My experience here was good. I didn't see any issue with cleanliness as many people are claiming. I don't know the name of who did my nails but he was the nice gentleman that handled reservations. My nails look great and gave me suggestions for how it could be better throughout the visit. He was very friendly to me. He suggested I come back in two weeks to have my nails filled, which I plan to do so. My main issue was that my nails look fairly different to each hand? It's like he kind of gave up trying to make them look scalloped when he got to my left hand (photos for reference). Maybe I should've been more attentive and spoken up at the time, but what's done is done. I will just remember this for next time. My SIL (teen) got her nails done too and she was happy with them, her design was cute and looked really good! It's a cute store that seems family owned (they have a back area where their kids were relaxing in). There's a hand washing station and a (fairly clean) bathroom. Used to be my go to place but on now multiple occasions they have had me come and have either given my slot to someone else or told me to come when they were overbooked and then told me - after waiting for about 40 minutes - that they couldn't take me. And today I had an appointment in the morning and even went into work early and switched my schedule around and arrived 7 MINUTES late and they had given me seat to someone else already and wanted to book me for hours later. Absolutely hate their customer service these days and completely unapologetic for giving up my seat when it had been previously stated to me that they have a 15 minute grace period. This may be my first and last review ever for a nail salon, but Tiara Salon deserves a shout out for their excellent service and great prices. My wife was looking to get a last-minute acrylic removal done on Sunday evening. We tried to contact a few places and most were either already closed or were charging at least $15, which was over what she was looking to spend. We gave Tiara Salon a call and even though they were closing in less than 15 minutes, they told us they could take care of it and that it would only be $10. I'm unfamiliar with the removal process, but I figured given the price point that it would be a quick and easy 5-10 minute process. Instead, the employee worked diligently for between 20-25 minutes to remove the nails, and not only did they remove the acrylics but they also cut and filed her nails down for no extra charge. I was blown away that a process that took almost a half-hour of active work by a trained professional only cost $10. I can't speak to the quality of their services overall but I can certainly speak to their service and value, and both were excellent. Take a look at my botched nails. Worst experience of my life. I paid $80 for my acrylic nails and went back a week later for removal as I was experiencing extreme BURNING AND THROBBING pain on my nails and even a bubbling white rash under my nails that gets worse with water contact. Bad quality. The removal was PAINFUL and she changed me $20 for REMOVAL of Bad work. I said " $20 for removal? Its not even fully off of my nails" the acrylic was still on my nails. I asked for a pink and white ombré and they had funky shades of 'pink'. I got my hard nails done. I was happy a couple of times. My last nail color is burgundy. My nail lift up last week, so i came back, and they repaired it with the correct color. Today, the same nail came off again. So I called them again, and the guy who repaired it did a sloppy job. He polish my nail dark brown, and i told him it's not the same color. He then got up and picked another color. He took a mesh material and sprayed it of what i think is acetone. He rubbed my nail once, and then he painted it red on top of the brown. Hi, my friend and I had an appointment at this nail salon at 3; when I called, I could barely hear him and asked them nicely to speak up. And he already sounds annoyed. When we arrived, no one welcomed us, which was fine, so I asked them nicely that we were there for our appointments. He said okay. I went in to get a gel manicure for the holidays. In less than a week I had two chips, but I let that slide until the gel actually started lifting off my nail less than 2 weeks after application (1week 4 days) when I called to see if they would redo the nails that had lost the gel, I was told they only fix nails that have been done less than 1 week prior. For those who know, a gel manicure should easily last up to 4 weeks. I am highly disappointed and will neither be returning her, nor recommending it to anyone! I did not have a good experience at this salon. The man who did my nails spent so long shaping my nails, it took an hour and a half for him to just shape them. He kept adding acrylic and then filing it down and then adding more again and filing again. My nails were so thick. I got short almond shape, and I only came in for a fill. He didn't push my cuticles back so my nails already looked grown out before he was even done. I hated my nails so much. The shape was so ugly and my hands did not look the same. Received a manicure and pedicure along with my young daughter. They were able to see us quickly and my daughter loved her experience! Staff was kind and friendly. Salon was very clean and well stocked. My only complaints are that my daughter's fingernails only stayed painted for about an hour and I'm not sure why. The polish just peeled right off. I've gotten some decent work done by Noel but I came in to get a new shape and told me I had to do a new set, which was fine. He drilled the acrylic off so aggressively I was in PAIN. My nails were SO THIN the drill was super hot so he asked me if I was ok and I was like uh yeah it's just a little too hot. Did not turn the drill down. Then proceeded to give me such a bad full set, tips were on crooked, they were thick and uneven. So I stopped going there. 3 months later going somewhere else now my nails are growing out but are bending, and splitting even with acrylic on them. Half of my thumb nail came off my nail bed because the nails are so thin. So if I jam any my nails they are bending because they're thinner than paper.
