I had the most amazing experiences at this salon and I've been to most nail salons in Rohnert Park. This one exceeded all of my experiences by far. This place is quaint and has an adorable family vibe. I got a fill and a pedicure and both look overly exceptional for such a reasonable price, especially in this area. They have a wide range of colors and each nail tech does very diligent work. I called in and they took me right away. I saw the place fill up quickly and I was grateful to come at the time that I did, however every walk in was seen in a timely manner. I will be making this my go to spot! We had been customer for a few years. Danny accused my daughter pulling her nails off, after a full set only being on for 2 days. I watched 3 of the nails lift that night. She couldn't return the next day because of school and work. Saturday AM was the next availability she had. After him arguing with us, they said they have plenty of customers and don't need us. So I pulled up to Elite Nails, the place was well lit, the door was open and the sign that say open was blazing bright. I read the times on the door and it says Sunday 10am-6pm. I hop out and walk in and the guy greets me with "how may I help you" I say pedicure please. He looks me up and down and say I'm sorry we're closed. I look back at the door and I say I thought you close at 6pm. He proceeds to tell me that on Sundays he closes at 5pm. I politely inform him that his time has been falsely advertised and proceed to get back in my car. As a pull away the door is still open, the sign is still lit and did I mention that theee wasn't not one other customer in the shop. I'm honestly not sure why he decided not to serve me but I won't be patronizing this establishment again. I don't think it wrong to take care of your family at all. That's very respectable however, I do think that you should make it clear that you are closed instead of advertising that you are still open with the door open, the sign on, and asking to how you may help before stating that you're closed and hour earlier than advertised. Family should always come first but there is a way to also practice good business in the process. This just wasn't good business. read more

I would give this place -0 stars if I could. I'm so glad all of the other reviews explain exactly the experience I had here. And that the owners rude, unprofessional responses are shown on almost all of them, including mine. I can't believe I was the worst customer ever, when other reviewers said they were yelled at! Came in to treat myself for a Mother's Day mani pedi. I was in and out in less that f#~*ing 20 minutes! I know this because I had the timer going on the chair message. The owners kids were running around the salon, the place is cluttered with supplies that should be put in the back where customers can't see them, and the the place is just down right dirty and old. I came here with an open mind, though pre judged by previous ratings. However, the woman who did my nails did a beautiful job. My previous set of gels were thicker than what she was used to seeing and the soaking took a bit longer than what she anticipated. She did an entire pedicure while I soaked the gels off! I told her what I wanted and the execution was just lovely. She was gentle with my cuticles, actually trimming them which is more than most salons do. The woman did in fact have a baby monitor she and her husband were listening to, but that's because the 5 month old on camera was awake and had her toddler keeping her company in the back. I can imagine wanting to keep an eye on them! It seems that for the most part it's a husband and wife run place, as they were effectively helping all the customers in there. No drier for my feet, smudged when putting my shoes back on. We had an appointment and called them to let them know we'd be a few (like eight minutes) late due to traffic. They had six people "walk-in" and they took them all instead of holding two stations for my hubby and I. Then they told us to wait a "few" minutes--after waiting 45 MINUTES we walked out and went to Diva Nails the next day. Don't do business with Elite Nails! P. S. I've been to this nail salon many times, after trying ones nearby that weren't great. And I love it. I've been coming for about a year! It's a family run business with quality in mind. They are all so sweet and detail oriented. The owner.... he is impeccable at acrylics! I've never had them look so good and last so long. I love this place and wouldn't want to go anywhere else! Definitely recommend. They are flexible with appointments and have very fair prices! They have adorable kids there who help make the atmosphere homey and comfortable. I'm new to the area and wanted to find a nail salon that I could go to regularly. I got an acrylic fill, and the next day they started to chip. I also noticed right away they were very thick and clumpy. I went back in the next day and kindly asked to be refunded, however the lady who did my nails refused to do so and proceeded to tell me how I'm wrong. she proceeded to yell at me in front of her customers and aggressively grab my hands and point out that the color I got was the only reason my nails looked the way they did. I could tell she was getting defensive and reassured her that as an artist she did a great job and that in no way was I trying to invalidate her work, and I just wanted my refund so that I can get them fixed elsewhere. She only gave me $25 of the $50 that I paid for the fill. I'm extremely disappointed, this place has no understanding of what customer service is. I will never return. read more

