Update after missing 5 days work $400 dollars 28 1/2 hrs dealing customer service I tried bring back my Spectrum phone that doesn't work . I was informed I had $50 returning fee the regional manager put on my account due I yelled in their store cause they caused problem with zero resolution. I called customer service they gave me 50 dollar credit due mess regional manager created. Store unethical Buffons zero customers service and they can't do simple phone transfers. read more

Horrible went in Spectrum store checking on price mobile phone . Key point told them I need same number told no problem I can do in hour. 90 minutes later kid said all done here is new phone with new number I said I need same number. Told no problem phone will sync next day and gave them my old phone .next day nothing synced !!! I have different number can't access work banks dr and dentist can't contact my new number 15 hrs on phone multiple tickets every issue closed no call . Went in store I raised my voice so can't get my old phone back and now have spend 400 on new phone . Scam zero stars bunch clowns can't do anything correct read more

I would give 0 if I could. It took 2 hours to be called to simply replace a router. Worst experience. Figure out a better system.

Made a reservation. They took 2 Walk-ins ahead of me. Apparently they just signed in when they arrived. Waited 45 minutes. When I complained they finally took me. Took guy total of 3 minutes to give me my equipment. Hate Spectrum but it has a monopoly in apartment complex. read more

I went in today to simply return some equipment. there were two staff who didn't even acknowledge me coming in to at least ask what it is that I needed. They told me to check in. the wait list had around 6 people. There was no reason to need to check in, wait to be called just to drop off spectrum's equipment they charge people if they keep. The associate told me that I needed to drop it off UPS. if a customer already made their way to the STORE for a reason why would I think to go to UPS? What a joke to keep people waiting over something that could easily be addressed. It was sheer laziness. The employee just didn't want to take a few seconds to get off their chair to assist another customer. Spectrum needs to realize who they hire because the customer service was Pathetic. read more

I have to say, as much as I hate Spectrum and can commiserate with some of the other comments on this, our East Greenbush store is fantastic. Especially Brianna - She patiently helped us out when 3 other customer service reps either kicked the can down the road or flat out told us there was nothing they could do. Each time I have moved, I've dreaded dealing with changing service with Spectrum. Equipment never transfers, plans always vary, it's endlessly frustrating. My all time best Spectrum experience--not to mention the easiest part of my latest move--was this Spectrum location. I found a Spectrum store not too far from me. I wanted to return the modem and router and see if they could shed any light on why the new equipment didn't work with my mom's service. They could not. The associate said he could issue new equipment to try. I said, unless you can tell me something concrete, I see no point in that because I re-installed the old equipment to functioning operation. He said he could give me a number to call. I said, that's what my brother did, and the answer was to send a new modem and router, the equipment I'm returning today. So I left it at that and got a receipt for the returned equipment. read more

Was simply trying to return equipment to this store. There were two employees. One took care of a customer and then she went into the back area and disappeared. The second employee spent 15 minutes at the service desk chatting with a former employee who had gotten a job at the casino. He ignored the fact that a customer was waiting to simply return equipment. When the former employee finally stopped chatting and left the desk, I returned my equipment within two minutes. Extemely inconsiderate and NOT customer oriented. I had been considering changing my mobile service but am not impressed with this lack of focus on the customer. I am happy that this store is located in Rensselaer County but the store management needs to work on training their employees and assuring there are adequate number of employees to cover breaks etc. And prioritize customers over personal visitors. read more
