You cannot call into the local store and they kept my ID so now I have to make an extra trip why do they not have a local store number??

Assistant Manager Hugo is horrible at customer service…read more I've been a Verizon customer for 20+ years. most of the representatives through the years have been helpful and professional. However, I've consistently had a negative experience with an Assistant Manager named "Hugo". Every interaction with him has been difficult. He is rude, condescending and unprofessional. Don't expect any help from the manager "Crystal" as her and Hugo seem to be besties. She may like him but his customer service skills are terrible. when I asked Hugo for his district mangers name, he refused to tell me and stated hes not required to give me his boss's name. if I had done this at my job, I'd be fired immediately. when I got the name from another employee, I was unable to reach them. calling 611 only put me in an endless loop of waiting and transfers. I never did get to speak to someone responsible. I will never allow Hugo to assist me again. I will wait on another representative or go to another corporate store. Dalton cellular shoppers beware.

One star only because the door could open and close. Spent about 30mins talking about which phone…read morewe were gonna get, and we knew what we wanted, and they ended up saying their systems were down. After a quick conversation he assured that the systems were down "nation wide". Well we went to the other Verizon store down the road and had new phones in less than an hour of walking in the door, no questions asked. The first store had no answer as to when we "should" come back, no idea if they would be contacting us, and no amount of wanting to help us.
