Included in the event was Carnival Blancs, Carnival Rosé, and Carnival Rouge, and each wine was very good; well-balanced and enjoyable to sip. The food pairing was fun and seasonal. The chocolate raspberry parfait was very rich, the strawberry cakesickle was sweet but tasty, and the apple crumble mini pie was my favorite of the three.....comforting and just the right amount of sweetness. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Overall, it was a lovely experience. We did two different tasting flights indoor, a table by the window with comfortable & elegant setting and bought 4 bottles home. They have really nice outdoor seatings as well, I wished the weather wasn't that hot so we could enjoy the beautiful scenery outdoor! Stopped by Sparkling Pointe during our visit to North Fork area and had a great time! They have a variety of sparkling wines and I really liked how the two flights are designed. The Flagship flight is more sweet, while the Prestige flight had more complex flavors and with drier notes. The Carnaval Rose and the Carnaval Blancs were my top twos from the former set, while the Brut Seduction was my favorite from the latter set. Loved how the advertised flavors really came through. Pacing of the wines also were appropriate. For snacks, they have cheeses, chocolate, and other small bites. The small Cheese Board came with 3 different NY state cheese; ours included a cheddar, goat cheese, and a soft cheese. Compared to some of the other wineries in the area, I liked how they have a large indoor space including a larger back room for bigger parties. Gave my wife a gift certificate and wanted to try Sparkling Pointe. We made reservations for 1:00 on a Saturday. We were greeted and had a choice where to sit. The main room, outside or the bubble room. We chose the somewhat private bubble room. It was off the main room, a little above and very quaint. The entire place had a modern decor and very inviting and relaxing. Our server Patrick came over and welcomed us with a glass each of 2019 Blanc de Blancs and explain the menu and our options. What a nice touch. We chose to Grand Tasting Flight of 4 Sparkling Wines and a Small Cheese Board. Patrick came with our first flight of 2019 Brut and then our cheese board, then periodically we were served the other 3 flights, 2021 Topaz Impérial Brut Rosé, 2014 Brut Seduction and the 2020 Cuvée Carnaval Blancs. Between each serving Patrick told us an in dept description of each. We were not rushed all, we enjoyed the Sparkling wines, cheeses and crackers, atmosphere and the attention given to us by our server. Time passed by quickly as we were there for an hour and half. When were done we were told if we purchased 2 bottles, we would receive one flight for free, 4 bottles 2 flights for free. Since we had a gift certificate and money still left, we purchased 2 bottles. It was a pretty good incentive. This was a very nice afternoon spending time out east sipping sparkling wine and our server Patrick was very informative, attentive, polite and efficient which made a very delightful experience. I was the DD on this trip so I was unable to indulge in the Sparkling but the Pointe was beautiful! My friends did the tastings and it seemed fair for the price. You get 4 half glasses and they bring them to you one at a time so they stay chilled. They use the nifty glass holder so their hands don't warm the glass. The staff were nice, professional, and knowledgeable. With suggestions on champagne and pairing they offer. The plot its self is beautiful, wide open story rows and rows of grapes where you can walkthrough and take photos. Only thing that is unfortunate is the parking lot is super small and parking is kind of a pain. read more

When my partner and I arrived after strawberry picking on a nearby farm, we were warmly greeted by the hostess and seated immediately facing the vineyard. The umbrella covering our table kept us cool while we enjoyed some complimentary bubbly. We opted for the grand tasting flight with the small cheese board and were impressed. The service is attentive and personable even though our server was new. She made sure to walk us through the flavor notes of each champagne and did not make us feel rushed. Our favorites of the champagnes was the 2011 topaz imperial rose and the 2014 brut seduction. The cheese board featured three cheeses which seemed to be a combination of brie, cheddar, and goat cheese and all were delicious and decadent when paired with the sweetness of the wine. Definitely take the tour at least once. I'll admit that I was very excited to visit a vineyard that was solely dedicated to sparkling wine. We came with another couple and since this was going to be the first time for all of us at this winery we reserved the Unraveling Methode Champenoise tour. We arrived at the building which was bright and beautiful and after a warm welcome we were given a glass of their Brut Nature while we waited for the tour to start. Our guide, Jean, was fantastic, answering all of our questions while keeping us well entertained with his sense of humor. We have been through tours at other wineries before