Go HERE!! This is my first yelp review I loved it so much. Wow truly best pedicure I've had in forever! The attention and care was unmatched. They spent their time making sure our needs were met. It seems like these days everyone is so fast and transactional but these people were so nice! We were just in town for a little while but I will be commuting from SF back here just for this!! I used to be a regular here when I was local and hadn't been to T&T in years, so I am grateful that my dear Aunt moving to town gave me an excuse to return! Solid service from Tom and Tammy who took us as walk-ins, and graciously hosted my 12 year old son who was chilling out reading during our nail service. Tom and Tammy are a really lovely married couple who beam with joy. They did a perfect job with a lot more attention to detail than you usually receive. The setting is basic- the service is exceptional. The price is fair and competitive for this area we each paid $55 for a full set with gel polish. We decided that this is our place and are planning to make a tradition of getting our nails done a couple times a month here. read more

My wife asked if I wanted to get a pedicure with her on our day off, and of course, I jumped at the opportunity. My working feet needed some love!! 20 minutes later, we walked into T&T and were treated like royalty. We both got the deluxe pedicure, and it was worth the extra few bucks for sure. We sat in the massage chairs and were offered a variety of beverages. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They got rid of my wife's ingrown toenail and knocked off my calluses from being on my feet all day. I believe they have been in Petaluma for over 20 years!! Did a french manicure and pedicure last Friday evening, without making an appointment. It was just my boyfriend and I when we arrived so the service was quick, efficient and no mess! I had two ladies helping me out and another two with my boyfriend. The ladies were really nice, asking from time to time if we're doing alright. Uh, a massage chair with your feet soaked in warm water while your hand is given a massage? YES, duh! $38 for french mani-pedi? Yikes. Yet I had a wonderful experience at T&T. Came to Petaluma with a friend for a short get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Found this gem and so happy we gave it a shot. Small family owned salon, which I love to support. They were so friendly and helpful. Tammy did an awesome job on my pedicure. She thoroughly clean and shaved my nails. My end toe always look disfunction bc I wear stilletos. She fixed it using the filer machine to sand down and even out my nails. My Tor is on point. Highly recommend this place. read more

I have mixed feelings about this place. I read other reviews after i sat in a chair... right when i walked in i was greeted with the STRONGEST odor of products (other places smell like this but it was really strong). It's a little dingy (old things kind of dirty), definitely among the dirtier places I've been to and smallest (feels like you're in a closet) The girl i got was really nice, even offered me gum haha. She was very friendly and only charged me $25 for a gel mani (at first i heard $35 and gave her $40 but corrected me when she could have kept it all). Gave me a neck massage and did two coats (other places have only done one)... Overall: I'd go here if i were in a HURRY, it was all very quick (did not feel complete for some reason). I would AVOID THE GUY! The girl next to me got a mani and was there half my time... (altho it sounded like he only charged her $5)... i would NOT get a pedi here either (the chairs looked grosse) read more

We were just yelled at after we sat down for an HOUR AND A HALF to get 2 gel manicures when there were only 4 people in the place. They yelled at us that they "didn't want customers who looked like us" before they finally stepped out of the way so we could leave. I called before hand and asked if there was time, was told to come down, showed up 5 minutes later and at first everything seemed very nice. There were about 4 people in there when we walked in, they took us and had us change seats at least 5 different times. I appreciated that she was getting us in without an appointment but she was rushing to do our work, filing a finger at a time and running to do someone else's nails. There were only 2 women working. One of them, Mai, was very nice and did a good job, actually did only my nails at one time. I don't know the other woman's name, but she rushed my friend's gel and when it was done, parts of her nails weren't painted and the other half was painted over her cuticles on the skin of her fingers. We asked if they could fix the nails that were noticeably bad - and mind you, all of them looked bad but we had run out of time to sit and have the whole thing done over again. Then they grab a file and run it over all of her nails as she's trying to ask them to only fix the messed up ones. The woman agreed that all of her nails looked bad. We sat there for 20+ minutes waiting for the gel to be taken off her nails when it was in the foil. We were told that my friend had picked bad polish and she was then only given 2 color wheels out of about 10 and told that it was the brand that we needed to change for the polish. This clearly wasn't the case because my nails turned out fine with the same brand she originally used. We finally really needed to leave because we had to go to work. It had been an hour and a half. I was trying to pay for my nails and we took the foil off and politely said we didn't have the time and would take the remaining polish off ourselves. The woman left her appointment's nails and ran over and insisted that she repaint my friends nails. We said we appreciated that but we no longer had time. She said it would only take 6 minutes for her to redo the nails (no way! And even if she did it would have turned out worse than the first time she rushed her nails!) The woman began to yell at my friend in front of customers because she was adamant that we couldn't leave without paying for her nails (that looked like the picture we added) or let her finish. We really somehow remained calm when this woman wouldn't understand that we did NOT have any more time to spend and that we no longer wanted the service. My friend's nails and cuticles were now jacked up and raw because they had been trimmed and buffed/ sanded TWICE. I paid for my nails but the woman continued to yell at us and demanded that we pay for my friend's "manicure". We could not sit there any longer because we had to go to work and we were not going to pay for work that left her nails 100x worse than when she walked in. Bottom line, we called before to see if they had time, were told they did. Showed up 5 minutes later because we were around the corner, then waited an hour and a half. The woman did very poor work on my friend's nails and when we asked if it could be touched up, she blamed the polish and told us to choose from 2 of the 10 color wheels. We waited an additional 20 min for the nail polish to come off, then could not wait any more and asked if we could pay for mine and leave. The woman left her appointment and tried to blame us for not having more time. She started yelling and pointing at us in or faces. Then she was blocking us from the door and tried telling us to come back another time so they could fix it. It was hostile. Very unprofessional. Maybe she was just having a bad day, but that was out of hand as she yelled at us as we walked out the door. read more

