Each equipment class has only 5 people max so you always get lots of individual attention and support. I love how attentive they are to every client, making sure you're doing the exercises properly so you're being safe and getting the maximum benefit. I continued going through most of my pregnancy and they were extremely accommodating with modifications for me. I can't say enough good things about this studio. Go!!

At one point while doing roll ups without cues at all I was struggling to see what others were doing and I actually heard the instructor laugh at me. Then at the end she didn't even ask how the class went, she just said that will be $40 glad I could get you in. I just wish the instructor didn't have the class open to the public or had let me know she wouldn't be doing a lot of instruction during the class because all I heard were the ladies chit chatting and the instructor softly counting in the background. It works for them, but it didn't work for me.

I met Sandra at the Resolute Brewing 1 yr anniversary and had no idea what pilates exactly is…read more Pilates is a little like yoga as far as mind and body, but it focuses on a total body workout and movement efficiency while keeping its main focus of keeping the integrity of the spine. Sandra had me try the pilates chair and while she makes the movement look so simple, it is super difficult and involves so much core; Sandra makes it look effortless and that is what I want to be as far as fitness goals. Sandra went into great detail about how to do the pilates chair correctly with hand and feet placement as well as describing how your head, knees, and ankles need to be in order to ensure a full body workout. Because Sandra also specializes in pain management as well as working and re-working your pain receptors, she noticed immediately that I need more strength in my feet, which I don't disagree with. I signed up on the spot and can't wait for my first session!! Sandra also does P-DTR (proprioceptive deep tendon reflex), which is used to correct faulty movement patterns. ie: gait, which is one of the primary reasons I signed up.

WOW! This lady knows what she's doing! I came to Sandra 2…read moreyears ago because I was suffering from debilitating shin splints (keep in mind I've always suffered from them). It was so bad that I could barely walk, let alone run. I went to Sandra after I had heard how great she was from mutual friends, she muscle tested me and used P-DTR to determine what was causing my shin splints. After 2 short sessions of her working on my shins, they pain went completely away! I was able to run again, after not being able to do so for months. She corrected my muscles and stimulated them so they would work properly again. Ever since she worked on me, I have not suffered from shin splints. Thank you Sandra!!!!

It is an elegant, spotless, friendly studio with supportive, highly skilled instructors dedicated to helping you strengthen, lengthen and tone. All of the group classes at Pilates Plus are very challenging, but in a good way because you leave the studio feeling amazing and accomplished. All the instructors are fabulous- very attentive and extremely knowledgable. Class size is small, which is wonderful because you really receive that extra attention so you can perfect your form. The owner, Jess Taylor has been my Pilates instructor nearly 4 years. After more orthopedic surgeries than I care to post, it is because of her knowledge, experience and caring approach to her clients, that I can do absolutely everything that I love to do in a body that is strong and balanced even with all the new parts. She has taught me how my body is supposed to work mechanically and how to optimize what I do and how I do it to keep it working that way. My daughter and my friends have equally benefited from the good that happens working with Jess. So happy she's in the hood now - can't wait to try out all the fun new classes at the Ground too!!