but what made this one unique was that we got to do tastings as we went through the different areas. Besides enhancing our experience, this had the added benefit of giving us a decent pause between tastings with our final glass being served at the table when we were done. We stayed on afterwards to enjoy the cheese and charcuterie along with another glass of wine. The entire staff was attentive and truly seemed dedicated to making us feel comfortable. However, when my husband checked the case, we found it packed with six $40 bottles instead of the six $70 bottles we paid for. Initially, the staff didn't believe us, but they resolved the issue after we showed the receipt. (Mind you, if he hadn't checked we'd have driven off about $180 short with no proof to make it right.) Sparkling wine and sparkling service. By coming early we snagged a last minute seat (without a reservation). I would definitely recommend getting a reservation. They give you a free sample upon taking your order. We went with the grand sampler and then added more samples for just $5 more. Tip: if you buy two bottles you get the sampler for free. The only thing I was disappointed about was that they changed the back room to all tables and chairs. There used to be a cozy couch back there by the fireplace they have. I chose this vineyard specifically for that vibe, as it's cold out...so was disappointed that they got rid of it. It's a very cold atmosphere and the acoustics remind me of a cafeteria. I appreciated the COVID protocols (waiting in your car until your appointment time; meeting the host/server at the door; Server strictly and correctly wore their masks and we were required to mask-up whenever a staff member approached the table; QRC codes to review the menu from your cell phone). I also found the server to be perfectly genuinely polite. He was so informative. I regret that I don't recall his name but he deserves full honors. I went with a four person party. I recall that we each did tasting flights as well as an additional bottle of Rosé. We also ordered some cheese plates which came with these fantastic preserves/jams, the likes of which I haven't tastes since a trip to Croatia. The outdoor dining area was pristine as was the interior. The vinyeards themselves looked picture perfect. A unique, gorgeous North Fork winery specializing in bubbly - my dream come true! From the professional, polite staff to the beautiful building and grounds, Sparkling Pointe is first class all the way. Made a reservation on Resy for a Tuesday morning slot, texted when we arrived and a very friendly staff member came out to greet us. We were shown to a spacious outdoor table on the porch where we enjoyed a refreshing ceiling fan breeze and expansive views of the vineyard. Sparkling Pointe takes its COVID precautions very seriously; menus are accessed on your smart phone, everyone is masked at all times (except when drinking of course) and the place was sanitized constantly by pleasant staff members. We were lucky to get Stanton as our host, a very knowledgeable and personable guy. There are two flights to choose from and we decided to go with the Flagship Flight ($20) rather than the Prestige Flight ($30) since Stanton described the former as more fruity which we like. In fact we loved this flight so much that we decided to purchase a case of the included Carnaval Blanc to take home. Also shared the snail caviar, small white eggs that were OK but kinda bland. Still peckish so followed that up with a truly sublime cheese platter, still dreaming about their locally sourced chevre cheese and tamarind fig jam. Sparkling Pointe has a wine club which we signed up for at no charge. The club entitles members to 10 Free flights per year; 25% discount on all bubbly purchases; and 10% off food. The only requirement is to purchase 2 cases of any of their sparkling wines per year. Those discounts are quite generous so we jumped on that, therefore our flights were comped. Sparkling Pointe may not be the cheapest winery on the North Fork, but IMHO it's the most elegant and unique. The place was super busy even on a Tuesday so reservations are a must. Such a pretty upscale Sparkling Pointe is. Beautiful wide open clean modern feel space. They had a nice fire going in the main tasting room. We were all excited a fun way to kick off a girls night! Came here and we had the last seating for their cupcake and sparkling wine pairing. We had the 530 seating. We were a little disappointed because as soon as 6pm rolled around lights were getting shut we were not able to purchase any to drink on the cite because they were closing. Chairs were being turned upside down, lights got brighter... A little disappointed to feel rushed. I understand they were closing however make your last event at 5pm so if people choose to purchase a bottle they can to enjoy. We were a group of 7. I enjoyed the fig cupcake and the raspberry one. What a fun day out at the North Fork! We started around noon and finally made it to Sparkling Pointe for a nice, relaxing tasting with Kelly. We enjoyed a great sampling of a variety of sparkling wines during the off