I had the gin and tonic there and left with a bottle of gewurztraminer. The waitresses thought that I would enjoy it since I like gin and boy was she right! The service is friendly and the wine is great and bonus! They have a great bakery in the front. The almond cookies are to die for :) Go! Have fun! Drink :)

And the Lemon Drop cocktail- wow! The highlight of our visit was Monica. Her warmth, enthusiasm, and knowledge made the entire experience special. She took the time to learn what we enjoyed, guided us through several wine selections and made us feel like welcomed friends. Her recommendations were spot-on, and we left with several bottles thanks to her expertise! We also loved the atmosphere. No loud parties, no children running amok, just people relaxing, enjoying great wine, and actually talking to one another. It felt more like an Italian palazzo than a typical tasting room, a place where you can linger and savor the moment. Don't leave without trying the olive oil cake or the Italian granola! We left with full bellies, great wine, and plans to return as soon as possible. One Woman has outstanding wine, delicious food, and a beautiful setting, but Monica's hospitality is what turned a great afternoon into a unforgetable one. One Woman you are my One Favorite!

The grounds are simple and rustic, a bit worn in and old farm-like, but that is its appeal. The service could not have been warmer or friendlier. Sit outside and enjoy the flock of chickens coming up to you. And the wine was delicious as well!

The vineyard is beautiful, peaceful, and well kept, with open views and a relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind and enjoy your surroundings. It feels calm and welcoming without being crowded or overwhelming. The service was good throughout our visit. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful when it came to explaining the wines and guiding tastings. Everything felt organized and unhurried, which allowed us to really take our time and enjoy the experience. They were attentive when needed but also gave plenty of space, which added to the laid back vibe. The wine was pretty good overall. There was a nice variety available, and while not every wine stood out, several were enjoyable and well balanced. The quality matched the relaxed setting and made for a pleasant tasting. It is the kind of wine you can easily enjoy while sitting outside and taking in the scenery. Overall Old Field Vineyard offers good service, great ambience, and pretty good wine in a lovely setting. It may not be the most standout vineyard on the North Fork, but it is absolutely worth a visit if you are looking for a relaxing and enjoyable wine tasting experience. A strong four star destination.

The vineyard has grown over the years with a new tasting room having been built including a patio and outdoor seating area. There is a good selection of wine with most having won awards for taste and quality. This is a family run business and one of the family is usually present for any questions. Joining the Wine Club is also an option for receiving a regular selection of wines throughout the year and the potential for discounts on purchases. The pictures that may be attached to this review are many years old from a previous post/review and are of the old building/tasting room. I choose not to remove them for nostalgia purposes. You will be able to see how the vineyard has grown over the years.

Their reds are outstanding and you can't believe this wine is coming from Long Island, you would swear it's coming from Italy. Definitely one of my favorites and highly recommend to those looking for a great afternoon to hang out with friends and family and enjoy a fabulous Cabernet Sauvignon and all the fun of this vineyard.

The outdoor setting is absolutely breathtaking, with beautiful vineyard views that make for a relaxing afternoon. However, one downside we noticed was that nearly every chair outside had bird droppings on them. It didn't seem like they were regularly cleaned, which took away from the otherwise stunning setting. On the bright side, the indoor space is just as welcoming-and even better, dogs are allowed inside! It's also worth noting that while they don't serve food, several guests brought their own snacks to enjoy with their wine, which seems to be encouraged.