Well, maybe they were having a bad day, but here I sit with polish on the end of my toes and they didn't even care to remove it. Awful service, dirty, never going back. Upon walking in for my first time I immediately noticed how dirty and dated this nail salon is. It wasn't crowded and my friend and myself made an appointment. We were asked to choose a color from their wall first. All, besides maybe 5, of the polishes on the wall were really old/clumpy/off-color. My friend took a pink newish looking one and I took a red newish looking one. We were seated next to each other for our manicures. The staff was friendly but not professional at all. They kept eating around my friend and myself. One who had finished eating in a spa chair then washed the excess food off of her hands in the foot bath then didn't clean it out. The lady doing my nails seemed like she didn't know what she was doing. She filed my nails so unevenly it was insane. One cut short, one long, one rounded, one squared off. I asked her to re-file them and make them even...she did make them all the same length but still some squared off and some rounded which I had to fix upon getting home. My nails were sloppily done and the lady didn't even look at what she was doing most of the time, she kept looking out the window or over at my friends nails. Since the polish was old my nails didn't turn out looking well. No lotion was used so the manicure left my hands super dry/cracked. I personally didn't like the "back massage"...it wasn't good and considering how un-relaxing the atmosphere was just made it seem really awkward. Really weird experience all-in-all. My gel manicure is mostly nice, but probably the messiest one I've ever received. Wish I had the name of the technician who did mine, because she was wonderful. Unfortunate that she works here and I'm never setting foot in the door again. The owner Tami has apparently no idea how to do acrylics correctly, and acts like she listens to you but doesn't. And if your nails got messed up? Most places wouldn't charge you if you were really upset over it, right? Forget that here. Even if she makes a customer bleed she still demands they pay, even if it's "just half". Frankly, if you're that desperate for $15, you probably shouldn't be in business. Tools did not come out of a cleaning solution or anything, just a box labeled "clean" which the used tools were put directly back into. No signs of infection yet, but could still be incubating. read more

This is the worst nail salon ever! It was dirty, dark, and the polishes looked like they hadn't been replaced since the 80s. They said very little to us when we walked in and weren't friendly. Forget the prices on the wall, Tammy will make up whatever price she feels like for you and then hovers to make sure you leave at least a $5 tip for everyone who touched your hands or feet. I got a pedicure and a French manicure which was priced at $25 on the wall. She ran my card for $33 without asking or telling me she changed the price and then demanded I leave a $10 tip....in cash only. I was so shocked I just paid and left, never to return. Don't go here unless you plan to get ripped off. Update: 2 days later and the polish from my manicure and pedicure is already coming off. They obviously use the cheapest products they can find because I'm not rough on my fingers or toes nor should any mani pedi be useless after two days. I could do a better job myself! read more

I was very pleased when I called to see if I could send my two daughters in for manicures and pay by card over the phone. They went to the salon directly after school. The manicures looked lovely, and the girls had a good time. So why the 2 stars? Within two days after the manicures, both girls' cuticles started peeling (fortunately only unsightly, and not painful). I asked my older daughter if the manicurists had used cuticle nippers, and she said that they had-- a big NO-NO! I understand that if there is excessive cuticle growth, sometimes clipping is necessary, but I know for my daughters that was not the case. There was no need to clip, it was done as routine. I can only assume that the clippers are disinfected properly between each client (they did not develop symptoms of infection, just the peeling), however, there was no need to risk infection by using the nippers. We will not be back, and warn all friends interested in getting a manicure not to go here. P.S. My older daughter's friend went in the same day and had the same peeling issue. read more

Soaked our feet for a second, no massage, no filing, no spa treatment, and only one coat of paint and no clear top coating for $20! NO THANK YOU! Worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. My family and I went here on a Saturday at 5pm--I called ahead of time to make sure we could come in that late and they assured me that we could. When we got there, it immediately smelled like really strong food lingering. Gross. As we were getting our pedicures, the lady doing my toes mentioned that they normally close at 5pm. Okay, I said, thanks for letting me know. She kept hinting at me that they shouldn't be doing my nails this late on a Saturday, making us feel like we had done something wrong. The way she kept saying that we were there so late made us feel rushed and unwelcome, even though THEY SAID over the phone that it was fine to come in. The pedicure was okay--nothing special. My sister got acrylics, which turned out okay as well but the lady was on her cell phone the whole time and didn't even say two words to her, like maybe "hi!". They also turned out crooked. If you're desperate for a mani/pedi, it may be ok to go here on a last resort. Otherwise, try somewhere else. read more

The reviews of this place are accurate. For the price, the mani/pedis are basic, the place isn't awful but it isn't pretty or even close to clean. My experience wasn't horrible but it wasn't great. When I told the owner I had just moved to Petaluma she started talking to me and putting extra effort into my service but it was very short lived as three more people walked in she had to get them set up and my pedi literally lasted 5 minutes. Fail! I guess I'm headed to Spatini for twice the price but far superior service. Also, their cheap lotions and oil products felt toxic and smell awful, I had to go home straight away and disinfect the chemicals off my body. Gross. read more
