When I tried calling the local office, someone with an accent started screaming at me. I asked to speak to someone in the local office, and he started yelling asking if I thought Windstream started in Dalton Ga. He just kept screaming that I needed to call customer service and hung up on me. I called same number back and he went straight to yelling and screaming telling me not to ever call that number again, and then hung up. I didnt get to say anything. A couple of c/s ppl have helped, but when you have talked with 20 of them and only 2 tried. Thats bad.

The customer service is awful. They make it very difficult to speak to a person. They are rude, not…read morefriendly, and the English is poor. they charge $6.95 to run your card, and if it doesn't go through they will continue to run it, while charging $6.95 each time. Asking a person to reverse these charges is near impossible.. also my service would lag a lot, and randomly go out, taking up to 10 minutes each time to reconnect. The charge of $128 a month is ridiculous. I wouldn't use them if you have another choice.

I did some looking around and found ADTV and figured to give them a call on a Saturday afternoon no less...figure the odds of getting someone knowledgeable. Blessed by the Universe...Ed answers the phone and we chat for at least an hour...most impressive is all i can say. He guessed the powered splitter was capoot...i was skeptical since the green light was still on. There was an old manual splitter...Ed suggested rerouting the antenna then connect a TV and try the auto signal search feature...98 channels found....yeah man. So i am connecting the other 2 TVs and we are set.

I was told on the phone that our house was out of their service area and it probably wouldn't improve. SO - not only did they knowingly install service outside their area, but then sent me to collections because I didn't want to pay for someone to uninstall all the equipment and close out the account... After the experience, I reached out to others and apparently this is not uncommon at all for RTC.
