We came here for swim lessons for our youngest and we had a good experience. The instructor was awesome with him and made the class fun. The facility itself is pretty big with a lap pool, a kids play structure, and 2 water slides. There aren't enough seating areas but you can bring in chairs to wait. The only downside is the cleanliness. We've seen trash and food on the ground. The bathroom and locker room don't smell great and we've seen wet paper and food in them. We'd love to have lessons here again and hopefully the facilities will be cleaner when it's less busy. read more

Great for younger kids! Shallow pools and slides! Water shooters! And a larger pool on the opposite side for older kids. Come early to grab one of the few tables or spots in the shade! I brought my wagon with a few chairs and was able to claim a small patch of grass in a far corner and I came just 10 mins after opening. Some people even had pop-up canopies. I brought an ice bag with drinks and snacks plus a hot + ready pizza from across the street too. I appreciate that there are lots of lifeguards who are very attentive! This is a great community pool, clean and the lifeguards are great. I only wish they had longer hours, they are only open 1-4:30. I also wish they had chairs they used to have green plastic chairs, not anymore. I also wish they would build some shade areas on the grass parts. They have shade over the bleachers and one of the cement tables has an umbrella but that's it. For $5 totally worth it to cool off and get out of the house. They also have a summer pass. All four of my boys have taken swim lessons here, love them. We have also rented out the pool for a birthday party, perfect for those summer birthday party months when it is too hot to have a party at the park. read more

What a joy to find this spot down the street from our home. Our 4-year-old son isn't quite ready to go to the big water park (Roseville Golfland & Sunsplash) due to so many people around, so finding this park was a win! Anybody of all ages is more than welcome to play in the water. For kids under 5, this cute kiddie pool is not deep at all. They have little waterslides for the younger kids too. Make sure your kids are taller than the pole they have next to the slide to ride down. They have multiple pools for older kids and adults as well as 2 big slides. It's such a cute place! It looks like a little island when you're inside the area. I've seen a lot of folks bring their chairs and covers. As well as food and drinks. It's 6 dollars to enter and free under 2. You can enter and leave as much as you want, Just make sure you get a stamped before you exit. Hours are 1 PM-4:30 PM come early because it does get super busy and packed! We arrived right when they opened and was able to set up in the small grass area. Not many tables, but if you're able to snag one, know there is no shade. Families brought their canopy. Fake drowning drill today... May have been good practice for them, but not once did they announce it was fake. It looked fake because the as soon as they got the girl on the board and out of the water, she hopped up, helped roll up the safety straps, and disappeared, helping take away the board they pulled her out on. So, I wouldn't've minded scraping up my hand and leg scrambling to get out of the pool if this was real, or if they had thanked us for cooperating in a practice drill... but nothing was said, and they didn't even say ok, you can go back in the pool.... 3 stars because I really like coming here, fun place, and pricing isn't ridiculous. The slides and water park are awesome. Plus, I know it's a practice drill, but it needs to be announced better. We all wondered what happened and then she jumped up like it was nothing. We just moved to the area not too long ago. Finally, it is Memorial Holiday Weekend and the family has been waiting to try this place out. Price: we paid 5 dollars each. Not a bad thing since you have access to the slides, diving area, and the other pool (good for intermediate swimmers) Cleanliness: very clean area, we saw the workers constantly police the grounds for any garbage. Pool is not too chlorinated and was just right. Facilities: For the short time we were there, we saw two restrooms with changing area, outdoor showers, two covered bleachers (maybe seats 50 each), a few tables with no shade, Grassy areas where you can lay a towel. You should bring a popup tent Food: just bring your own food. No glass though. Overall, an excellent place to bring the family. I have two nieces registered at antelope for swim lessons. The swim instructors are great, however the manager that is a younger lady and an older gentleman are very rude. I have tried to talk to her a few times and she does not want to hear anything that I have to say. The older gentleman is constantly causing a scene he even slammed chairs down one day. The manger and him sit and talk frequently and their vibe is not good. I also have a service dog and they turned me away. There are no signs posted in the facility either. read more

