I've been a patient twice before so when I started experiencing pain in my right hip, knee and ankle, I requested a referral from my PCP. Spenser evaluated my issues and found that my right leg was shorter than the other as well as identifying the possible causes of my pain. Over the course of 6 weeks six both Spenser and Alex provided physical therapy exercises and within a very short period of time my endurance and gait improved significantly and my hip, knee and ankle pain improved significantly. I also have experienced great results from the at-home exercises. I will be discharged tomorrow, 8/13/26 and couldn't be happier with my results. I have received physical therapy at Functional Performance Physical Therapy, 6169 S. Balsam Way, for core strengthening, focusing on stabilizing the spine and pelvis through targeted, progressive exercises that engage deep abdominal, back, and hip muscles. Having fallen several times, with and without my walker, I have been in and out of physical therapy for the past fourteen years. I have a total lumbar fusion, two total knee replacements, an index finger surgery in which I nearly lost it, three abdominal surgeries, and am obese. Since moving to Littleton, CO, from Wisconsin in 2024, I have been on continuous oxygen therapy 24/7 for COPD. Additionally, I have neuropathy in both feet and lymphedema, and I underwent vascular surgery on both legs within the past year. I use tactile compression boots on my legs and feet daily and often wrap them with Ace bandages. The therapists here are brilliant! I am very impressed with their knowledge and skills, and my primary care doctor is equally pleased with their practice. I had Rebecca and Tom for most of the first fifteen months. Tom consistently monitored my oxygen levels because I wasn't on oxygen therapy until he diagnosed that I needed it. My oxygen levels stayed at 80-83 for a few sessions, and I began feeling weak and faint. He told me I needed my doctor to check me and prescribe oxygen so I could raise my level above 90. I am very grateful to him because my previous primary care doctor was less than satisfactory. I made an appointment with a pulmonologist at the National Jewish Health Center in Denver, where I was sent home with an oxygen canister the same day. Shortly after, I found a new primary care doctor. I returned after a couple of weeks and continued my sessions with Tom and a student field experience associate for a few months. After a five-month break, I have returned to Functional Performance and am starting to focus on my back and legs. Tom is no longer at this location, so I have seen Rebecca and Alex. Rebecca reassessed me and assigned me to Alex for the coming weeks. He did an excellent job warming up my back muscles and legs. Then, he guided me through the exercises Rebecca had assigned on my first day back. I am keeping a daily workout log and sending it to my daughter via SMS to stay motivated. I can't say enough great things about the care I received from Functional Performance Center of Littleton. The whole office and front desk staff are very warm and welcoming and were always trying to fit me in if the week of appointments was full. I so appreciate the expert eye of Spencer to be able to diagnosis the issues and to recommend the exercises and the treatment I needed to help with my tight muscles and weird gait after two hip surgeries. I have had a nagging calf problem occur while playing soccer for a couple of year and after getting referred here by my doctors, I've been very happy with my care thus far. The initial exam to pinpoint the exact problem felt very technical and precise and the on going care I've received since then has been great too. I unfortunately suffered a pretty good sprained ankle about a month into my care but my team here did excellent pivoting to address the new problem. From the initial sprain where the appointments were half massaging the swelling out, half light ankle exercises, to now where I'm focusing on excersises to get myself ready for a return to sport, my care has adapted well with where I'm at in my recovery, and my team has done great letting me know what is going on and why I'm doing what I'm doing. They also have a nice web interface that you can check up on to see what home excersises you should be doing to help your recovery. All in all, I have found a new go to PT place! I just completed PT for Sciatica with FPC and was extremely pleased with the results! I would highly recommend them to anyone needing physical therapy! They helped me rebuild my strength and stability in my back and leg and taught me what exercises I need to continue at home to maintain my progress and hopefully prevent another injury. I worked with Spenser and Tom. They were both tremendously helpful! They were very patient, understanding and they both have great personalities. And the icing on the cake for me was the additional help I received from Tom diagnosing or at least getting some answers to another issue that I had been dealing with for a few years now since I had lung surgery. I recently completed several weeks of therapy with Rebecca, and I couldn't be happier. She got me through a very stubborn frozen shoulder and reduced the pain I've been experiencing to almost nil. I actually looked forward to our appointments, where she did manipulations, and taught me exercises to do at home. I had wasted several weeks going to a different therapy company prior to coming to Functional Performance, where I hadn't made any progress. Thankfully, I noticed this place after visiting a nearby provider. It was neat, calm, clean and Meagan at the front desk was very helpful in answering my questions. I needed PT, but after a bad experience elsewhere was not only reluctant but had no idea where to go for a better experience. I found a great people at FPC. Both Molly and Dave have been great in working to help me build strength and flexibility and range of motion for both my rotator cuff tear and pre/post knee replacement. They are both knowledgeable and encouraging which has helped me to get better for both issues. I strongly recommend FPC and wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

The center is focused on my health and improving my injuries. I've worked with different therapists for my hip and my shoulder. They've provided me with exercises and I've seen significant improvements. My hip isn't 100%, but is allowing me to run again. My swimmers shoulder is improving too. They did dry needling on my shoulder which provided significant relief. They definitely are focused on my recovery. I definitely recommend the facility and the therapist team. read more

I was give a referral by my Dr. for a neck issue I was having. The staff is professional I was starting to get relief after 3 weeks my last appointment was on a Friday my therapist told me to set up 3 appointment for the next week. Before you start treatment, make sure you are covered by your insurance. I was told by their male receptionist that I was covered totally. After six treatments, I got my explanation of benefits from Cigna, and treatment was totally out of pocket! $55-60 a session is too expensive for a half hour session. read more

I have used their services after my auto accident for 9 months, everything was fine until a year and a half later I received a 120 day past due notice for $150. My accident case was already closed so I could not charge it back to my insurance and when I called the office I was told that the charges were pending with my insurance up until June which is a year since my last appointment! And obviously I was not 120 days past due as it stated but that's that, too bad so sad. read more
