Worst company I have ever dealt with. You call and they tell you one thing then you show up at the store and it's completely different. Every time you call they tell you something different. "You don't need this, you need to return that, oh no we can't accept this return of equipment even though that is exactly what the internet expert that I spent 45 minutes on the phone with told me to do. Super hard to find. Employee stepped in front of me to reserve a spot to speak to a human. Phone was zero help giving directions to the well hidden store. Once registered they blew up my texts. That's a lot of fails!!!! read more

A final reminder why I'm so glad we DROPPED spectrum. Went to return our equipment and it was over an hour wait. Literally half the store was doing the same thing and each person should theoretically only take a couple mins max to check it the equipment and cross check the account. read more

i canceled my internet on january 17th, 2026. then received a bill for $90.00 that went to february 11th. according to spectrum their " billing cycle" ends on the 14th of each month. like thats common knowledge. so they are charging me a full month of internet service that i can not use. i called and got the same responce of "spectrum will not credit or prorate" anything at all. i was a customer of spectrum for 15 years and this is one of the reasons i switched to t-mobile. legal theft sprctrum !!!! read more

10/5/2025 at approximately 1 p.m.: My sister and I went to the 3850 Mandeville store to switch over service from my brother-in-law to my sister after he passed away. Brittany was extremely helpful--she got everything sorted out for my sister, but more than just the tech service, she was patient, kind, and knowledgeable! She is a consummate service professional. Nancy is also going to enjoy significant savings from switching from Verizon to Spectrum for her mobile phone carrier. read more

Not enough help over the lunch hour. Need stools for customers to sit while being waited on. Maybe even for the workers. It seems a long time to complete the computer work. I entered at 11:45 am and left a 1:20pm. No I did not have an appointment, but still, just waiting while the transaction, purchasing a new phone, took place, I had to stand for over a half hour. Please have stools for your customers. The lady was very nice once I got up to her counter. read more

Went to Spectrum this morning to return boxes and cables and remotes. Changing service to internet based programming. Kamilah could not have been nicer. She was professional, capable, knowledgeable, and personable. She removed the devices, and as I was preparing to leave, I asked if she could assist me with the steps involved with getting the Spectrum apps on my computer at home. She patiently assisted this technologically challenged senior citizen in such a way that I understood. Full disclosure, I am NOT related to Kam or any of her coworkers, but they ALL deserve a raise. Zero stars! We switched from Spectrum to AT&T Fiber as soon as it was laid on our block. We canceled Spectrum over the phone and they said according to their T&C (no contract) we had to pay for the full, final month even though we only had one billing day into the new month prior to canceling. BEWARE! I returned the internet equipment to the new Mandeville location and received a receipt and also took a pic to have in my phone. Two weeks later we followed up with Spectrum to see about the final bill and get a zero balance. Spectrum informed us that not only was internet service turned back on at our home but we also have their cable service now. We NEVER had cable with Spectrum; only internet. This is fraud. Evidently an employee at the Mandeville location turned these services on (no installation appointment and no equipment installed) to gain a fraudulent commission. The manager at the Mandeville location is rude & WORTHLESS. She was too busy on her lunch break to help and had me handle everything over the phone with Spectrum fraud dept. We finally got our bill closed out with a zero balance. We are VERY happy with AT&T Fiber at $55/month for 300Mbps. We no longer get constant buffering when streaming Netflix on just one device like in the past with Spectrum. read more

Spectrum - Internet Service Providers Near Me - Mandeville, Louisiana

Just a story of Spectrum "service": My internet service didn't reboot when a 12 hour outage, one of many outages, ended. From just about midnight on a Wednesday through the following Tuesday at 5 pm it was out. I had scheduled service to restore my lost internet after the 12 hour outage. And despite terrible internet reliability, I was going to reorder their cable television service in my house once my internet was restored. But unbeknownst to me, Spectrum had an agenda. The Spectrum "service" took 6 1/2 hours and no less than 3 service people & trucks! No one showed me a work order. I received no confirmation of who my service person would be. I got my sister to stay with me for a time since I felt uneasy. After hours I was overwhelmed & exhausted by this epic work event - anyone would be but it was made harder as an effect of my disability. I explained that effect & asked them repeatedly to finish or stop what they were doing. They did not give any concern to my concern or misery. And when I told the last service person, as he was finally leaving after 6 1/2 hours, that I didn't have internet back - he told me, with some vengefully pleased tone why they were "really" there. I quote: "Spectrum cut your house's line deliberately. They were tired of not being admitted to your house for a service call. So even though they know you weren't using the tv lines this was done to remove them." He sneered & added "You & your house were a problem because there was "noise" traced in the line from your idle tv wires in your attic." He said, " I was here to "downgrade your house & remove them. I have done that. Technically I'm free to leave. That's all the order was for." I was shocked. He finally said he would "try to get the internet back". I called Spectrum while he worked. The automated system asked if I was "satisfied with the downgrade work on my house". He was right. They weren't sent to restore my internet or anything I'd given permission to do. I was the victim of deliberate sabotage to gain entry to my house for an over 6 hour invasion of my privacy. I felt so violated. Finally internet was restored & the last Spectrum worker left. Repeated anxiety attacks resulted for days following. There was nothing friendly or helpful to me about this deliberately cut wire or the removal of the possibility for tv service without even more work & hours of Spectrum invasion. It is very important to note that no one from Spectrum advised me of this work nor had ever mentioned that their system had any issue requiring removal of my idle tv lines. It is important to note that I had asked in phone calls to Spectrum to report or resolve other outages why I was being sent notices for service as, when we didn't have outages that were usually area wide, my internet was fine. I was told by their personnel it was just for a standard check up & not a necessary thing. So... with their own people having been why they weren't given a service call and without ever saying anything about a problem. This deliberately cut wire & no compensation for the 7 day deliberate outage & a 6 1/2 hour invasion of privacy was Spectrum's idea of "service". My internet only service is now the exact same as it ever was - fine whenever it's up. They say they removed my idle tv cable service wires. They did succeed in not getting a 4 tv order for cable service & hopefully another company will soon be my internet provider. read more

What a horrible experience. As a new customer, I ordered WiFi and TV online and went in store to pickup my equipment. Whitney was rude and unwilling to explain the TV options to me. I was told to call the 1-800 number while standing in the store!! Why even have a store? read more
