They are very nice, clean and efficient. Great for regular care, maybe not for ultra fancy nails but great value.

I came for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. Their prices are comparable to other spots in town. Pedicure was fine but gel manicure came out weird and lumpy and peeled after one week. Nail tech massaged my hand before painting and didn't clean the oil/lotion off with rubbing alcohol after, which is probably why the mani peeled so fast. Massage was nice though, and so was the man who did the mani/pedi. read more

I have been coming to this nail salon for the past 5 years. Prices are still around the same! The owners are very nice people and will do anything they can to keep your happy and in love with your nails. You don't know how many times I have messed up my own nails and had to return to get them to get it fixed that day or the next day. One time I wanted a design on my Nails But I did not like the way that it came out so they took it off without giving me any attitude and was completely understanding to my needs. This is the only nail salon I will go in Petaluma everyone else does not compare to their customer service. And this is why I return to this place every time. My nails last me over two weeks I never break a nail or chip it. I love this place and to top it off it's down the street from my house! read more

Nice people, horrible at coats & designs. I am picky but I don't know if I've seen worse on my nails before. I just recently moved to Petaluma from Rohnert Park, so I wanted to find a closer nail shop. When I looked on yelp, I was looking for a nail salon with good reviews but also at a reasonable rate. After reading 3/4 positive reviews on Magic Nails, I decided to go there. I called and made an appointment; David did my nails and there was no one else in the salon. He was very nice, asked me questions about life but also let me relax. He did an amazing job on the filling of my nails and even went to the extent of clipping off parts of the nail that had air pockets/bubbles. Then when I asked for black gel, he said they didn't have any, so I chose white. He proceeded to put on two white coats but I could still see the clear (nail) underneath the coats. I was hoping he would put on another coat but he didn't. Next was the design that I asked for; I told him he could do whatever design he wanted. He started with a cool black design which looked great on the white nail but one design was quite a bit shorter as compared to the other design on the other nail. Silver sparkle was added next which was a great accent to the black design but again, one nail didn't match the arch of the other for the silver sparkle. (I told you I was picky). More gold sparkle was added to the center of the original black design which came out chunky from (I'm assuming), was old nail polish. David put jewels on my nail which I liked until he had to use globs of glue to keep them on and I swear my middle nail (which contained the designs) looked so thick full of clear polish and glue. After this, he put my nails in front of the mini fan which contained heat. I have been getting my nails done for quite some time now, but I thought maybe this was a new thing, so I didn't question it. Well, my instincts were right because the polish of the design started melting and overlapping together which looked like some kind of abstract art... -__- not the look I wanted or David intended. David had to go, so his wife Lisa was there. Her and I were talking and she was really nice too, but when I told her nicely about the heat melting the design (which looked terrible), she just said, "Oh it's okay" and proceeded to put ANOTHER clear coat of polish on the middle nails. As I drove away, I was already thinking how much I didn't like my nails and I honestly don't know if that has ever happened in all the years that I've been getting my nails done. After almost 2 hours and $40 for a mani/pedi I was really sad at what a waste this was. No one else was in the salon and she took forever so you'd think I would have gotten great service, but no. Sadly when I got home and looked at my nails I could see that I had tons of cuts all around my nails that were almost bleeding and the polish she used did not even reach my cuticles. After 2 days it was chipping and after 3 almost half the polish had peeled off. There is no price sheet listed so I don't even know if I was charged correctly or not, but this was too much for such a sub-par service. read more

I came here on my lunch break with short notice. They were kind enough not only to fit me in - but to pay very close attention to my manicure. This place is so unsanitary. I went here for the first time for a pedicure. first of all, it is so outdated- the furniture is old and smells. There's no music or tv, it's so quiet and uncomfortable. I wanted a pedicure. They have no cover or bags for their pedicure bowls. The man working cleaned my bowl as I watched. He used dial handsoap to sanitize the bowl. That's it. Nothing else. Pretty sure that's not up to safety standards. Then, as I was getting my toenails cut- the lamp they use over your feet broke and fell. It was being held by tape! I could've been electrocuted but thankfully it was caught. She put it back on with tape while proceeding to do my nails. So janky!!! Then, it was time to clean my feet. Guess what they used? The same dial handsoap that they cleaned the bowl with! So foul. There was no scrub or lotion or anything that made this experience enjoyable. I went home and immediately showered because I was legitimately scared of getting athletes foot or something. I wonder if there is a board or something to report to, because their sanitation standards are so below safe, I'm surprised they are still in business. By the way, it was $26. I could've gone home, cleaned my feet with my bathroom handsoap and painted my toes myself. I wish I would've. read more
