Spectrum Store centrally located on Chagrin Blvd in Beachwood. It's a convenient stop while you're running errands in the area (plenty of retail stores nearby) or dining in the area. It's also in very close proximity to the highway. I found myself at this store after deciding to discontinue my relationship with Spectrum after 8 years (!). I stopped in to drop off my Internet equipment. AMBIANCE: Sizeable store with limited phone inventory in the center of the store, lounge area, and checkout. I was surprised to see that the lounge area even has a big screen TV with sports. The decor is very simple and the store looks too large for what's inside. SERVICE: While I had my fair share of negative interactions with Spectrum, this was probably the most pleasant. Transactional but cordial. I quickly presented my equipment, it was verified, my ID was checked, and I was quickly on my way. PARKING: Shared plaza parking lot. Plenty of parking available. I won't be returning to this store since I'm no longer Spectrum customer. I would recommend this store to anyone who is. The service is quick and pretty nice. read more

We saw several employees when I opened the door for my sister, then I went to park the car. Three stars (or less) for lack of greeting and not coming up to my disabled sister who has difficulty walking. She has been a customer for years. When she got to the desk Nate asked for her a chair, and was very patience checking on her account and answering her questions. Ask for Nate. read more

Place opened at 10, had 6 people waiting in line, 2 people have left after 20 mins, I'm not even sure where 2nd worker went after appearing to show up late and then disappearing in back after helping 1 customer. It's been 30 mins plus. Store needs to also turn music down. It's ridiculously loud for a lobby. read more

Rachael was terrific! She was knowledgeable and efficient. Updated my internet account, switched my mobile phones and gave me options I didn't know existed. She outlined my new bill and told me exactly what I needed from my previous carrier in order to switch. When I switched, she had everything done in 15 minutes. First time in this store - walked up to two customers being served at the registers. (Empty store - No customers browsing store) - No greeting or acknowledgement from 3 service clerks. Waited in line for about 10 minutes. When it was my turn to step up, the clerk (looking directly at me) started calling off names for the next person to be helped. We (another lady had entered the store with her children and got in line behind me) interrupted the clerk and asked what she was doing. She said you had to sign in to be helped, she watched us walk in and stand in line in front of her never saying a word that we had to sign in. Spectrum is the absolute worst internet provider After 30 minutes of horrendous customer "service" involving both a low-level representative and a "manager/supervisor" --who has no qualification to call herself manager/supervisor-- I simply had to cancel my service with Spectrum. I would give a ZERO -0 if I could. We thought we were getting a deal. Old saying you get what you pay for is so true when it comes to spectrum. Customer service will tell you anything to get a sales. They told us that we would need a roku, to make it cheaper, otherwise you will have to pay more for there cable box. So they are using another company equipment and making a profit on them. You are unable to record any programs that you would want to watch. Also, you will need your TV remote to turn it off and on and for the volume. The person who installed the equipment was really good. But I wish the customer service was truthful in dealing with the purchase of their services. I wish we had the old TV = the companies now a day would try sell you crap and tell you its good for you and lie about it. I will NEVER use Spectrum again. I got their service one year ago, immediately had faulty equipment. it was a nightmare to replace. I paid my bill every single month and then a year later the equipment fails again, and they did send everything I needed. I was out of internet for a month and a half and they only offered a $10 refund- I never missed a payment but got behind this last month and they HARASSED me sending texts and calls multiple times a day and at night and on the weekends!!! and I didn't even have working service for a month and a half because of THEM!!!!! Internet is out on a weakly basis. And cable I pay for will go out for days at a time.

I'd give a zero rating but that's not a choice. I downgraded my cable services, exchanged cable boxes and still got charged the higher amount a month later. After talking to their retentions department, they had no notes of what took place last month when I called. Today's call went a little better, but, let's see what happens when I get the next bill next month. Unfortunately, I do not have another choice unless I go to satellite or thru the phone lines. Customer service is horrible. The rep outright lied to me and I lost all my favorite channels. And he told me if I didn't like the new plan, I could go back to my old plan, that was lie number 2. According to another rep, I cannot get back the channels I lost, the channels the rep said I would not lose. Will be looking for a new provider.
