We moved from AZ/SD and typically would wash him at my parents vet hospital. We washed him with the shampoo provided, rinsed and dried him. All seemed great till 3 days after he had a huge bacterial infection all over his skin!!! After speaking with my parents (veterinarians) and doing a skin scrape we believe it was contracted from the refill shampoo bottles not being properly sanitized between clients plus having diluted soap sit in them for 24 hours or more. For $17 and a giant infection that needs antibiotics even 3 weeks after going and contracting this I do not recommend the washing stations.

My cat had broken 2 others already, trying to escape on trips to the vet. I mentioned that I was looking for something escape-proof and he let me browse, but let me know that I could bring it back and they would work with me if it didn't work. Even though it was expensive, I'm happy to report that it did work and I got my cat to the vet and back without any escapes. Even the vet was impressed because it had a little zipper top so you can reach your hand in to pet your cat and help keep them calm. I'm not sure it that feature is for the cat or the human, but it made me feel better too. I didn't browse anything else, but it looked like they offered lots of healthy-focused pet foods. They also had a table with adorable dog biscuits by the checkout. It's a small store overall, but it's very convenient if you're shopping at the nearby Kroger like I was.

The place is nice and open, not too crowded lots of options all over the place, which makes my dog wander around, smelling everything, but most of it is not able to be, eaten on the spot. Everyone that seems to go there is very polite and make sure to keep control of their pets. While I was there three other people washed their dogs and everybody seemed to walk away happy especially the puppies that walked out with a treat at the end. It was much easier than at home to wash the dog (no mess) and with the food, treats, accessories for your pet, it really makes it a nonstop shop in a pretty good location.

First, I want to make it clear that this review is not about Reagan. She has always done an amazing job grooming Mya, and I have never had any complaints about the care she has provided. She has always been kind and professional. My concern is with the owner and the way this situation was handled. After one of Mya's grooming appointments at Bath and Beyond Pet Salon, she unexpectedly became pregnant while in the salon's care. We only discovered she was pregnant when she went in to be spayed, and because she was in the early stages of pregnancy, the pregnancy had to be terminated during her surgery. I want to emphasize that I was never angry about the situation. My first call to the salon wasn't to complain or demand anything. I called simply to let the owner know what had happened and to have an honest conversation about how this could have occurred, what their policies are, and what steps they take to supervise the dogs in their care. I genuinely wanted reassurance because I had every intention of continuing to bring Mya there. I just wanted to know that the dogs are being properly watched and that the business would be transparent about a serious incident like this. What has been most disappointing is that despite my call, I have never received a phone call or any communication from the owner. There has been no discussion about how this happened, no explanation of their policies or procedures, and no reassurance that changes have been made to help prevent something like this from happening again. Accidents can happen, but how a business responds afterward speaks volumes. The complete lack of communication and accountability has been incredibly disappointing. I am not writing this review to attack anyone personally, especially not Reagan. I am writing it because I believe pet owners deserve transparency, accountability, and the reassurance that their pets are being properly supervised while in someone else's care. You are expected to complete an application prior to meeting an animal that you may be interested in. Then you're expected to wait four to five days for an appointment to meet and greet the pet. Then come back later if you have any other animals for he had another meet and greet . They do not inform you that this is not a guarantee they're going to hold this pet for you. So in our case the dog we were waiting to see was adopted out .
