I first contacted Amanda to help me create a strength training program to address my osteoporosis. I had seen another PT previously who was not very helpful, but since my son raved about how Amanda helped him with a soccer injury I decided to give her a try. What a difference! She took the time to throughly evaluate my weaknesses and created a plan that not only targeted my needs, but fit my goals and lifestyle as well. All the while she explained what she recommended, why, and answered all my questions. Amanda got me strong enough to return to my favorite classes at the gym. I now have training plans for home and for working out at the gym so I can continue to progress no matter what life brings. Later on I was having trouble with knee pain while running. Amanda diagnosed my Runner's Knee and gave me home exercises to resolve the muscle inbalance. I am now running pain free. Just recently I again asked Amanda for help with leg pain that turned out to be an overuse injury. She went out of her way to fit me into her busy schedule, which was fabulous because I was miserable! She treated the injury in two sessions, instructed me on how to prevent it from happening again, and even checked with me via email to make sure I was doing okay! I am now back to my favorite activities without pain (but a little smarter). I can't say enough good things about Amanda. Her knowledge is exceptional, and therapy sessions are upbeat and effective. January 2018 I slipped down two sets of frozen stairs. In bracing my fall I incurred a shattered wrist and badly torn rotator cuff and bicep tendon. After my wrist surgery it was highly suggested I work with an Occupational therapist. With great fortune I was referred to Peak Physical Therapy in Littleton. Living in Castle Rock I would obviously have opted to go to a therapy center closer to home but took the referral. It was the best decision I made. I met with the Director that specialized in OT - Lyle McKissick. I cannot explain enough how patient he was explaining my therapy in lay terms and what to expect with my therapy gaining use of my wrist. Lyle's mannerism, knowledge and expertise not only impressed me but reassured my decision to visit Peak Physical Therapy. His entire staff exceeded my expectations. Everyone was so supportive, kind, efficient and knowledgeable about my therapy. Going forward I then returned to Peak Orthopedics for surgery on my rotator cuff and bicep tendon. Feeling very confident with the therapy I received for my wrist I once again opted to return to Peak Physical Therapy. Again, I have been more than pleased with the therapy received from Lyle, Michelle and Katie. Considering I am a repeat customer I feel I can give a fair and accurate review. I came into Peak Physical Therapy for my jaw because of major TMJ and misplacement of both discs on each side. (I had an unfortunate wisdom teeth removal surgery 9 years ago that injured my jaw). I was under the impression that I needed surgery for what I had been suffering from for almost 10 years and little did I know I'd be fixed in 2 months with the help of a physical therapist/Dr. who specializes in TMJ. Dr. Lyle McKissick turned my unusable jaw into a working jaw. After a long 2 months of going twice a week and having my jaw physically worked on, stretched, dry needling, exercises at home, etc., I was finally able to open my jaw (without any pain, snap, crackle, pops, OR manipulating it open) and eat a cupcake without having to lick the icing off first. It was a turning point in my life that I'll never forget and am so thankful that all the hard work paid off! I can eat normally now and I don't have the constant pain I had for SO long. I would recommend Dr. Robl and the staff at Peak Physical Therapy to anyone needing therapy of any kind. I recently had a total knee replacement and Dr. Robl took the time to evaluate my post-op and set up a comprehensive recovery plan to fit my abilities and schedule. His focus was entirely on my progress and recovery and not on the "administrative" side of things. He let me come in early to my later appointments and do my warm-ups so that all of his time would be spent on doing hands-on training with me. When my at-home therapy company dropped the ball and took a week just to verify my insurance, I was behind schedule and my leg had accumulated 7 times the normal amount of fluid and swelling. Within 2 sessions, Dr. Robl had helped me to alleviate the pain and discomfort and reduce the swelling. When I went in for my 4 week follow up with my surgeon, he said that I was a week to 10 days ahead of schedule for movement and swelling. I would highly recommend Dr Christopher Robl and his team at Peak PT. Chris has a wide range of knowledge in a variety of therapy techniques. I am an advocate of PT over chiropractic therapy but Chris has the skills to satisfy both. He assessed my pain and PT needs first ( personal and individual care) then implemented the therapies best suited to my symptoms. I had an adjustment that fixed one pain issue immediately then dry needling