So, when Pete Davis of Davis Voice & Data contacted us with an offer of higher speed internet service using line of sight radio signal for a price less than what we had been paying, and, having purchased a security system from them in the past, we had no hesitancy in signing up with them. The installation technicians arrived in a timely fashion and completed their work promptly and professionally. Our internet speed was greatly improved, as promised. But, there was a problem . . . . . . Because it is sometimes necessary for me to work from home, I use a VPN to connect to my work network server. This VPN arrangement worked great with our current internet service but we were unable to get it to connect to the Max WiFi/David Voice & Data service. It was frustrating to have access to a higher speed internet service but not be able to use it in the manner that my work required. To their credit, Pete and Corey from Davis Voice & Data didn't give up in coming up with a satisfactory installation. They made another visit to our residence and also spent a great deal of time on the phone with our VPN provider to come up with a solution. Finally, after a week of work and perseverance, they were successful in solving the problem. The VPN, now connected to the Max WiFi/Davis Voice & Data internet service, is fully functional. The true nature of a person or a company is revealed in their reaction when things don't go as planned and problems arise. Davis Voice and Data didn't cut and run. They stayed at it until they found a solution to our problem. Their persistence is to be commended and recommended. Based on our experience, they are a company that can be trusted to do the right thing.

I was told "Unfortunately, we can't help you." But what of your flier? "We don't provide service to your new residence." Another case of promises and lies.

The DVR box provided doesn't even show non-HD channels so I don't have to parse through hundreds of channels I'll never use. I must say the amount of channels is staggering though and as soon as I find out how to pair that down and remove channels from my view, this service will literally be perfect. The installer named Jack was incredibly accommodating; letting us pick the install location near the mantle of our fireplace. There are frequent service interruptions in which my diagnostic​ software indicates that my equipment and connection to Spectrum is fine but Spectrum's connection to the internet has been disrupted. After about two to three minutes, the connection resumes. I use the connection for work and it seriously interrupts my activities. Calling Spectrum gets the usual "restart your internet and wireless router canned answer.
