However, I was very disappointed with my final billing experience. I am permanently relocating out of the country to an area where Spectrum does not provide service, and I canceled my account with 16 days remaining in my billing cycle. Despite no longer being able to use the service, I was charged for the entire month with no prorated adjustment. What made this especially frustrating is that Spectrum indicated the account could have been transferred to the new homeowners if they chose to activate service, yet there was still no flexibility regarding the final bill. I understand companies have policies, but charging customers for weeks of service they cannot use leaves a poor final impression. It's unfortunate because the quality of the service itself deserved a higher rating.

They accused my non-existant child of ordering TV services on my non-existant Roku. When I asked who authorized any added services and why they wouldn't bother to send a notice, alert, email (literally anything) that this was added on, they said, "Oh, we had the wrong account pulled up." Shady and clearly disorganized company. Ridiculous.

Walking in, the place is extremely clean and not to busy, which means the wait time isn't too bad. Now that the other store by HEB has closed, they're the main location in Kyle and for good reason, they don't suck! As for the devices, it's like any other phone store, tons of devices from many different manufactures, accessories and this store do device repair as well. As far as the sales staff, they're pretty knowledgeable and they smile when helping. I find that trait refreshing considering some can get irritable when there's a ton of people waiting. I was able to upgrade my device within a reasonable amount of time, no chit-chat needed for my account or which phone I wanted or if they had it in stock. Admittedly I researched it online before walking in. One issue I had was I ordered a device from the store across from them and they screwed up the order process. These guys stepped up their game and helped me out of a tough jam. Heck, I even got their district managers name who personally saw to my issue. As for in store, they wrapped up my sale rather quickly and I left extremely satisfied with my experience. I give this store for being on top of their game, being a top notch cell phone store. It's in a safe area, the store is extremely clean and the staff are friendly and know their products and computer system. If you're on Tmobile or wanting to switch and in the area, I highly suggest stopping by. They're employees or sales staff are more than willing to help all while having a positive attitude.

Apart from the…read morefailures of service and having to listen to a lengthy sales pitch before talking to support, their business practices are deceptive and predatory. After a year they raised my rate from about $75/ month to $118. I called and said I would drop them if the didn't go back the original rate. The Rep promised they would lower it back the original rate for a whole year. I checked the account 2 months in a row and they stayed at the original rate. I didn't check again as I assumed they would keep their word, my mistake. I checked back three months later and found they had raised the rate $10/ month 2 months in a row, then $15, the third month. I called to complain and they said there was nothing they could do about it so I cancelled the account and they wanted to charge me for the month ahead as it was the first day of the billing period. I declined to pay and they put the charge into collection. Needless to say a minus 5 stars would be the best I could give these criminals, but since I have to leave a star they get only one. Do not use these morons, their business practices are abhorrent and customer service is the worst, and I'm being generous.