Don't think I'll be returning :/ I really wanted to rate this place higher than 2 stars because I use to go there all the time in High school. However, the man that runs the place was very short with me and my friend. My friend had never gotten a pedicure before so she asked him, what do we do first. He acted annoyed and walked over and pointed get color before I could say something to her. Even when we were finishing and paying, she said politely how much as she handed him her card, he scowled and ignored her and ran her card, handed her the receipt. I couldn't help but laugh, wondering if he actually heard her or not. Besides this, the younger lady did a great job on our toes, even if it was super quiet and awkward lol. I have been going to Danny and Kim for 15 plus years. I have never been disappointed in their service. They are great hard working people. Only 15 years of going I have had full sets, pink and whites , pedicures and gel manicures. I will not let anyone else do my nails. In response to some of the other reviews I have seen. Do they have their young children there yes. Are they ever not well behaved Probably but they are children. So if anyone can say their kids are perfect all the time I know your lying. One of the girls will run up to me every time and give me a hug. I have seen the oldest grow up into an amazing young women who not only helps her family out but is extremely smart. I have never waited more then 5 minutes when I have made an appt. Danny and Kim are amazing people who work their asses off to give their family a great life. I live in Rohnert Park and recently discovered this place! I've been here probably 4 times and haven't been disappointed once. Everyone working there is extremely nice and they care about how YOU want your nails done. This place is family owned and they often have their kids there. I love that there are kids there, I think it makes for a friendly and welcoming environment. The kids are sweethearts and always have fun stories to tell. They are always very accommodating, even when I call the day of to make an appointment. I do wish they offered some beverages but regardless this is hands down my favorite nail place in town! I have been going to this place for years. I have tried many other places in town and they do the best job. They are consistant in quality and always do my nails exactly how I like them. I've read some of the bad reviews of this place and I don't think the service is any different from other places I've been. Other places may have nail techs that try to have conversation but I find that I often sacrifice quality and comfort with those places. I have no words to describe this disgusting little place, only sounds. And that sound is "Booooooooo". I used to come here a few years back, honestly because I live just a few minutes away. But in the last 2 years, not only has the quality of service gone down; the prices also went up? Now I completely understand that a business has to keep up with the times and ever changing economy. But this is your typical generic vietnemese nail shop. Where a full set should never be more than $25 (tip included), and a pedicure more than $20. The last time I went here the woman who regularly does my nails was too busy having her lunch break (or screwing around the back room for 2 hours, whichever seems more believable). So I was traded amongst three different people, who all in turn had 3 different styles in doing nails. I specifically asked that my french manicure be painted on instead of that cheap airbrush style. (sorry ladies - but unless you're looking to have your FM worn off by the next weekend, the airbrush thing is a no-no) I ALWAYS get my FM painted, and they know this. When I asked the manicurist simply said 'I don't do that' and proceeded to rush me over to their little paint station so that I can lazily have my french manicure stenciled on like some kindergartner's christmas art project. After all was said and done, my full set with french (+tip - because yes I do have a little class) cost almost $40.00! Elite Nails - eff you and your rip off services. Anyone who may be reading this in search of a good nail place - take the time and go to either Nails & Co. in Cotati, or head over to Petaluma to Super Nails. They are just as much in price - but WAY better in quality. read more

This is my favorite place in Sonoma County to get a quickie pedicure or manicure. No, it is not a fabulous spa experience. You will get a very satisfactory pedicure that will last almost a month. I have tried tons of nail places in Petaluma, Sonoma, and Rohnert Park and this is the one I come back to because: * It is inexpensive * You still get some leg massage time (though never enough time, right?) * They are nice enough (ask for Kim -she is a sweetheart) * They can get you in and out quickly, so you can get your toes done on your lunch break. If you want a spa experience in and incredibly nice setting, don't come here. This is business - get in, get out, get your toes lookin' cute. They do have two "kiddie" chairs they've added recently that might appeal to a 5 year old. I'm not into letting my daughter get her toes done but might be fun for some! read more

I have been going to elite nails for 1 year no problems with a fill and gel polish til this week came in on a Tuesday and by Friday clear coat coming off and gel peeling went in on Saturday morning to get fixed and they treated me as if did the peeling on purpose and they were harsh attitude towards me . $30.00 for a fill plus tip to last 2 days I work hard for this luxury to myself. Nothing changed for anything to happen. I'll give them another try in 4 weeks and if bad service will be posting and looking for a new spot. I'm glad that you have a lengthy response to my experience, for your information I cleaned my nails with soap and water and brush you provided in your shop.
