Yelpers, you can stop searching! You have found your man! I cannot overemphasize how impressed I was with Shannon. Within the first 20 mins he had stuff fixed that I hadn't even asked him about yet...stuff that I was told could not even be fixed! He is extremely knowledgable in his field. He is an EXPERT. He pointed out all the errors in the original installation of my remodel. He got us back up and running in short order and is currently helping us with our long term plan to get our place outfitted properly. He was timely, friendly, responsive and honest and went above and beyond. My only regret is that I didn't find him in the first place, when we did the remodel! Thank you so much Shannon! You saved our day!!! By far, THE BEST electrician you will find!!! read more

He did good job, but I hope he give me new estimate before starting extra work. He charged $300, estimate was $150 read more

These guys are amazing! I had some electrical problems at my mother-n-law's house that took some finesse. The technician, Shannon was so good with her. In addition, he spend extra time explaining options to her that made her day. They are super knowledgeable and the best! read more

Shannon was awesome. Had 4 completely different electrical issues (loose/bad outlet, flickering recessed lighting, ceiling fan light was fused, and loose wires by our electrical box outside). He fixed all of them in like one hour. Highly recommend. Will definitely use again. read more

Fast and quick service. Response time was great and showed up on time to the scheduled appt. to install a ceiling lamp. Very pleased.

Been calling around to see who can install new security cams and a video doorbell at our residence. Everyone else took long to respond until came across Shannon and Specialized Creative Power Electrical. Very responsive in calling us with initial quote and was able to schedule to come out to our residence for the install!! Great work overall highly recommend for any of your electrical needs and/or installation of home security cams. Thank you again Shannon for the great work!! read more

I can't believe how much of a nightmare this idiot Shannon turned a simple job into. We hired him over 8 months ago to upgrade our electric panel, program our already installed cameras and add a sub panel with 4 outlets, 1 to our bbq island. This should have been a simple weekend job but with his mistakes and slow pace 8 months later the job is still not finished. I just kicked him off the job finally fed up with his excuses and poor workmanship. The cameras are actually worse today then when we started. The PTZ cameras were programable and he couldn't get it right so he said the cameras were no good. Come on guy all 12 cameras are bad? I don't think so. Then he couldn't even get the cameras back the way that we had them prior to him touching them. The electric panel is a mess, the calking around it is extremely sloppy, the ground wire failed inspection 2 times and now we have a cluster of metal studs sticking out of our pool decking causing it to be unsafe. The roof all around the panel is destroyed from this moron not knowing how to walk on a metal roof. He trampled all over it stepping wherever grinding all the grit off the shingles as well as denting them. The roof is not only visually unappealing it is physically damaged. The flashing all around the pipe coming threw the roof looks like it was the first time he ever put flashing up (see pics I post). There is calk all over the roof, flashing just very sloppy and ugly. The sub panel goes to nothing. He claims that we didn't tell him why we were putting in a sub panel and he was just following orders. I had to ask him if he was kidding or just stupid. Why would anyone install a sub panel for no reason with not one thing attached to it, duh. We get him to at least connect the bbq island and he attempts to run conduit on top of the concrete across our patio to the island. I'm not sure what he was thinking once again because the inspector said he was a idiot and I think its pretty obvious you can't have a trip hazard on a patio. Not one of the things this clearly slow whited, sloppy, unprofessional, over priced jack off did was acceptable to me or the inspector. In order to get the job to pass inspection I had to do some of the work myself so we could get on with life. I am so disappointed in my fellow yelpers to have given him good reviews because that is how we met him. I hope someone who knows what they are looking at can avoid hiring hime because if you know what he is doing you will be very upset with how he leaves your house looking. read more

Shannon came to our business within minutes of calling him. He was serendipitously in the area and made time to stop by for a look at our issue. He was friendly and gave us what seemed to be a fair estimate. Sadly, he was too good and helped figure out what was wrong without actually doing any work, so he helped himself out of work but that's how honest he seemed to be. Give him a shot. read more

