We ask one of the guys back there and he shows us where it is and turns it on for us. We tell him we'll buy it. But he doesn't help us. Michael gets a cart, and as we are going to the front, Tony tells us to make sure we stand it upright when we transport it. He also adjusts it on the cart so that it's level and even. We tell him we appreciate his help, and we mean it. The price is reasonable, and we earn points by buying it here at Best Buy. Customer service is lacking in some areas, but Tony proves that it is alive and well in other areas. He's a five. Other guy is a 3.

I took my laptop there and for a diagnostic fee of only $60 they were able to get my Dell working again. The Geeks were going to have me turn this $1000 Dell into an expensive paperweight. On top of that, there was a diagnostic fee of $30-$50, plus repair costs starting at $500 and up. At that point, it felt more like a cash grab than a genuine repair service. Frustrated, I looked elsewhere and found a tech on Craigslist who charged a straightforward $50 per hour. He came to my place, diagnosed the issue, and identified the necessary part. Since he was a mobile tech and I caught him at the end of his shift, he had to order it. The part arrived two days later, and while I was able to install it myself, he was readily available to help if needed. In the end, I saved both time and money by going with a more transparent and reliable option. Safe to say, I won't be returning to this shop. I've included photos of the error messages I got when my cpu messed up. Not in correct order but the black screen was the final message prompting me to go into the repair shop.
