Also, this was not a "misunderstanding" on our part, but a lack of ethics, morales, and business integrity on part of the Verizon team in Huber Heights! Store Manager, Mitch, in Huber Heights, Ohio and his associate, Victor, helped tremendously in getting us transferred back to Verizon from a NIGHTMARE, with Consumer Cellular promises to 'save us money'. Consumer Cellular was AWFUL in transferring to their service from Verizon!!! After several days of reps having us do all the work, they then had the nerve to tell me that my phone wasn't compatible, and I needed to buy a new one! We had already purchased a new phone for my 96yr old mother, who has a difficult time with ANY change. Needless to say, we ended up back with Verizon, after Mitch and Victor helped reestablish all 3 phone services to Verizon. Thank You. read more

My experience that I've had with customer service since December of 2023 has not been good and the coverage well my 5G disappeared. Customer service is nothing like it used to be and they keep raising their prices they are becoming too costly for what you get. Slept outside on freezing concrete for 12 hours+ awaiting launch of iPhone 6+ and arrived at 7:45pm as #4 in line. At 7:20am, just 40 minutes before sales began, the General Manager, Kevin, allowed the First Lady in line to bring four of her family members who slept at home ALL night & didn't even arrive until 7:20am to BUTT in front of myself and the other 35 ppl behind me who camped out all night. Needless to say, that pushed me back to #8 and one of the family members allowed to cut bought the only two 128Gb phones they had which I had just waited 12+ hours for. As the VP of a multi-billion dollar company myself, I have contacted Kevin's boss and the Executive Office of Verizon in Arizona. I have also sent out a company-wide email within my organization disallowing ANY product to be purchased from this location for our own corporate use. read more

Boooo just booooo! I have been a customer with Verizon since 2006, and since about 2009 the customer service at this location sucks. I absolutely HATE coming into this store for anything. In fact, I honestly just dread it all together. I usually try and avoid a visit unless it is an absolute necessity. They descend upon you like a pack of vultures then quickly scatter when they realize they won't be receiving your commission. Even worse if I have to just pay my bill. Ugh. I came in mostly recently with a technical problem. My Galaxy S5 quit vibrating, which for me is a big deal because I keep my phone almost exclusively on vibrate because of work or school. I have had this phone for just over three months, and other than the recent vibrating issue; I LOVE my phone! Anyway, after waiting nearly 45 minutes (I was quoted 20 minutes, and there were supposedly only two people ahead of me) a CSR without even physcially touching my phone, told me there wasn't anything they could do, other than factor reset my phone. I asked how factor reseting my phone would help solve the vibrate problem and was offered NO explanation, other than it being my "best option." This type of "service" is the exact reason I have opted to buy all my phones online at a discounted price and do my own activations! I don't understand how or why the CSR's on the phone are much more helpful and empathetic, but they are! I would avoid going to this store at all costs. Try help over the phone, or try another location. I'm the sure the service would be far better...it can't be much worse. read more

Beware of Verizon in Huber Heights! I went in this past December to talk about changes to my plan. He worked with me for over an hour, I asked many times, "so what will my bill be?"... We made some changes and he said my bill would be $175. Great! Well, he FAILED to tell me the $175 was just for the first month, after that my bill grew to $218! Boo Verizon! When I went in to talk to the manager he was not helpful and did not make things right. Shame on Verizon! read more

Terrible. In their defense, verizon and at&t have the best data and that is why their stores are so packed. Their employees do get pretty rude here. Maybe verizon could add a few more store fronts or weekend workers to handle the inevitable issues that come up. Anyway, we took my friend here to upgrade his phone. What he was doing was slightly complicated and 2-4 people at different verizon stores told him different things. This store was especially bad. He was told first what to do. He came in to actually do it. Then he needed another phone from his family plan. His sister came home from college just to make the switcheroo and jump through all the necessary hoops for everything to work out. Instead, some manager said he refused to do it. Then we went on to the next Verizon store where they wanted our business and did exactly what we came for without completely wasting our time. What a joke. The sales guy ignored me at first then when I told him I was there to get help setting them up and transfering our old accounts he said "we don't transfer phones here anymore take them to Best Buy" then turned and walked away. Hubs and I went yesterday to upgrade our phones. Carmen took excellent care of us and made so many accommodations to help us get the best deals. Her first day flying solo on the floor, and we couldn't have asked for better service. I think that says a lot about their training process, that from day 1 an employee can do such a job. I highly recommend her. The store was very busy, but turnaround seemed to be steady. It's clean, there's lots of floor models to play with, and the staff is knowledgable about the phones and other products. We were surprised when we left to see that we had been there for 3 hours - our 11 yo son didn't even complain about the time, he had so many options to keep busy. The franchise stores can't compete - if you're in the market for a new phone, go to the corporate store. Specifically this one. read more

