They also provide a private party room for your group to use, which is really convenient. The indoor pool is actually warm (which I truly appreciate, because I've been to plenty of places that claim their pools are "warm" when they definitely are not). There's also a section where kids have to pass a swim test to receive a bracelet, which allows them access to the deeper area and the inflatable play zone. There are plenty of lifeguards on duty, so it always feels safe, and they provide life jackets as well. All kids are required to wear approved life vests while in the water. I also like that there are showers right by the pool, along with doors that lead directly into the men's and women's locker rooms and bathrooms. It makes it easy to enter and exit from both the indoor and outdoor areas, although parents should definitely keep an eye on their kids since there are multiple exit points. One thing to note is that they're pretty strict about party timing. If you go over your allotted time, they may not always remind you, but they will charge you afterward. I really wish they had separate designated party time and swim time, because it can feel rushed trying to fit everything in at once. Overall, it's a nice place to take the kids. They also offer swim lessons and other programs, which is a plus. The only downside is that some of the front desk staff seem young and occasionally don't have clear answers to specific questions. This wasn't our first visit and definitely won't be our last.

Let me tell you something... night swimming with nobody around feels like you accidentally rented out a millionaire's backyard. Quiet, peaceful, and not one kid cannonballing directly next to your face while you're trying to have a spiritual moment floating under the stars. I almost stayed until they kicked me out. This gym honestly has some awesome employees too. Amber always comes in with that motivational energy like she's coaching Rocky before a title fight. Then there's Keith moving around the floor like a gym FBI agent making sure dumbbells make it back home safely. Dude cares about the place and it shows. Now parking... whew. Between 4-7pm it's basically the Hunger Games. Once you see headlights backing out you better commit immediately and believe in yourself. But after 9pm? Different universe. There were 2 flat benches, 3 inclines (one of which could not be adjusted due to missing knob) and one seated bench which was missing the seat. I waited 25 minutes for a bench and never did get one. There was almost 2 rows of missing weights 20-35 lbs I believe and as there were only 4 people using the weights, not sure what to think. For $40 (my fully equipped club charges $25 day pass as does the fully equipped 24 hr fitness nearby I expected a more fully equipped gym. There were a lot of cardio and fitness machines if that's what you are looking for but if you are looking for a free weight fitness program, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. I mentioned the broken benches and missing weights to the front desk and he is "going to let the fitness director know" - shouldn't they already know? Anyway spent too much money and didn't really get a decent workout. Just spoke with club ambassador Rocco - he reached out regarding my experience. He explained that I was there during their busy time and they are repairing the benches and will be expanding their free weights areas in the near future. I went back and forth on whether to write this, and frankly part of me feels bad doing so, but…read moreultimately, we don't feel good about the $100k+ we spent on our pool--and that's not something that should be ignored. 1. Sloppy Workmanship Concrete & deck - The joints are visibly misaligned and the pool deck slopes in places. When I asked for this to be fixed or compensated, they offered a token $400 credit against what I estimate to be a $2,000 mistake--after we had already spent nearly $30k in additional concrete work. Their response? "Our margins are already so low." That's not my problem. It felt dismissive and manipulative. Fence - To meet code, we had to reverse the swing of our fence door. The contractor they sent left a mess--cutting the door unevenly and leaving a large gap. The fact that I even have to spend my time following up on this speaks volumes about their quality control (or lack thereof). Heater install - They installed the pool heater with no condensate line, so water spilled directly onto the concrete deck and left stains (photo attached). I had to chase them down just to get that fixed. Their "fix" was running giant exposed PVC lines across the deck. And now the unit is leaking again. Pool finish - The plaster work is uneven, with rough, jagged steps and visible spots of chipped gunite. You can feel it every time you get in the pool. 2. Disorganized and Disruptive Crews Scheduling was a total mess. Crews either didn't show up on scheduled days or showed up unannounced. One morning we woke up to find the owner tearing out our landscaping to lay skid boards for the bobcat. This was never even discussed. During excavation, the bobcat tore through our irrigation system, flooding our front yard. Despite multiple follow-ups, the issue was never fully fixed--and still leaks to this day. We often felt like pushing harder for resolution would jeopardize our relationship or our warranty. That's not how a customer should feel. We have email after email where we're left chasing basic updates: "What time tomorrow?" "Actually, he can't make it; we'll reach out in a day or two." 3. Condescending Customer Service Any time we raised concerns, we were met with either silence or thinly veiled condescension. The concrete credit negotiation was especially frustrating--using their internal cost pressures as a reason not to fairly address our complaint. When we brought up the heater runoff issue, the response was to "come take a look sometime"... and then nothing. Radio silence. Bottom Line We spent over six figures and ended up with: * uneven concrete * stained decking * a leaking heater * rough, unfinished plaster * a broken irrigation system * and a pile of ignored emails If you care at all about quality, communication, or customer service--do yourself a favor and go with someone else.

The only items that broke are 3 of my 4 pumps but they lasted more than average. Replaced jet pump in 2013, waterfall pump in 2015, salt chlorinator in 2016 and pool sweep booster in 2019. The control panel still works but I plan to upgrade to a newer model with better remote control. I think the dual skimmer design may have helped with the longetivity of my pump besides making sure they are shaded during the triple digit summer heat. Don't pay attention to the one-star reviews that dragged down the overall rating. Read them carefully and they are all petty complaints. Courage Pools is a premium and the best in the county. If you want to pay more for lesser quality go with the other companies especially the acronym PP.

On the negative, the facility (building) and equipment need some TLC. Have observed cardio equipment (Ellipticals and treadmills) have repair tags for a very long time. During the day when not crowded that's a non-issue but during peak hours it's frustrating. And there's plenty of black mold in the men's locker room in the ceiling above the showers and in the grout lines of the showers between tiles. I think that's a pretty unhealthy thing!
