This place is so bad they hire one person per 20 customers so expect to wait in line. Also I came with someone of Hispanic culture and the rep started to talk to them in Spanish about my account thinking I didn't speak Spanish although I'm the account holder (I look Asian) I proceded to whip out my fluent Spanish native skills which over killed his poor no sano kid Spanish skills. Got to the point where he couldn't hold it anymore and switched back to English. He tried to give me issues in cancelling my account stating that I can't due to whatever reasons. This place should have a sign "Asias Only" I took my mother today to exchange equipment we sing in and waited for 9 people in front of us, when we hit 3 the Asian well rounded guy keep skipping us, then I heard him called a couple of people who sing in after us, I question him why he was skipping us, he said we were next then he still help the people when it was our turn, we felt discriminated. The two stars are for the nice guy who help us and apologize for his co worker manners. Latinos should avoid this place. read more

These people who work here are rude and lazy. I have never had a pleasant experience going to Spectrum. Doesn't matter if it's the old location or this new one. It angers me every time I have to go there. They sent us a modem and we went to return it. The workers there said they don't accept it and told my parents they need to take it to the "main store", which is is actually UPS. THEIR INSTRUCTIONS FOR RETURN SAYS TO EITHER TAKE IT TO A UPS STORE, OR TAKE IT TO ANY SPECTRUM STORE. The staffs here customer service is a horrible, The worst I ever experienced in any Spectrum offices, first the officer did not go with the list of customer service, just literally let people walk up to the counter and totally ignoring people that was signed in for service, when I make a complaint to one of the officer and the answer I got from them I don't care, then the staffs not even speak English clearly and even want help customer throw it away a box that came from Spectrum itself, he came up with a stupid excuse was he had no place to handles the empty box. I was looking for a Spectrum store nearby and I'm guessing this is a new location in Alhambra? Lots of parking spaces. The store looked small but it's pretty long when you come inside. There is a tablet to check in and someone will call your name when it's your turn. You can also pay bills here at the machine in the back. I waited no more than 10 minutes and was able to return a router with no issue. They gave me a receipt for reference. I was in and out quickly. read more

I would give negative stars if I could. Chao was the person helping me out. He took a personal call before he even acknowledged my presence or ask me what I'm here for. Spectrum on the phone and in store say two different things. Apparently instead of transferring service spectrum on the phone decided to just start a new account and asked us to return equipment at a store without closing the old account. The store will not accept the equipment without closing the old account. Why am I being given different information on the phone and store? To add salt to the wound, in store it didn't show that I'm an authorized user of the account. However I'm added online, to the hills and confirmed on the phone with spectrum that I am authorized user. There is nothing more they can do to show me up on the system. Your system is broken so why are customers being punished? I will have to come to this awful location and Chao again with the primary account holder and do this over again. Why do you have to ability to add authorized users if it doesn't show up on your system and doesn't allow me to do anything anyway? And about Chao. Extremely rude - throws his hands in the air and refuses to help. No apologies or resolutions offered when the company is fucking up and has different ways of doing things in store and on the phone. Spectrum is the worst internet service I've ever had. Constant internet outages and never able to fix the problem. It's very unreliable and the price went up too. This internet service is useless and a big waste of money. I highly recommend people not to sign for Spectrum. It's only going to give you headaches and frustration. I made an appointment to activate my SIM card because there was a mix up. It was really complicated but Michael was so patient and helped me through every step. They were so busy and he was helping other costumers as much as he could while waiting for my stuff to update while other employees were only working slowly on one customer at a time. I came here to get some assistance to move my mobile phone from AT&T to Spectrum so that I can have my own mobile account instead of being bundled with my sibling in AT&T. I came here 3 times in two days. Since I made a reservation ahead of time I was able to get to the head of the line each time I entered the store, when the queue was at least 8 or 9. The store reps were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, especially the ladies. If I had all the information needed to transfer and port my number, I could have made it in one trip. There was reluctance from my sibling to release account information as advised by AT&T. But the Spectrum lady doing the porting was able to handle every difficulty and even managed to unlock my phone from AT&T and I was up and running on day 2. I must say Kudos to the reps. It is not possible to do the port from home as the lines get very busy during the day and evening and there are so many little codes to get hold of. For all those folks complaining about long waits, just make a reservation first. And for payments try doing this online. For the folks trying to bang on the sign device and claiming it does not work, be gentle, it is a touch screen. read more

Being a loyal customer for 25 plus years, I have both residential and commercial set up with Specturm internet and phone service.(Used to have cable as well). Everyone knows Specturm doesn't care for their loyal customers because Specturm just keeps raising the price. Today, I really got fed up with Specturm price and service and will definitely looking for other providers. Back in April I received commercial bill saying there is an one time charge of $8.98 for wifi on top of $90 internet service. Not including voice service. One time? So I kept the bill until I received May's billing. I have noticed the $8.98 is staying so I called it in. Guess what?!! That one time charge will be staying. Apparently the $8.98 is the cost for wifi and $90 is for internet. WHAT? If you want to raise the price, do not need to make those fancy terms. Specturm, my phone has WIFI so I don't need your wifi for my phone...I don't even know Specturm manager cares if my phone uses wifi. I am not a technician so I don't understand how everything works, but both billing and manager in charge obviously didn't care and don't want to listen. Kids are always having problems doing there homework because of the internet I have problems doing work because of the cruddy internet everyone in our house is constantly complaining because of how poor this service is. Specialist Chao Li's customer service was awful. We were there to return a router and account holder was present. After verifying the numbers, Chao requested a physical ID to verify the account. We didn't feel necessary to hand out the ID given all the information we have provided, and he refused to accept the router. He went on being very rude and literally lectured us of this is how they verify customers. I understand it may be corporate policy to verify identification, but his lack of basic communication skills should bar him from interacting with customers. Seems like I am not the only one having problem with Chao, but it appears that Spectrum simply do not care. read more
