I closed my account not 1,2 but 3 times. I called to confirm I was told it was closed they can't find my account. I went into the store to make sure it was closed they said yes it is completely closed. I get a bill today for $56. I spent 1 hour on the phone 3 people the last lady tried to get me to stay told me she was going to take care of me. I said ok pay the 56, because I am paying T mobile for this line. They said they can't but they can get me a better deal.......#WTF read more

I guess Spectrum doesn't have enough money, so they are insisting on charging a dead woman for service that she never received because she was dead. It is absolutely insane to me that they feel entitled to this money. I canceled the service 5 days after she died which is 2 days into the billing cycle which means she should have just been charged for 2 days but they are insisting that I have to pay her entire month and to add insult to injury they've been charging her for internet service for a year and she never had a computer. And they refuse to discuss that issue either so I really really hope that spectrum is happy that they got $150 from a dead woman for service that was never provided read more

Arrived at the store at 10:04 AM. Already people were waiting and we were number six on the list of drop ins we waited quite a while, but they were rather busy. Bonnie was our representative. She knew exactly what she was doing. Found the phones we had requested and transferred the data from the old phones to the new phones. She was pleasant and arranged our financing without a problem. I hope Spectrum appreciates her as a valuable employee. read more

We hear the horror stories about the cable and phone companies. Rarely does anyone tells us they had a good experience. So, I guess I'm about to go against the grain. We had just experienced an overnight power outage at our home that should have been no problem since we have an automated backup generator. Something went haywire, however. The generator turned on and we still didn't have any power. The power from National Grid then cycled on and off again a couple of times before we were back to normal. Unfortunately, when I later went to watch TV, I found that the cable box was not lit. After checking the obvious solutions to rectifying the situation, I concluded that the cable box was dead. Off to the nearest Spectrum store, cable box in hand. I could see that there were three technicians already busy with customers and the podium-monitor just inside the entrance encouraged me to "sign-in." Before I could even finish answering the four or five questions on the screen, one of the technicians became available. His customer had not yet even passed me on her way out and he was already approaching me and asking how he could help. As we returned to his station, I told him my cable box had died. He scanned the numbers on the box, asked me for identification, and proceeded to obtain a replacement for me. As I signed for the exchange, I glanced at his name tag. MIKE! I thought, this was such an easy and pleasant experience I really should right a review to counterbalance all the bad experiences that you hear about. Thank you, Mike, you are an outstanding employee. It probably took you almost as long to read this review as I spent in the Spectrum store. Every star well deserved. read more

Vampires. 60% increase in fees recently. Avoid. Looking to change providers. Awful. Just awful.

I have lived in different parts of the country with many different cable companies and this one by far is the worst. Rarely do I just turn on my TV without it rebooting. 2 receivers and the same outcome. Always waiting, waiting. waiting. Yes currently waiting for ten minutes to simply watch tv. 5 yrs of this. The only reason I continue is that it's offered free through my apartment rental package. I will be switching to streaming as I would rather pay for a service that I actually get. read more

I was trying to get but they closed their doors 30 minutes early as they were rolling their eyes into the back of their heads, and when I finally managed to get in they were all letting out heavy sighs. read more

Switched our family mobile service from sprint to spectrum. Purchased 3 new phones and just switched service on an iPhone 11. Worst coverage!!! Constant dropped calls, I don't know what to do? We keep resetting phones, SIM card replacement, etc. etc. nothing helps. The service is absolutely terrible!! I wish I could switch, it is effecting out ability to do business. I don't know how this is legal. Don't switch to spectrum mobile! The monthly price IS too good to be true! Don't do it! Worst coverage ever! read more

Wish I could give zero stars. At a time when they were not providing all the channels I had paid for they hit me with a rate increase. THEN they sent equipment that they apparently expect me to install. Fios cannot come soon enough. read more

Stay away. The slowest store I have ever been in. I was next in the q and they took number 4. They absolutely have no motivation or clue what they hell they are doing. Waited 1 hour and I was second in the q. read more

I am astounded by the poor customer service at such a prime location. One of the two employees working proceeded to chat with his customers for a half an hour about unrelated work topics along with text messages that he was receiving from his HR manager at the time. With such a long waiting list, customer service should have been a priority. read more

Spectrum sold me ultra internet just to get shitty service/signal strength............garbage!!!

