My nails were filed at an uneven angle, the coats were put on unevenly, my skin was cut with nail clippers, and my hands were placed under the uv lamp a bit too long as my hands felt sun burnt afterwards. This is a solid little nail salon. I went here for the first time for a lunch-time pedicure and was really impressed. It's small but hip. It's prices are on par with other salons. They play up-to-date music and have a flat screen with movies running with the sound down. The lady who did my toes, Lori, was on time, respected the fact I didn't want to talk and just wanted to catch up on trashy magazines, gave a great foot massage, didn't mess up my toes when she put my flip-flops back on, and got me out of there in under an hour. My feet feel a thousand times better and look fantastic. I'll be going here regularly for mani/pedis from now on. read more

I was told she would be welcome- I disclosed her age and everything. If my daughter wants a manicure and behaves through them, then she gets one. It is a wonderful experience to share and I won't allow people like you to dictate if I can share it with her. Especially if the store welcomes her. Don't go to places that welcome children if you hate it so much. My complaint was towards the extreme rudeness and apathy that these women showed to two customers. It was and remains inexcusable. My mother and I had the best spa pedicures here yesterday with Michelle and Lori. So relaxing and fun!! The last reviewer Kathy K. needs to get a clue. People, especially people who have children, do NOT want to be around children when they are trying to relax during their nail, facial or hair appointments. I had walked by Spatini many times on my way into the gym, they always had nice window displays and many clients inside. On the particular day I decided to go in they had a sign advertising their "brow bar". I was treated with a pleasant degree of professionalism and friendliness. I walked in as a drop in(no appointment) in my gym clothes and was immediately rendered service. I am very pleased with the price I paid and the quality of the services rendered by their esthetician, Cyndi. My eyebrows are not the easiest to deal with and now they look amazing. We were referred here by First Hand on a Saturday morning (they were short on staff there and they were kind enough to point us toward Spatini). Im used to in and out mani pedi places located in the south Bay (check out k3 nails in Milpitas ;D), but this place is different. The atmosphere is comfortable and personable in a cozy business place. The nail service is best described as take your time, detailed oriented mani pedis. I go here to get manicures by Mandie! Nice small place in a convenient location downtown. Every two weeks I come in and get a gel manicure. I started when my nails were super short (like super short) and eventually got to the point where my natural nails could be shaped into pointy almond shapes! The gel polish really helps with keeping them from breaking. I love my manicure every time and always get complimented and asked where I get my nails done. Definitely recommend this place. read more

This is my favorite place in all of Sonoma County to get my brows, legs and all other waxing needs done. Ive tried other places in the past, and nothing compares to the quality and service Spatini offers. I find it hard to find someone I trust to do my brows especially (because let's be real it's on your face). But as soon as I met Cindy I had good vibe. She never disappoints, she works with availability and always has time to fit me in with what works for my day. Her prices are more than reasonable and she's quick. I always love going to Spatini, because the other people who work there are friendly and fun, the salon is very clean and the downtown location is convenient. Someone mentioned that it was expensive. Think about it: $70 for a gel manicure and pedicure translates to $35/hour. I don't know about you, but that's a lot less than I pay for a haircut. read more

I came in for a Shellac mani-pedi, but was told they didn't do Shellac in toenails. So I had a Shellac mani and a standard pedi. Took forever! Two days after my mani is showing serious wear and after one week I have a chip. Not good. My prior experience with shellac is at least 2 weeks wear. One week later my pedicure is showing serious wear, even though I was very careful the first 24 hours. Not impressed. read more

L-O-V-E, love it! Went today for the first time and treated my mom, as well. Had been to one other salon in Petaluma previously and wasn't thrilled, so was looking for that "regular" spot. This is it! So comfortable, Lori & Michelle were so friendly and we just had a great time and came away with a great nail job. My feet and hands feel so smooth and pampered and my polish looks great! This was my first visit with them and I did a walk-in visit because my eye brows needed to be done. Prices are not openly advertised to I assumed a eyebrow wax would be between $14-$18, reasonably priced. I also got my lip waxed as well also thinking it would be like &6-$8. She did a quick once over on everything with hard wax. Which I love because it hurts less. I was shocked when I paid $20 for eyebrows n $10 for my lip. Also the next day I looked closely and noticed I had a bunch of short hairs missing on my eyebrows. I should have gone in to have it fixed but had work all day. I would consider going back if it was not so pricey and the nice lady would have gone over everything twice. read more

I visited spatini last week for a gel manicure and pedicure. The gal who saw me was very nice and chatty. My pedicure was just ok, nails were cut too short and she forgot to buff one whole leg and foot with scrub. No massage at all. Also, apparently there were two options for my pedicure but the more expensive one was selected and mentioned while she swiped my card. My manicure was worse. There was gel polish all over my fingers and my cuticles were not trimmed or pushed back. I spent the rest of the day scratching gel polish off of my fingers. $40 pedicure and $30 manicure, totally over priced for such a poor job on both accounts. A few days ago I seriously strained the muscles in my neck. I called a few places to see if I could get a massage, and Kathy at Spatini was the only person who responded promptly and worked with my availability. When I went to my first appointment Kathy was professional, listened, AND did an incredible job! I felt so much better that I scheduled another appointment with her the following day, and let me tell you, I feel like new. Let me say first that I am willing to pay a lot for an excellent mani-pedi. This service was $60 before 20% tip, which I would GLADLY pay monthly if I were satisfied with the results. A mani-pedi is only as good as the polish looks when you leave. In this case, I have never had weirder-looking nail polish in my life. The paint job itself was average, could be better / could be worse: a solid "B+"...but the top-coat?! I've never seen anything like it - it was gelatinous and cloudy (which looks especially weird on top of a darker color) and would not dry ALL DAY. When I finally pushed on it SIX hours later it was like they had top-coated me with paraffin wax that scraped off with still-wet color underneath. And while I won't have to worry about my cuticles tearing/shredding post-service, there was not nearly enough clean-up of dead skin around the nails - ie when I left, the corners of my fingers were still rough enough to rip pantyhose. On the up-side, my nail tech was as sweet as pie and gave a great hand and foot massage. The ambience of the shop was very warm, inviting and clean, but alas, I continue my search. read more