season. The warm fireplace was going and it was a great way to spend New Year's eve day before all of the festivities started. I would definitely not hesitate going back again to enjoy these wonderful sparkling wines. What a treat! It was a perfect time of year to beat the crowds. I reserve the table for 10 since my family was out visiting on the north Fork. My mother, a NYer who is quite selective in her wine choices, was pleasantly surprised at the quality of wine at this vineyard, which is strictly sparkling wines. We met the Long Island owner who was a really lovely man, and he explained his penchant for Brazil and Rio--Brazilian elements are present in the space both inside and out. Go get the Carnaval Rouge! I shouldn't let the ‍ outta the bag but this is a great wine ! It is a bit on the sweet side, not dry at all but it is not available all year. It was recently with only a limited number of cases. Sparkling Pointe has become one of my husband and I's favorite wineries. Some of it has to do with us having one of our first dates there, another is that the owners are huge lovers of Brazil and he is from there so he always feels at home. The staff is always extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. COVID restrictions have been on par since they reopened, and we always have a great visit. I really can't say enough good things about this place but if there is one thing I wish, it would be that I wish they had more food, the cheese plates just don't do it for me! read more

I made reservations for a weekend with a group of friends. There's a parking lot in front of the venue and they also have restrooms at the entrance too right when you walk in. The place was pretty cute with a vineyard outside and a bunch of tables with umbrellas. We all got the flagship flight ($20) and it comes with tastings of 3 wine. They also gave us a complimentary sample in the beginning too. For food we got the cheese board and added sausage to it. The cheese board also came with honey and some jam along with bread and crackers. We also got a large bag of chips ($5). All the wine that we tasted was good and you could purchase bottles there too to bring back. Everything was good but when we wanted to get a class towards the end they were closed for cleaning so I wish we got a 10 min heads up before that so we couldn't gotten a glass of wine each. read more

The view of the vineyard from the outdoor seating area is beautiful. I recommend ordering one of their two flight tasting options so you can taste more of their wines. My only complaint was that the prices of the bottles of wine were pricey. They charge an extra $15 fee to enjoy their bottles on the premises which seems sort of silly if you ask me. This was our first time to the wineries in the north fork. Sparkling Pointe was our first stop on our mini tour! We made reservations online a couple of weeks prior, and they had a cancellation policy of $20 per person if you no-showed. On our way there from Manhattan, we hit some traffic, and tried to call ahead to move the reservation back a little. They were not very accommodating about this, stating that there was only a 15 minute grace period before they cancelled our reservation. We rushed to get there to find that there were a ton of tables open. Regardless, once we sat down, we had a better experience. As soon as we sat down, we received a complimentary sparking wine on the house. We ordered two of the sparkling flights, which came with four small tastings each. We also ordered a bag of chips for the table. Our server was very nice and knowledgable, and gave a little tidbit about each tasting as she brought it out. They spaced the tastings out about 10 minutes per wine, which was a nice touch! It gave you the chance to really enjoy the experience. There were a few two person tables on the bottom floor, and then up a few steps they had many tables for bigger groups. They also had an outdoor area on the patio, but the weather was rainy/cold on the day we went, so it was pretty empty outside. Compared to the other wineries we went to in the north fork, this is definitely one of the more posh, upscale, and expensive ones. After we were finished with our flight, they gave a paper with an option to buy bottles to take home, or there was a small giftshop by the entrance. The outside was very beautiful! I wish the weather was warmer so we could have walked around more, because it definitely seemed like a beautiful vineyard. Overall, the wine was very good, but the vibes are definitely different than other wineries in the area- just depends what you're looking for. This was a very interesting and unique vineyard experience. I was expecting it to be very upscale and fancy given the website and fact that they serve sparkling wine although it was actually quite casual. The sparkling wine and macaron pairing was a must. Both the wine and macarons were very good and the waitress katie was incredibly friendly and helpful. One thing that was strange / out of place to us was the degree to which Brazilian culture was in incorporated into the space (tv videos of parades, paintings, etc).