Terrible service at the Clifton Park location! I had a 12:00 reservation, signed in at 11:45 and was the only customer waiting at the time. At 1:00 the same two customers were still being waited on and about 10 more customers arrived and a few left frustrated. While I understand that delays can happen, much of this time was spent listening to one of the reps tell stories and have other non-business conversations with the customer. Once one of the customer's transactions were complete, the rep ignored the reservation list and called on two other non-reservation customers at which time I interrupted him to say I was here prior to them and was the only person on the waiting board list with a reservation. Apparently he didn't believe me and asked me to show him my reservation even though I signed in with it and my name was on the board. In the future, I will do everything I can to avoid going to this place. read more

Tried to return iphone 12 (781.09 dollars) since February at the Spectrum store (15 Clifton Country Rd, Clifton Park, NY 12065), but due to their system issue they cannot proceed, even though everything i did is comply to their return policy. Store manager (Maureen.passaro@charter.com) opened a ticket (ticket#3268839) on 2/26/22, and claimed that it will be done within 72hour, and now we know it has been more than 40 days but still not done yet!! I tried to contact area managers of this very store (Ashley.Griser@charter.com and Joshua.lee@charter.com) but still not helpful. The whole refund process cannot proceed unless they can fix their system issue, and meanwhile they get to keep my money (781.09 dollars)....because of their faulty system??!!?? Can you believe this ??? Spectrum store manager (Maureen.passaro@charter.com) took the phone away on 3/18/22 and claimed that things can be resolved within a week, but still nothing happened!! What really sucks is that Spectrum customer service cannot help me neither, since it is the phone purchased at the store, not online. So the store managers (Maureen.passaro@charter.com and Ashley.Griser@charter.com and Joshua.lee@charter.com) are the only staff that can possibly help me, but so far there is nothing really happen!! read more

We decided to give spectrum mobile a try in mid- December. Worst decision. First of all the customer service in the store is terrible- employees consistently complain about Spectrum and say nothing but bad things about their employer. They need serious training to learn how to deal with customers. Also many look unprofessional and truly have no idea what they are talking about. Phone service was glitchy and slow, no way to access the wireless bill online. I made an appt and went in to upgrade my phone 3/11 and was told the old system is merging with a new system and there's no way to access my account to upgrade or do anything with my account and they have no idea when the account will be ready. This makes no sense to me and there was zero communication from Spectrum at any point to let me know this before I went in to the store. I came home and called customer service and was told the same story with no real information about time frame or what is actually going on. Absolutely horrendous customer service and I still don't understand what is taking so long or why it's taking so long. So I went to the AT&T store to discuss pricing and had amazing customer service, I took our account back there and upgraded my phone. Zero hassles, employees know what they're talking about, so helpful and quick. No amount of monthly savings is worth dealing with Spectrum. And if there was another Wi-Fi option here, we would absolutely switch. read more

If you're looking for customer service stay away from this place!! The service here was truly the poorest I've ever experienced!! My wife and I went in to purchase 2 new Apple iPhone13s and convert our service from our current carrier to Spectrum. There were 3 employees sitting at one of the high top tables by the BIG front widow right where I parked. The 3 employees watched us pull in the parking space and get out of our car and walk into the building. All three Spectrum employees, in their blue Spectrum shirts, continued to sit at their table like we weren't there. I only mention the color of their shirts to specify, these were definitely Spectrum employees! Anyway, the rest of our experience went downhill from there. Complete lack of interest in trying to accommodate our wishes. I could go on but I'm not wasting any more of my time on Spectrum! Needless to say, we walked out!! read more

1 star because you have to wait hours to drop off equipment that doesn't work. This is and has been an issue even before covid.

I had the most pleasant experience with this young man Kyle B. The store was busy and I still had his full attention. I wound up with more services for less money. He went above and beyond. read more

worst of the worst,,,service has been steadily declining year after year I am not very technically inclined but when all you do is 3 things,,how hard can that be to be somewhat reliable ?