Went here the other day with friends and our kids. It was a weekday so they charged $5 to get in. It was fun kids enjoyed themselves only if it was open for a few hours it was enough time for tired out the kids in this heat lol. But definitely will plan on going again. Our first visit. The complex is very clean and plenty of life guards on duty. So why three stars? Because the life guards need to take their job more serious. They are not there to chit chat constantly. They should be separated and pay more attention to their surroundings. I know they were doing training on the other side, but the side we were on was full of kids so, paying more attention and looking around keeping an eye out would have been best! On the other side (the salt water pool) my son's friends thought it could be funny to keep pulling him down. They are young and at first did not realize what was happening. The kids should have been reprimanded by a life guard not a parent observing. The life guard was right in front of the kids and didn't even notice. The other thing I found absolutely alarming is little kids (under 10) are not even given a second glance jumping in the 13' side. No worries at all with little ones jumping in. After talking to the 'manager', I don't think he'll do much. He just gave me the what I wanted to hear speech. He also said kids are no longer questioned if they can even swim on the deep side - they no longer do tests to see if they can swim. So they don't' question kids that appear to be younger than 10? Wow. I was also told the gals put bracelets on kids under 8. We were not even questioned about my son who just barely turned 8. I do realize, and was, it's my primary job to keep an eye out, but when they are playing in the slides and structures, it's also the life guards job to keep an eye on these little ones! read more

This is a 4 th year of classes in aquatic facility. Very clean shower rooms, very clean pool water. There is lots of space for lounges and chairs. The kid pool keeps most of the munchkins occupied in that section of the facility. The main pool allows for lap swimming and also a section for diving. The staff is friendly and efficient. We have come here for swim classes as it is close to my daughters daycare. I have noticed the bathrooms are disgusting! They smell like pee, band-aides and hair on the floor, toilet paper all over the floor and no hand soap. Half the time the outside showers do not work and the are ice cold now when they used to be warm. read more

For what this place is it was great! A nice little community pool to cool off in. It has a large lap pool that is 13 feet deep so the kids loved jumping in the deep end. They have two slides you have to be 40 something inches to go down, a splash pool for little ones with two different slides and stuff to climb on which is attached to a small swim pool. It was $4 to get in each and is open 1-5pm. You can bring your own food and drinks. We got there right when it opened which I recommend because the line for the slide got long after an hour when camp kids arrived. We set our towels in the grass but there are a few tables with umbrellas if you get there early. The life guards seemed very watchful and the overall crowd was good. There is a snack bar there as well. My kids had a nice time playing with other kids, swimming and enjoying the fun music they played. read more

This review is solely on today's visit. They let 100 people in past capacity."big fire hazard" Due to the fact there was a daycare party here that was pre-planed. Then they wouldn't let people in. One customer was asking why they cant come in when people were leaving. The girl raised her voice at her and then of course the customer got very upset. She asked for the card or the name of the girls at the desk and they wouldn't give it to her instead they shut the door in her face and locked it."Another fire hazard" They also locked me out would not let me in after already being inside for a hour and I had kids inside after running to the car for something. Very bad customer service. Then a very tall woman calling herself the manager was "left to deal with us" blocked the walkway by leaning on the desk and would not move out of my way l so I can finish walking into the building, after they said i could go to my kids. She was very confrontational. I will not be bringing my kids back here. I seriously think that if you are over capacity you should stop there and not continue to let a hundred people in. Then let those people in as others leave. As being part of the community you should teach the residence of antelope with kindness and respect. If you can not handle a situation that is when you get your manager. I've been coming here for years and I'm very disappointed in your actions!!!! read more

It was a little chaotic, and the lifeguards were a bit lackadaisical about enforcing the under 7 rule (which I thought was a tad extreme), but my kids loved it and I was able to relax in the beach entry part of the pool while watching them run around with their friends. We came for a birthday party and I immediately inquired about booking a party for my daughter. (the under 7 rule was that kids under 7 must be within arms reach of an adult at all times - a bit extreme to me, but with all those kids running around, I understand the extra percaution) Expensive? hardly! We have been taking our son here since he was an infant for spring/summer swim lessons and we love the Antelope Aquatic Complex! Not only a great place for swim lessons for the kids but a fun inexpensive way to spend a hot summer day! Beware that it can get SUPER crowded so if you are looking to spend part of your day there get there early! The only downfall about this aquatic complex for me that i noticed this past year is that the instructors/lifeguards spend a lot of time chatting among themselves when I wish they spent more time watching the children and during swim lessons teaching/interacting with the children. I understand they are younger staff and a little here and there no big deal but especially this past year (summer '18) swim lessons the staff chatted among themselves more than ever and that was really disappointing for me as the parent to pay/watch but my son didn't know the wiser as he is only 4 and still enjoyed himself and the facility is very clean and convenient location so for that they are still getting 4 stars! Decent pool but lots of barking lifeguards and expensive. ($5/adult $4/kid) During my visit the pool was cleared for an hour and no one told us why. Apparently a kid pooped in the pool and it needed to be chemically treated. No refunds no apology. Also, they will not let some kids down the slides "due to height restrictions" and state law, but other kids who are below height restrictions can go. Seems to be whether or not they like the look of your child. Pros: nice water park area for toddlers read more
