I have come into to spectrum here a a few times for service help for my home as well mobile service. Pua was helpful with assisting me and twice I have had Ashlynn assist me and she was absolutely amazing!! Ashlynn made it so easy to start up new service with a new for my son taking the time to make sure we had parental controls set properly and linked his email and game accounts! Most rudest via-phone customer service ive ever experience. And the Prince Kuhio Mall location is so slow moving in Hilo its ridiculous! And they had 4 agents helping customers. Although they have chairs for waiting customers theres not enough some had to stand and wait. I could tell they were tired and irritated. One customer told me he had been there 30 minutes and still waiting. I was finally helped 50 minutes later.. took me 5 minutes to handle my business there. I got a rep but she transferred to another department & I was on hold for 44 minutes before hanging up. Im afraid they outwaited me successfully outrageous poor customer service snd should be made to put discontinue service on the web site . the website conveniently has no REMOVE SERVICE option. only options are add to increase service. Switching from AT&T to Spectrum saves money on paper but not when it requires my wife and I to each take half if a work day cut through the corporate clutter of two major phone carriers. They don't tell you how difficult it is to switch. Now that I've switched, I can't turn on wifi calling and all my calls drop due to poor coverage. Spectrum customer service now says it may take 24 hours to get me on the wifi network. If not, I'll change my review to one star. Everyone at Spectrum customer service tries their best. That's why I offer two stars for mobile and wifi service that is presently unusable. read more

Slow moving. Thank goodness I'll be disconnecting my service with them and will not have to wait in a 10-person queue with just two time-inconsiderate workers running the place. There was a third worker, who glimpsed at the long line of people and then disappeared into the back. 5 counters, no staff. Spectrum constantly raises their rates! No limit to how high they will go! I called to cancel but they "hooked" me by a great rate. Told me to call back at end of month for billing purposes. Called back but gave a higher rate than what was offered but was still better than the old rate. Received the bill, which was still showing the old rate on autopay! Called back and was told they would take out the old autopay rate but had to put the new lower rate on a card for just that month, which I did. But checked back and they never removed the higher autopay rate PLUS charged my card the lower rate, resulting in a double payment. Numerous calls made to fix the issue and agents act like they know nothing about it! They refused to let me speak to a supervisor, and agent hung up on me! Went into the Hilo store and was told they have nothing to do with that problem and I had to deal with the people on the phone! Useless useless useless people there. DO NOT EVER USE SPECTRUM!!!!!! My family and I have been Spectrum customers for years (way before it was Spectrum). Usually customer service locally is typically nice and friendly. But on rare occasions, we meet people like Kainoa, who is the epitome of what customer service should be like for every company. More Spectrum locations need people like Kainoa. He was extremely friendly, courteous, and his product knowledge and service knowledge was TOP NOTCH and SPOT ON! I am visiting from Honolulu and let me tell you something, I have not met ANYONE as knowledgeable, approachable and patient as Kainoa. He helped set us up with everything we needed and assisted us with the service we were requesting given we were trying to work something out to help my family here on the Big Island while I'm living in Honolulu. Got a iPad through Puainako location was about to return within the 14 days but was told I would have to pay a fee of $50 in order for them to put something they unpackaged in store themselves back on their shelves to resell!! Now, if you pay off a device when a bill is already generated they will not revised that generated bill. So, you are going to still have to pay for a device that was already paid off. It's not worth joining the Spectrum Mobile!! Go somewhere else for phone services!! $29.99 isn't worth being scammed out of more monies!! read more

When I went there, I did not have an appointment. I waited for 20 minutes and noone ackknowledged me. I walked up to the counter and asked how long it would take to be seen and no one responded. They just ignored me. I went back 15 minutes later and demanded to get an answer and they said they had to take appoints first and they had no idea how long it would take. There were employees talking at a station but would not allow anyone to come up there unless they had an appointment. I finally had to leave. A customer on the way out said they dont talk to you unless you have ant appointment. There was no option in the store to take a number like there was 3 years ago. I dont see any scheduling options on the website. Worst customer relations I have seen in my 70 years. read more

Great pricing and easy simple billing with no fees or extras or taxes but what does that matter when you can't make calls you can't get service and things just don't work properly!! The overall experience with spectrum mobile has been fair at best. I've never had so many drop calls or the inability to get a signal to make a call with my phone since switching to spectrum mobile. I just spent over an hour and 15 minutes on the phone trying to get some thing I called about previously resolved. After a long wait I inquired what was going on and the rep then informed me that we were waiting to talk to another supervisor. Communication skills with customer service need improving dramatically. Even when you go into the store location here in Hilo they have to call the mainline or someplace else to get help. Very frustrating and not worth the cheaper price. read more