We recently had an electrical shortage part of our house that caused all the outlets in the bedrooms and bathrooms to stop working. This has happened in the past, but we were always able to fix the problem ourselves. This time, we couldn't get the outlets working again and decided to call SCP after reading many, many reviews online. Shannon was professional and patient as we explained what the problem was. He investigated the problem and started to repair the problem by going over the basics to make sure he didn't overlook any of the more basic repairs just so that he could make some extra money by recommending a complicated (and lengthy) solution to fix our problem. It only took about 30 minutes for him to get all the outlets working again! Since he charges by the hour (as most electricians in the area do), he asked to see if there were any other electrical issues we have been having. We had an outlet in our family room that hasn't worked in the 25 years my family has been in this house, so we asked if he would mind looking at that. He agreed without any complaints and was able to hook the outlet up to the correct wires so that it would provide power to anything we plug in. He also corrected a light switch (the "off" position would turn the lights on while the "on" position turned the lights off) AND helped with a small exterior lighting problem by explaining why the light fixtures weren't working and how we could easily replace them without needing an electrician because of how the fixtures are built! All in all, I have found my go-to electrician! I will definitely be calling SPC again for any future electrical needs, whether it is a remodeling project or just another problem that we cannot handle ourselves! read more

As the owner of a construction company we have now had SCP work on multiple jobs, including our own home. Shannon is dependable, qualified, & honest. He shows up when he says he will & he finishes the job, he is professional & personable, he can handle all electrical needs, & he is honest & straightforward with all pricing. Most importantly, Shannon treats every new client as a lifelong client (not a one time transaction). Have faith in your electrician. Call SCP! read more

There's a reason why this guy has 5 stars all the way across the board. He showed up on time, he was friendly, he fixed the situation and explained clearly what the problem was. SCP installed our new LED television. I'd highly recommend them, if you need electrical work. Shannon's team arrived on-time and ready-to-go. They added an outlet and mounted all the gear. Shannon has been the electrician at Raffine Eyelash Extensions | Spa in Newport Beach for over 3 years and does an amazing job. This was by far the most responsive electrician that I have worked with. Most of the calls I made to other electricians, I felt like they were really not interested in the work. I was in need of repairs because our entire kitchen was down. Shannon asked me to text a photo of the electric panel. Early the next morning he came out and fixed it. His price was fair and there were no games. He will be my first call next time I need an electrician. read more

I would highly recommend SCP Electrical! Shannon was great and fixed my problem. Great company!

SCPE is one of the most professional and skilled companies I've ever worked with. Shannon was fantastic! My first job involved installing a heavy crystal chandelier on a 16 foot ceiling in the master bedroom. The job included moving the junction box. Initially, a pair of electricians from the store where I purchased the light came out to do the job. Once they saw the scope of the project, however, they told me they couldn't do it. I was concerned I'd never find an electrician willing and qualified for the job. Thank goodness I found Shannon. He did it with confidence and made it seem like no big deal (though I think it was!). My second job involved installing a crystal chandelier (and moving the junction box) in the middle of a large wooden and mirrored medallion. I was a bit nervous because if the medallion was damaged in the process, I didn't know how I would fix it. Shannon did a beautiful job with no problems at all! Shannon is reliable, respectful and his prices are fair. I wanted to mention that our house is on a Lutron system, which made finding a qualified electrician even more challenging. Shannon was knowledgeable and understood everything about our system. I love my new chandeliers! My experience with SCPE was fantastic and they will definitely be my "go to" company for any electrical needs. read more

Shannon gave me a quote after I sent him an email with couple of pictures. His price matched his competition but he was confident of his workmanship. He gave me a couple external 20-Amp GFCI outlets in my backyard. My concern was the look of my pavers after his ducting work sending the line under and over to the side fence! Shannon was surprised to see the pavers were permanently installed. His work is excellent, he is punctual, and quick thinker. I will hire Shannon for any future electrical work. Thank you! read more
