Amazing care. This place breaks the mold of what a lot of rehab places could never attain. Most others are low to no care. Sooo refreshing their people, place and processes they have keep things humming, efficient and amazingly effective. They are head and shoulders above Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) and am super impressed with the doctors and therapists there. Don't waste your time with SNFs--which are a waste of time and awful experience (bad food, light weight/non-existent therapy, poorly managed). This was my home for about 10 days after an amputation last month. The team did a brilliant job getting me ready to return home. Man, I fly up and down the stairs right now thanks to the technique learned. Shhh, don't tell my therapist, but I do now take two steps at a time going down the stairs. From the medical staff to the therapists, the team was A+++. There seems to be a culture of service at the company that carries through everyone. I'm missing all of these people asking me how everything is going and if I need anything at home. I may even have to admit I enjoyed the 7:00 am therapy sessions (I'm not a morning person). Only observation was that as a diabetic the food was a tiny bit challenging. The team however was always ready to replace a dish if needed. read more

The care from the physicians, nurses, patient technician and physical was excellent. They took gòod care of my son, Andre with their experience. The physical therapy staff were patient with Andre, but had him do every task, which has help him walk better at home. Dr. Portnoy, was like the doctor's in the old days, he came to see Andre at 8 pm. He gave a lot of advise for his care plan at home with his breathing. Excellent 5 Stars In addition, the dietary staff planned and prepared delicious meals, even the low cal foods were good. 5 Star from entrance to release. When one does not have the ability to check out the place where you need to be and it is assigned. I didn't know what to expect. Needless to say, Encompass exceeded ALL my expectations if I had one. I was treated like something I didn't receive at a hospital when I landed in the ER. They took what was an undesirable experience and took it to the TOP of Grand treatment. I've had the misfortune of being in many hospitals, and this experience was THE MOST enjoyable, fun, and pleasant experience in this type of setting one could ever hope to have. The whole staff, were so open to communication and that is perhaps what was the most enjoyable to me. For every pleasant contact, I gave them a little stone heart indicating. how pleased I was. Initially hesitant about a rehab facility, but WOW! This place is a MUST after major surgery. Highly attentive staff, modern facilities and equipment, very professional and thorough PT and OT daily services. This place is an absolute must transitioning from in-hospital care to real world again. They care as in a hospital setting, and push and educate you to strengthen your muscles and balance to get back on your own. They have in-house cafe meals as well. Great experience. read more

I had the need for this type of care following a fall and a hospital visit. The experience was so extraordinary that I went there after a second fall. The nurses were attentive 24/7. The therapy was excellent, the place was full of light and very clean, the therapy equipment was in excellent shape, and the food was unrivaled. Next time I need a place like that I'll go there. I have experience with another place and that experience left me with a very bad taste in my mouth. So I can truly speak with authority when I give Encompass this glowing recommendation. read more

Released from a long stay in a hospital and was advised by doctors, nurses and PT to go to Encompass for a couple of weeks for intense physical rehab. At first Encompass agreed to take me . They were notified by my hospital that I could barely get out of bed on my own and needed a walker and assistance to get part way down the hospital hallway. Encompass suddenly withdrew the admittance saying "I was too strong" and didn't need PT. I'm too weak to use stairs, get up from most chairs and walk on my own except for 10-20 feet using a walker. I was sent home and must rely on friends to do things for me. And yet, Encompass says I don't need physical therapy. Would you trust them to care for your loved one? read more

My dad was here for rehab. While he received good therapy that really helped, the rest of the staff and the quality of care is questionable. We had issues since the very beginning, starting with the patient liaison at Littleton Hospital. She answered all of our questions but turns out she provided misinformation about current practices in the rehab hospital. Don't trust her. We made our medical decisions based on this information and after we found out the truth, we questioned our decisions. Also, she provided that she would set up communications between my parents and provide more information about some of the logistics. She never followed through nor responded. This is just the beginning of the poor communication with this facility. There are not clear communication channels established between employees and families. Medical and treatment decisions were being made without our consultation. We would call multiple times for status and often no one picked up the phone. In other cases, we called several times asking if items were delivered to my dad, and employees stated that they will get back to her. Yet, no one returned calls or followed up. My dad was a fall risk and there were alarms on his bed and his chair to notify the nursing staff. During one phone call, he got up three times and the alarms went off. Thankfully, he was relieving himself or adjusting positions. Yet, no staff came in to check on him. These problems were compounded by the facility not allowing visitors due to COVID. We were initially fine with no visits in order to minimize the chance of COVID. However the lack of communication and lack of attention to the family and the patient's care outside of therapy, made us question this decision. COVID has been occurring since March 2020 and my dad was receiving care in early 2021. The fact that clear communication channels and processes are not set up for family members to stay informed of their loved ones care is unacceptable. read more

We were visiting friends in Denver for 5 days and due to and fall ended up staying 4 weeks. We checked out a number of Therapy rehabilitations facilities and Encompasses exceeded our expectations. We arrived helpless and in 12 days we left with confidence capabilities to return home and begin out patient thereby. This is place y want to take your love ones to. My son was here after breaking his ankle. Everyone is wonderful. They really work with you and the family to make sure you are safe going home. I know they are short handed, but they do an excellent job with the staff they have. My son also loved their food. They have better cooks there then what I can do at home. This is place is wonderful. Everyone was so nice and professional from the doctors, nurses, CNAs, therapists all the way down to the cafeteria workers. The physical and occupational therapy is top-notch, couldn't have asked for better care. You don't want to have to go to this place, but if you have major injury that needs rehab, this is the one to go to. I was very impressed by everything. My week and a half stay was comfortable and productive. Highly recommend if you're in need of a rehabilitation hospital in the Denver area. read more

My mother had a recent stay at Encompass Rehab hospital after suffering a stroke that left her weak on her left side and with problem swallowing. A gal came and spoke to us at the hospital which started our journey into what I'd stroke rehabilitation. We looked at our options between nursing home rehabilitation and this inpatient rehabilitation hospital. We are so grateful we chose Encompass. They were there for us from the very start. Helping us at Littleton hospital into the Encompass hospital. We met great people there everyone from the marketing director answering questions to the nurses Jarod in particular was fantastic. We had so much attention from Dr Miller to Savanah our case manager. The therapists were all remarkable and caring paying attention to every step of my moms stroke healing.
