Being able to do things without pain has been so amazing. I went on a trip and knew that I wouldn't have been able to do a lot of the things I did without Pilates. I have flat feet and an extra bone in one foot. My whole body is misaligned because of it and I have had several injuries that are exacerbated by the severe pronation. Working out has always been difficult, pulling muscles easily, spraining my ankles constantly, and knees slipping out of place with barely any force. Pilates has made it possible for me to strengthen, align, and improve every part of my body, allowing me to live a more functional life, all while in grippy ankle socks. I can't wait to see how the next six months go! The instructors are really nice as well and the community is amazing. Emily, I know it's early for a review. I've been loving all of my small group and zoom classes here!…read more Brian and Danielle have been great instructors on all of the equipment (I've taken classes on reformer, tower and chair), and I've gotten to try out so many new movements with them. As someone who has previous pilates experience, it's so refreshing to come to a studio where the teachers actually value and teach good form, while making sure you get a good workout and follow social distancing (masks on, everything's disinfected, windows open, etc.). At the same time, there's a great balance for beginners to get comfortable with the movements and equipment, since classes are so small. I brought a friend to her first equipment class a few weeks ago and she had a great time, too. Over zoom, I've had a blast with Dana and Brian. I wasn't really a fan of mat pilates classes before, but they've both taught me new equipment-free exercises and exercises with resistance bands that have helped me stay strong at home.

So when I noticed a Pilates studio in Park Hill, I was intrigued but hesitant. There ARE windows facing Kearney St, but the people inside didn't seem to be on display. Somehow I talked myself into it, and I'm very glad I did! If you've never done Pilates before, they require you to take 5 private sessions, but the good news is you can actually take them with a friend and it's cheaper. It's well worth it to get an idea of what in the world you're doing before you start taking classes. But even the classes are maximum 5-6 people! You never feel like you're in competition with the others in the class, and the instructors and office manager are very helpful and nice -- you'll never get a "what the hell are YOU doing here" vibe from them. Women of ALL ages and fitness levels are all welcome. They even have prenatal Pilates, too. You can see their rates on their website, which I appreciated. You also schedule classes online, which is easy.... ...except they have very few classes, and like I said they're small, and so you have to put yourself on waiting lists all the time. Since I'm trying to stick with my mom it's really really tricky to find a class with two open spaces! The waiting list does tend to work, though, and they call you when you get the spot. Bottom line is, if you're thinking about taking up Pilates, I highly recommend this studio. Oh, and when you're done you can go two doors down to Perk Hill and treat yourself to Liks ice cream.

All of the instructors have been incredible. Emily and Kim truly have the magic touch with these studios. I've been practicing for 5 months and have seen my body change in ways I've never seen by just going to the gym. My body is stronger, more flexible and overall having a bit of a glow-up haha. I honestly can't say enough good things about this studio. I originally started in their rehab class since I'm still recovering from ACL + medial/lateral meniscus surgery (about 10 months post-op). From day one, Pri was incredibly welcoming and attentive. They adjusted movements when needed and made sure I felt safe while still being challenged. Pri (the owner and instructor on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays) is full of energy, hilarious, and such a joy to work with. She'll hype you up but also push you in the best way. Her classes are upbeat, motivating, and you'll definitely feel it the next day. Alyssa is another amazing instructor extremely knowledgeable and precise. She's great with cues and constantly reminds you to engage your core, fix your form, and move with intention. You can tell both Pri and Alyssa are true professionals not just instructors with a quick certification. You're genuinely getting your money's worth here. One thing I LOVE is the small class size (only 6 people). You get real individual attention, hands-on corrections, and personalized guidance. It feels supportive, not overwhelming. The studio is clean, organized, and everyone wipes down equipment after class, which I appreciate. The vibe is welcoming, and while I'll be honestI felt a little out of place at first since I didn't know anyone. once I started seeing familiar faces, I felt totally comfortable. Everyone is kind and encouraging. Pilates isn't cheap anywhere, but for me this is 100% worth the investment. I have the unlimited monthly membership because this has become such an important part of my routine. I genuinely look forward to class every day. I travel a lot for work and have tried Pilates studios in other cities and honestly? No comparison. This studio doesn't play around. You WORK here. But don't let that scare you they adapt movements, meet you where you are, and help you grow. I was completely lost at first and now I feel stronger and more confident every week. It's also a woman-owned business, which I love supporting. Every time I go to another studio out of town, it just makes me miss this one more. This is my home studio and I'm so grateful I found it. Highly recommend if you want real results, expert instruction, and a supportive community.
