Thanks, Eric, for the great customer service! I caught Eric on his way out; he recently got a new job. But, he was still the bomb-diggity with getting me set up with a new phone. Process was quick and painless (except for the cash out of pocket, of course, ha!) and we were in and out in relatively little time. Historically, visiting a Verizon store was a dreadful consideration because of the lines and the amount of time a single transaction might take. I guess that's what you get for being the biggest and the best, eh? Here in Mandeville, at least, they've gotten well past that! I've been to this location more than 4 times now and every visit has been smooth. For example, we were third in line on this visit and we were still there less than 10 or 15 minutes before someone saw us. So, if you're looking for a great experience, knowledgeable friendly staff, and a good selection of product, look no further. This is the Verizon store for you! read more

This location of Verizon is the absolute best. It had a layout that allowed customers to sit and speak with an agent one-on-one. I explained my issue to Gil, we went over the steps I'd taken to get there, then David stepped in observe & assist. Within 15 minutes my phone was back to normal. I almost wept with joy! With all the dread & hesitation to seek help, this negates all the negative experiences I've encountered in the past. This branch is there to HELP you! Every time I've gone into the store just out of convenience it is like being attacked by used car salesmen. Then They will say anything and everything to sell you a product. But every time I do have to go in for a problem of any kind, they are never helpful and never stand by phone or product. A few months ago, I went in just by to get a charger- I only went there because of convenience based on where I live. I picked out the cheaper one and the man who was helping me said I should get the other one (that was much more expensive) but that it had a warranty so that if anything happened to it, I can just bring it right back and they would give me a new one. That sold it for me, and I bought the more expensive one....A price I would never pay for a typical charger- but clearly I thought would be worth it based on what he said. Well, after after six months or so, the adapter that goes into the phone broke off. I just went by the store to trade it out for a new one and immediately was told they did not think they covered that. They started telling me that they can't trade it out before they even knew what was wrong with it- then I showed them the snapped adapter. I told them what the salesman had told me and they were even able to look up who told me that, but they said they could not trade it in. Even said we can't verify what acrually happened to it- insinuating I would have damaged it on purpose? Literally the adapter snapped off in my phone. He said if it had just stopped working, then we could trade it out (but had already told me no when I first walked in thinking it had just stopped working) but because it is damaged (simply adapter broke off), we cannot. About three other men were in there with no customers -so listening to the entire thing- and I told him again what the sales person had told me originally to make the sale, and they said unfortunately we can't do anything. I know not to ever step foot in that store again, but I just wanted to let buyers beware that they will say anything and everything to make the sale, but then that's it. We could not have been more pleased with the service that Stephen provided at the store. We were not able to arrive till 30 minutes before closing but you would've never known it by how pleasantly we were greeted and treated. Stephen sat down with us and went over our plan and recommended phones. We ended up staying 45 minutes after the store's closing because not only did Stephen sell us phones and recommend cases and screen protectors, but he installed them and transferred all the data between all the phones. He could've easily just sold us the funds and that would've been enough but he went the extra mile. We left the store with working phones thanks to him and he was just a great guy. This is what phenomenal customer service looks like. We will go back here again for any future Verizon needs. read more

The customer service here is non existent. Wish I could give 0 stars. It took 57 minutes for someone to even acknowledge me when I walked in the door. I waited an hour and a half just to be told IPhones are on back order. I stopped in last night to talk about ways to reduce my bill. After looking at the devices and my plan I ended up upgrading my daughters phone and mine and my bill is $60 less! Meghan was so helpful, not at all pushy, and found ways and discounts for me to have my bill where I want it. All of this took less then an hour. I had my 6 year old with me and she was so patient with her and kept her entertained while we were there. read more

Beware this is not a real Verizon store. My wife went to buy a new phone that was $699, their price was $710 and on top of that they charged a $50 device setup fee not related to Verizon's $40 upgrade fee. She was not made aware of these extra charges while purchasing the phone. The guy didn't even know how to setup the phone as I had to text her instructions on how to do it while she was there and then proceed to finish it when she got home. When she got home I noticed the extra charges and immediately went back to the store to return the phone as every place has at least a 14 day grace period. They didn't want to refund our money and tried to offer us some crappy case as compensation. They did eventually do the return, but charged a $75 restocking fee. I read the fine print and there is not a mandatory restocking fee. This place is a straight up scam. I have already contacted Verizon and my credit card company to reverse their charge. read more

Worst customer service, EVER. I don't say that lightly, but this is attitude central working with Karen. Everyone apparently needs some customer service training on how to speak respectfully without attitude to longtime paying customers who allow them to have a job in the first place. Our first agent Mark did not do what we clearly asked him to do-(add an authorized name on account) so that picking up merchandise would not be a problem. After NOT being notified merchandise had arrived, I had to call and follow up. Needing merchandise by a certain date, I went to pick up and dealt with another lovely agent, Karen. Basically she "taught" me that they work on commission only and at 2 different stores and Mark was our salesperson so she can't do anything about it. We asked Mark in plain English very clearly to make sure I am able to pick up merchandise on my own yet he failed to do what was needed causing the entire problem in first place. Karen spoke to my husband on phone & said he had to call the Verizon 611 where he waited on hold for quite a while to request what we thought Mark had already done. ZERO understanding on mark or Karen's part to understand how frustrating this was as a paying customer. Good luck to both of them in life and at Verizon with the way they conduct themselves. read more
