Viktor and his team did an amazing job! Very thorough and considerate of our furniture, considered every piece of furniture and delivered it to the exact location we needed. Everything was moved without a scratch. They knew exactly how to pack and move everything even at the last minute when I was still boxing everything up. On my move day my elevator was broken so the team had to run up and down 5 flights of stairs. When I let viktor know about the broken elevator, he was not phased at all and was meticulous in getting everything out and into our new place. Wow! If you are looking to move anywhere in the Bay Area, these are your guys! Denis and Nik did an incredible job moving me from a 2BR loft in San Jose to a studio in the busiest part of San Francisco on Market Street. They are incredibly fast, wrapped each piece of furniture very carefully, and are very strong -- carrying furniture that previously took 3 guys to lift during my last move. Among my furniture was a solid wood media stand, a solid wood Room & Board dresser, a queen bed, a digital piano, and a wine cabinet. After they finished arranging the furniture in my place, they also disposed of all the wrapping materials. I recently did a fairly large move to a new home and had a bunch of new furniture that needed to be assembled along with existing items that needed to be taken apart and put back together. I had a spiral staircase and some very heavy items which most movers would complain about but these guys were so professional and pleasant to deal with. I was quoted for a 4 man team which I feel was very fair and helped move the job along much quicker. After seeing everything that needed to be moved and assembled I estimated it to at least be a 7-8 hour job but gladly it took a couple hours less than that. I was very pleased to see how efficient these guys worked. They didn't slow down from start to finish, treated everything with extra care and went above and beyond what they were required to do just to make us happy. I chose Spectrum Local Movers based on their limited good reviews on Yelp. I was hoping that Victor and his team show up as I have seen most of the reviews on here recommended him. But instead, they sent us two inexperienced beginner guys who were just done with their morning shift around 3:30pm and headed straight to another job without taking any break! They got to my old place around 4:25-4:30pm and the main guy (Case) started packing the big items. I hired 2 movers but only one person was packing the whole time and I barely saw the other guy since he was doing this job for only 4 months and perhaps he didn't know how to do the packing. I had already packed ALL the small items so basically only the bed, couch and the TV set were left to be packed. After about an hour packing by the main guy, the other guy showed up to take some small items downstairs. Then the main guy left too and they disappeared for over an hour or so ... I was concern about their absence for a long time so I went downstairs multiple times to check on them. The truck was still there (thank God) but nobody was loading anything and the truck door was closed!!!! I'm not sure what they were doing in the truck but apparently they were taking break since they haven't had any break since the morning of that day ... then I decided to go back upstairs cuz there was no point to stand there and see when they come out to continue working on the job. 10 minutes later, they showed up and took some more small item and left. Again, they disappeared for another 40 minutes or so before they showed up again! It got to the point that my parents who were there to help me out with my move, started complaining about their long absence and very slow progress of the job. Only then, I brought that up to the main guy and asked him to work faster if possible. He said that he doesn't want to waste our time and left again to take a phone call for about 30 minutes!!! Then he showed up again and packed for about 30 minutes and then they took them downstairs. It took them almost 4 hours to finish packing and loading in my old place (when they actually work for 2 to 2.5 hours maximum) and when we got to my new place, they look terribly exhausted and when I asked the main guy if he is tired, he said yes and the fact that he didn't sleep at all the night before and he told me that I should have had scheduled the morning shift instead of the afternoon shift so that they could work efficiently!!!! I was so surprised to hear that he is ordering me when I should schedule the shift and he also asked me to call the company and tell them not to schedule the movers for back to back shifts!!! Apparently the company doesn't care about their employees (movers) and their work productivity so the costumer has to pay the price for their slacking and slow progress due to the movers being overworked and not being able to do the job efficiently. Long story short, they didn't finish the job until after midnight .... Not to mention that they broke one chair and two bulbs and they couldn't put the couch back together so when I sat on it, it split apart in two pieces and I fell down on the floor, blah ... and I haven't even started unpacking yet... I'm pretty sure I will find more damage when I start unpacking my boxes, etc The shadiest part and the most unprofessional part of the whole story was at the end, when the main guy wanted to charge me for 9 hours or so and I refused to accept that and after he talked to his manager and the manager agreed on charging me for 5.5 hours instead of 9 hours, he gave me his phone to sign the form stating a charge for $500 but there was $375 balance due below that line in which I refused to sign. Then he went to talk to his manager again and he came back and said that he was tricking me with having me sign the form for $500 and that I have to pay the full balance for 9 hours!!!! I was shocked and scared at the same time and told him that I'm heading to my place and I will handle this issue with his manager at a later time. Then he said that he is going to follow me to my place and he doesn't leave me alone until I pay the full amount! I was horribly frightened to the point that I told him I will call cops on him if he doesn't leave the building ASAP!!! It was such a nightmare move and a lesson learned not to rely on some good reviews on yelp especially if they are one or two years old , smh read more

I hired spectrum to help move from a 2 bedroom condo in SF to a 3 bedroom single-family. The job required 3 movers. Together they moved quite quickly and helped disassemble/assemble some large pieces of furniture. Fragile items were properly packaged and protected. I scheduled a fairly large move two weeks in advance for a weekday. Four strong gentlemen showed up in a large truck at the appointed time and did a great job moving everything, including large items, from the old place to the new. They never slowed down and they made it seem easy. They disassembled bed frames at the origin house and reassembled them at the destination. Odd items that were in containers but not necessarily in nice boxes got wrapped up tidily and transported with everything else. Everything arrived without any damage at all.
