They got him taken care of without him going into meltdown mode, like he has at other places. They also handled our other dog with great care, which wasn't easy, as he's huge ( 72 lbs.) and still a puppy. Very hyper & became uneasy , started growling when he saw everyone in a small space. They were great with him & we were done in no time. Plus, they have a big selection of pet food, toys, all supplies needed for the furry members of your family! Highly recommended!

He goes on to say that I need to go home and plant my grass seed, we can worry about weeds in the spring. Time is running out. So I did. Honesty goes a long way. This wasn't true. The dog not only had anemia but giardia, a highly contagious parasite that is dangerous to other animals (like our cat) and people. The presence of giardia is detectable weeks before symptoms show up. Within 48 hours of bringing the dog home, we had to take him to an emergency vet and ultimately return him because of his illnesses (among other reasons). They couldn't even get the dog's age right. They said he was five -- he's only a year old. The staff is absolutely clueless. We spent hundreds on vet bills in the two weeks we had him, and they didn't even offer to refund our adoption fee.

I needed bird food for my two large parrots and I didn't want to go on the long drive to Castleton where we usually shop for our bird supplies. I do not recommend this business. My 13yo daughter and I walked into this business and was greeted nicely. I asked if they had bird supplies was told they were in the isle I just passed. The woman stated that she did not have any millet because the resident cat used it for kitty litter. She said she was "thankful she didn't sell it to anyone" and that "she could KILL the cat". I was oddly taken back by that comment. My daughter and I continued to make our selection as I really wanted to get my supplies and get out of there. Then I hear her say, "I look RETARDED with my sleeve up from digging in the fishbowl." I was really bothered by that statement especially since my daughter was with me. She has Autism! Needless to say, we will not be shopping at that business ever again. Oh, and the food I did get is infested with these beetles....freaking GROSS.... Please note, the bug infestation "happens" that is not really the problem here, it is the fact that this owner is the most unprofessional business owner I have come across. My fur kids just had their first slumber party here and had a great time! This place is CLEAN and…read morehas no pet odor whatsoever! (How in the world?!) I boarded 3 pups for 2 nights and 1 day. The staff graciously allowed me to board my 2 chihuahuas in the same kennel and my Brussels griffon in his own space. They even let me put the chihuahuas' own crate from home in their kennel to help them feel more comfortable. My griffy was allowed to use his own bed from home, too, so he had some familiar smells to keep him cozy. The kennels each contain a raised cot bed in the indoor heated/air conditioned part, and then the staff has a handy sliding door they can raise to allow the pups some outdoor play time. Each kennel has its own personal paved patio, lawn area, and as a bonus it's all covered and fenced in for them. The property itself is HUGE and so peaceful! They offer sweet add-on's like nature walks, play-time, and grooming. (I greatly appreciated that when the staff tried to walk my chihuahua, she noticed that he was uncomfortable so she picked him up to carry him back to his kennel and then didn't bill me for the nature walk. Thank you for being so attentive to my Rambo's needs!!!!) Overall, you can really tell this business takes pride and ownership of their responsibilities to your entrusted fur family. By the pictures of fur-customers in their lobby, you can tell they treat each critter like family. The staff even takes the time to enter notes on each pet's profile to report back to you and save for their future visits. She had pics of my pups at pickup to show me how happy they were during their stay. Thanks for taking such great care of my pups! Rambo, Dixie, and Benny will definitely be back for more slumber parties! (FYI... as of this date, the website attached to its Yelp profile goes to a different kennel. Our dog had NO RED MARKS when we left her to be groomed. I have groomed dogs myself & I know a RAZER BURN when I see one!! She HURTS your animal then tries to cover it up with LIES!!!! I messaged her after I got home & told her we KNEW they were RAZER BURNS and were sure she knew too! She continued to deny it. I also looked for other reviews when I got home & found that she has injured other animals & has no remorse for it!! NEVER AGAIN!! SHE LIES & IS UNRELIABLE!! The price is unbelievably low; It is cheaper than Priority Boarding's dog daycare, and you get your dog groomed, that's nails and all. We always tip her well, because she is worth every penny. During their last grooming visit, our 14-year-old Yorkie became sick with loose stool. She had to bathe both dogs multiple times before we arrived to pick them up. She did not ask for a dime more, but I paid her more, because it was an unforeseen event.