Verizon - Mobile Phones Near Me - Huber Heights, Ohio

Jonathan (with 8 years of experience), does not realize that Verizon does lock phones. We spent two days trying to port the Verizon number to another carrier and were having issues. The other carrier said that the phone's network needed to be unlocked. Jonathan was taking names at the door and putting people into the queue based on their issue. Jonathan insisted that they do not lock the phones after it was more than 60 days and refused to log us in to talk with someone. We visited the store twice in two days and Jonathan was at the door both times refusing to allow us to talk with anyone (because he had 8 years of experience). We finally called Verizon Tech Support and talked with Amber. She said the phone was still locked and could be checked in two minutes at the store. Amber was able to unlock the phone, then we were able to reboot the phone and it worked perfectly on the new network. Jonathan should not be doing triage at the door. read more

A sloppily dressed receptionist took my name to place me on the waiting list and told me I should expect to wait approximately 5 minutes. 45 minutes later I was finally met by a service associate. The employees acted as if they didn't have a care in the world and I had to endure several minutes of the receptionist loudly paling around with his "homie". This store is a joke... read more

This store is awful they allow people who are not authorized to make changes to your accountake changes. I had a 800 dollar phone bill due to them allowing someone else to make a change to my account without my permission and this happened more than once. Came here on a Friday afternoon to get my phone upgraded. I honestly expected a long wait but they got me in immediately. CAUTION: I was at the Verizon store in Huber Heights today (13 November). AWFUL customer service. My company is upgrading from old flip phones to new iPhones. My co-workers went in yesterday and had no problems. I went in today and was mistreated. I have ZERO knowledge of phones so was hoping to get some help. The agent assigned to me was TERRIBLE! He was rude and talked down to me, accusing me of trying to take advantage of my company. Said disgruntled employees do that all the time. I have no idea why he made that assumption about me. Bottom line, he was VERY unprofessional and offered no help. I wish this Verizon store would better train their employees and better screen who they hire. I received excellent service from Brandon; however my IPhone 6 is experiencing problems where people can't understand me sometimes and a loud high pitched noise comes on intermittently while I'm on the phone. It's quite. annoying. Plus my plug in for music jack does not work. Not sure if it's the expensive case they sold me or not. I think I'm still in the two week period so may trade it in for another. The customer service that Verizon provides their customers is flat out embarrassing. I have been with Verizon for over 4 years and I have not been satisfied once. Their ability to solve problems, either in store or out of store is non-existent. The employees of Verizon lack the initiative to see that a solution is provided to a customer. Every "solution" I have received from the Verizon employees' results with a "good luck on your own" vibe as you walk out the door. What pushed me over my tolerance limit was no less than a week ago I came in to my local Verizon store with an issue with my IPHONE 4S. The power button was locked in place and was not able to be used. I have been paying for insurance on my phone for a year now, 10 dollars a month, just in case the screen would crack or an issue such as this would occur. After I told the employee my issue she proceeded to examine my phone. She noticed a hairline fracture in the bottom left hand corner, said my insurance will not cover it and that I will have to buy another one for $180. I let her know that the fracture was from another day and my issue is from my on/off button. She explained that any screen damage voids the replacement. I was displeased with the response and the lack of effort to help me further. She seemed more interested in moving onto the next customer than providing me with a solution. At the time they had an employee demonstrating the abilities of a Life Proof Case for his IPHONE. He was slinging his phone around the store and dropping it in water. Because I saw this I called her back and bought a Life Proof Case because she told me it had full protection with the case unlike my Verizon protection. I bought the replacement phone and the case on 11/6/13. Well today, 11/12/13 I worked 10 hours with my new replaced phone I paid $180 for inside my $90 case to find a crack in the screen from top to bottom. I walked into Verizon knowing that my stay might last 3 seconds and result with even more frustration than my previous visit. My prediction was right; "Well another 180 dollar charge will have to be the answer sir." I asked to speak with a manager at this point and she said there must have been a hairline crack in the screen when I received it. She offered me no further help or advice.
