Spectrum is the ABSOLUTE worst company I've EVER dealt with!!
1) They are the most expensive internet company.
They don't START that way, but they increased my bill $10.00/month for the box, among other reasons for increases.
2) Their service cuts out when it rains, the wind blows, the sun is shining, maintenance and so on. It went out so often it was ridiculous. I asked for price reductions for when the system went out, but they had special rules for that, as well!! You had to call when it was out and give them specific times that I was unable to use the internet.
I can't imagine what that would do for my customers if I had Spectrum business to depend on their service!! As a matter of fact, I once called my doctors office when it was raining and their internet was down. I had to ask if they were with Spectrum and they said that they were. They said, "it's ALWAYS going out!"
3) When I went to the Spectrum store to cancel my service after over more than 5 years of service, they asked why I wanted to leave. I told them because of the price and the reliability!! After 5 years of service, my cost was OVER $300.00 a MONTH.
At that time they offered to lower my monthly cost to just over $200.00!! I said, "if you could've lowered my monthly prices this much, why wasn't it offered this in the 5 years I was with them!? They just said that the offer was just for right now.
They actually lied right to my face!!
They start with a reduced price, but it slowly goes up...EACH month!!
If you're a business I would DEFINITELY find another option. My local electric company offers a $50.00/a month price. I've had it for 2 years now, and it has NEVER gone out! Not once! And the price hasn't increased a dime. Not once!!
I keep seeing their commercials about how dependable they are, but I know not 1 single person that has/had their service that was pleased with the price OR the service!!
That is why I felt I had to let people know the truth.
