Before PebbleTec Pool Surface, staining brick, light or drains. Pool Empty.

Pool plaster needed to be replaced due to damage. Had the old plaster removed, then the main drain was updated to two drains with a new pipe to a new skimmer. They also removed a water fill pipe that was a tripping hazard and installed an auto fill system. They replaced the old light assembly and ring, so the light could be properly installed and finally work. They then stained the existing brick work around the pool. They then replastered the pool using PebbleTec, which is far nicer than standard plaster. They came out to start on the pool very quickly and did a good job on everything they did. The only thing that I had a problem with was going into the backyard without first notifying me. The owner would knock on the door first, but the workers would usually just show up in the backyard. I would recommend this company; you just need to watch your animals do not get out.

Watch out for this guy. Since he came in to check on my pool that I needed service right away as the algae was getting out of control, so the very first moment by himself checking on the pool, he showed me that the filter was leaking and the meter on top, he put tape telling that it was broken, something that It was perfectly fine before he came in. I trusted the guy as probably he was right. He then send me an invoice for $602. I paid and he started coming every week, since the beginning of August. Then, my pool has a cascade like fall from the spa that was working fine. Suddenly, it stopped working and I texted Ahmed about it. Then, he replied telling me that something is wrong with a pipe and will cost $400 and he will take care of it. By then, what I suspect, I was right, this guy is a crooked. Don't trust him. Stay away, and look for someone that is a honest human being. For being desperate, I agreed to help me even though, I didnt trust my instinct that he was a dishonest scum bag. I hope karma will take care of him. Money is money, but is painful to give it away to a person like this that take advantage of others....

Owner Tony Ahmed is SO easygoing and loves to please his clients! His crew is very agreeable too. The crew was in the middle of doing the demolition and I saw the floor tile - the choice was blue or black I told Tony blue ( without looking at the color in person). When I saw the color during demolition job site I saw that it was not going to match the blue wall tile and freaked out. I called Tony and said this blue will not work, bring the black (and he was on the way to job site ) . Can you guess what Tony did? He turned his truck around and worked his magic (not even knowing if they had the black tile in stock ) and brought the black tile to job site on time before that area was worked on no problem - with a big smile on his face. He has been in direct communication with me and our pool cleaning guy from day one through the start up (NOTE:startup cleaning process is not included in pool plastering price and runs under a $1000 But he can give you instructions on doing it yourself takes about five full days of constant cleaning of the plaster to get rid of the dust that needs to be removed from the pool) Sparkling Pool Plastering Service of Fontana is still in communication with us. They serve all of Southern California too. Now THAT'S Customer Service!

After! Safety fence was also installed!

We had Sparkling Pool Service rehab the pool on our latest project. They did a fabulous job. The plaster was replaced, tile redone, decking removed and replaced, a small retaining wall with lights, and added pebbletek to the inside pool surface. It turned out beautiful! It was done quickly and efficiently! I would recommend them!

Ahmed gave me a very fair bid to repair and re plaster and re tile and I couldn't have been more pleased with the completed job.

I've dealt with many contractors over the years, and I can honestly say this was the most hassle-free and rewarding contracted project I've ever managed. After 22 years my pool needed to be replastered and all the equipment replaced. From the start it was clear FM paid close attention to every detail and made sure I was well informed and had all my questions answered before making final decisions. At every step and stage of the restoration I was given the pros and cons and advice when I needed it. It was reassuring to have a discussion on previous and emerging trends in styles, colors, and equipment. It helps that FM has been around for a long time. They know what has and has not worked. From the precision of the tile alignment to the beauty of the stone and glass pebbled surface, every part of our pool displays quality and craftsmanship. FM provided a fair, competitive price that didn't sacrifice quality. I know there are higher end ways to go but I now feel like I have a "luxury" pool for an incredible price. There were no hidden fees or surprises mid-build. The crew showed up when they said they would, kept the site as clean as possible, and kept me updated through every phase. It's rare to find a company that actually delivers on its promises, but I feel FM exceeded what they said they would do. If you want the job done right the first time without breaking the bank, give them a call. You won't regret it!

He said we were second in line and he'd have it to us no later than Thursday. Unfortunately, nothing came through. At this point, we decided to pass, as the lack communication was disappointing.

I bought my home in the summer of 2024 and during the inspection was told, very matter‑of‑factly,…read morethat I had maybe one--possibly two--good summers left before the pool would need resurfacing. Spoiler alert: that prediction was spot‑on. The black algae that had been lurking in the decades‑old plaster started popping through like an uninvited guest who really doesn't take a hint, no matter how hard I tried to fight it. After a summer packed with great pool parties (worth it), I decided winter was the perfect time to handle the pool glow‑up. So I did the responsible homeowner thing: I got quotes. Five companies later, I had prices ranging from $8,500 to $20,000 and a surprising number of "optional upgrades." One vendor even offered to put a turquoise tortoise--yes, an actual mosaic tortoise--at the bottom of my pool for an extra $3-4K. Did I want it? Absolutely not. Do I adore the phrase "turquoise tortoise"? Absolutely yes. In the end, I chose Waterscape, mostly because the pricing made sense, and the communication was quick and easy via text. My only real goal was simple: resurface the pool, update the tile, and keep the whole thing under $10K. Mission accomplished. They sent over a DocuSign, gave me a one‑week December timeline, and the whole thing ran like a well‑oiled (and extremely punctual) machine: Monday, 9am-12pm: Full demolition of the old plaster Wednesday, 9am-1pm: Tile installation Saturday, 9am-12pm: New plaster poured And just like that: Brand‑new pool! After that, I stuck to the four‑week maintenance plan--daily brushing, treating the water, and absolutely zero heating of the pool or spa. Now that the curing period is done, the hot tub is officially back in action. Overall? Five stars. Smooth process, clear communication, no turquoise tortoises forced upon me, and a pool that's finally as ready for summer 2025 as I am.
