From the front desk, to the doctors, nurses, and glasses specialist, everyone is truly fantastic. Our daughter has had eye issues since she was 8 months old (she's 3 now) which was quite shocking and upsetting as new parents. We tried multiple doctors and were not happy with the care until we found ABC children's Eye Specialists and they put us at ease and created a safe environment that our daughter actually loves. We have seen multiple doctors in this practice and each one has been gentle, kind, spent quality time with us, has been so so sweet with our daughter, and are impressively skilled doctors. These doctors don't just know the eye, they know kids and parents; and they care! Our experience each and every time we've been has been flawless. They always have good times to get us in, they are efficient with the time we are in the office, they bill insurance with ease, and they hook us up with the cutest glasses for our girl. Seriously, she looks forward to going to the eye doctor! The offices aren't anything fancy, but they have stuff for kids to play with and watch while they wait and the care they provide is the best in the valley...or maybe anywhere. Impressed is an understatement; we love ABC children's Eye Specialists and are blessed to have found it for our family.

I pulled up that we had paid the co-pay last visit so they called the billing office. They then told me it was for a service our insurance company denied. I asked to pay only the co-pay and I would work the $20 out with insurance later. They refused to see my daughter unless it was paid. I called insurance and guess what..... THERE WASNT EVEN A CLAIM! They are making up bills and fees so double check before you pay them ANYTHING. We will be seeing a practice with honest billing from here on out.

I DO NOT recommend this eye center. This was my first visit, and I only came here because I was…read morereferred by my primary care doctor. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely unprofessional and concerning. From the beginning, the front desk staff seemed uninterested in helping patients and were more focused on singing, joking around, and making fun of people. As a new patient, I had to ask how to check in because no one properly greeted or assisted me. The most concerning part was my eye dilation. Before the drops were given to me, I specifically asked if I would be safe to drive afterward, and I was told YES. When additional drops were given, I asked AGAIN if I could drive and was reassured that I would be fine. After my appointment, nobody explained what to expect from the dilation, warned me about severe light sensitivity, or gave me the protective glasses I was supposed to receive. As soon as I stepped outside, my eyes started burning badly and I could barely keep them open. I struggled just to make it to my car. When I called the office, they admitted that they FORGOT to give me the protective glasses. What made the situation even worse was the response I received when I complained. Instead of taking responsibility, I was told that I "should have known" my eyes were going to be dilated and that I should have known I needed glasses. How would I know? I was a NEW PATIENT, I had never experienced this before, and I specifically asked the medical staff TWICE whether I would be safe to drive. I ended up waiting outside for approximately TWO HOURS because I did not feel safe driving and had nobody available to pick me up. This goes beyond bad customer service. This is about patient communication and safety. Patients rely on medical professionals to explain procedures, side effects, precautions, and aftercare. A patient should never be blamed for not knowing information that the medical staff failed to provide. I am extremely disappointed with how this situation was handled, especially after I asked for help and tried to make a complaint. I hope management takes this seriously so another patient does not have the same experience. And I will also call my insurance for a compliant regarding this eye center

Came in and verified insurance, had exam, and all of a sudden, as we're ready to leave, they asked for almost $400 more than what I was told on the phone as my co-pay PLUS an additional $45 for a "contact lense training" for a new wearer. Mind you, ALL of what they did, the exam, eyeglass script, and lense fitting (with new contact lenses wearer), would have been $120 each at Costco WITHOUT insurance. They literally LIED to me to guilt me to pay SOMETHING saying they could lose their license if I did not pay for service rendered or if they gave a discount. Not to mention, they were running late and the entire visit lasted longer than a typical Costco visit. What a waste of time and now I have to keep my fingers crossed that I can take my vision benefits to Costco in order to get a contact lens fitting without having to pay twice. Better frame selection at Costco and Eyeglass world as well as other shops.

I visited, rcvd my eye exam, & ordered new glasses on April 23, 2025 The time it took to receive my new lenses was longer than any vision outfit I've ever dealt with...over two weeks, & I'm 75 yrs old! When they arrived my regular lense glasses were fine. My sunglasses were a disaster. A small sliver of the lens just above the bifocal was accurate. The entire top half of the lens was out of focus. The bifocal was so low I had to tilt my head back to even use them. That was two weeks ago. It is June 2, 2025 as of this writing. I called AECC this morning for the status of my reconfigured sunglasses. The CSR could not even tell me if or when they'd be shipped! This is by far the worst new glasses purchase I've ever had. Who knows when I'll have my new sunglasses...properly made? I really loved the staff & the opthalmologist. This review pains me.
