We take the cat there to hopefully get her all clean and brushed out, but because of how her fur is, it looked like she had flea dirt. So she turned us away, I'll give her that she was polite and clear with us that the cat needed a bath and some treatment. She didn't, her fur is literally multi colored, we bathed her today and combed her five different times in her bath once before and after brushing out loose fur, twice in the bath while we were washing her off and once after and we found no trace of fleas or flea dirt. Now she's clean, we're both aching bc I have back issues, my friend is chronically ill, and the cat is clean as a whistle and pissed at us for taking two hours to clean her. I wasn't sure if it was because we laid out the cats issues of being new to bathing and she has some anxiety and attitude when it came to other people she didn't know but it wouldn't have taken long to have looked at her coat and been understanding of that she's a thick coated cat that was in need of some bathing because she can't reach anywhere but her paws

Unfortunately, they've implemented new policies that have completely changed that. I realized I had forgotten my personal shampoos and brushes, so I left to get them and returned later. When I returned the second trip, I immediately began being told about their new policies. I was informed that I was no longer allowed to use the blow dryers before the wash, and they stated that they are an "in-between" dog wash station, so I don't know why they have the blowout machines if you can't use them. I even offered to pay for all three wash stalls so I wouldn't inconvenience anyone else, but they still refused. I was also told there is now a 30-minute time limit. I explained that I was willing to pay for additional time if needed, but that wasn't an option either. I understand businesses need policies, but these rules make the self-serve dog wash impractical for anyone with multiple dogs or for owners who like to properly dry and groom their pets. What was once a convenient and welcoming service has become unnecessarily restrictive. Because of these absurd policies, I chose not to use their facilities that day and will no longer be returning to Hollywood Feed. It's disappointing to lose a place I had been a loyal customer of for so long.

They don't usually carry the cheaper foods you might find at big box stores but you will find mid grade to higher quality foods and supplements which I prefer. The staff at the stores are generally great. Always polite and professional but not all of them know a ton about products. There supply is one person though at each store that's an expert, just gotta find them. They have nice and great priced dog wash stations which I use often. And I think most have in house groomers as well if you need that service. Parking here at this location can be tough. I suggest just going to the parking areas to the south towards the furniture store as the north lot is tiny and usually packed.