and soft tissue manipulation tackled some stubborn tight muscles.. Chris also targeted my posture which I didn't realize was a source of my problems but he did. Then I was given tools and excercises to continue my recovery on my own. When I started it was exhausting just to hold my head up at the end of the day. Now my neck and upper back are feeling great again which in turn has given me more energy. Thanks Dr Chris and Cam. But, let's talk about the real MVP, Dr. Katie Sasser, a powerhouse physical therapist who truly changes lives. She is a PT that really listens to you, provides the best catered services for you and your needs, and makes you feel so safe and comfortable. You can tell that helping people is her passion and that she is absolutely talented at what she does. I struggled with horrible period pain for many years and after just a few sessions with Katie, years of pain miraculously melted away. I am forever grateful for her... and not only does she have a gift for changing her patients' lives, she is also a hilarious, kind, and genuinely compassionate human with a heart of gold. The service I received at Peak was so good that I had to leave a review. Following my shoulder surgery, I did not know what to expect on the road to my recovery. Becca was my common thread through my journey and my recovery angel. She treated my physical recovery with clinical diligence but also encouraged me along the way. The treatment plan of exercises and stretches worked great and was supplemented by some dry needling all delivered in the same office. While Becca was the primary care giver, I had great experience with several others the clinic because of the flexibility I needed in scheduling appointments around work. They all worked from the same record and did not miss a beat. Even then front desk was super friendly, fast response to last minute scheduling changes and great with receipts to feed the unending requirements from insurance card. I went to Peak Physical Therapy following joint replacement surgeries on both knees last fall. I could not have asked for better treatments from all whom I saw while having 2-3 sessions a week from August to December of 2020. Jamie was very kind and super qualified to address my needs and listened closely as I had some other unrelated symptoms that impacted my exercise routines. I had sessions with several of the PTs, Lyle and Chris and both were knowledgeable and thoughtful with my care plan. I had major surgery June 8, 2017. I had an enormous amount of spine surgery. I had fusions from the sacrum all the way up to the thoracic area. Also I had Spondylolisthesis L5-S1, spinal stenosis, scoliosis and more problems. I could list more problems. I was admittedly surprised when the clinic reached out to me to schedule as soon as they received my insurance referral. Scheduling was easy and I received reminders for all office visits. I went to Peak Physical Therapy & Wellness for pelvic floor therapy which can be invasive and awkward. Dr. Sasser made the experience extremely comfortable and natural. She was concerned with my long term goals and gave me both short term and long term exercises to keep me moving toward my goals. She helped to address my symptoms as well as the underlying cause. To treat a nagging shoulder injury, my orthopod recommended PT. I selected Peak Physical Therapy Highlands Ranch from among the on-line choices, and can't say enough good things about them. Dr. Anna Reynolds was my primary -- very professional and capable, but at the same time friendly and fun for the one-hour sessions. When away, she was ably backed up by Levi Wilson and Dr. Amanda. The treatments were successful within the time allotted by the orthopod. The office staff handled things well, and there were no surprises with the billing. The office received my referral late in the day on a Friday. I received a call and had an appointment for the following Monday. Office staff has been very efficient and pleasant to work with. I have been seeing Tom for planters fasciitis. He explained the structure of my foot and the supporting muscles in my legs and calf that contribute to my problem. He listens to how my assigned exercises are going at home and has changed them according to my progress. Peak was amazing. The therapists were professional and I liked that they had me work with different therapists who added their own ideas to my care. Grant is a genius. I had a meniscus repair on my knee and fell hard on that knee 6 weeks after surgery. Grant evaluated the knee, modified the exercises, and was very thoughtful and focused on my particular concerns. This is my third time at Peak Physical Therapy following back surgeries. My therapists Becca and Jamie got the right treatments and exercises in and out of the facility so that within six weeks I am able to continue my exercise classes I was doing before the back surgery. Had a recent reoccurrence of pain left scapula area that radiated down my left arm. Have a H/O spinal stenosis, and surgery is a LAST resort. Dr. Lyle came to the rescue!
