Her recommendations were spot-on, and we left with several bottles thanks to her expertise! We also loved the atmosphere. No loud parties, no children running amok, just people relaxing, enjoying great wine, and actually talking to one another. It felt more like an Italian palazzo than a typical tasting room, a place where you can linger and savor the moment. Don't leave without trying the olive oil cake or the Italian granola! We left with full bellies, great wine, and plans to return as soon as possible. The vineyard has grown over the years with a new tasting room having been built including a patio and outdoor seating area. There is a good selection of wine with most having won awards for taste and quality. This is a family run business and one of the family is usually present for any questions. Joining the Wine Club is also an option for receiving a regular selection of wines throughout the year and the potential for discounts on purchases. The pictures that may be attached to this review are many years old from a previous post/review and are of the old building/tasting room. I choose not to remove them for nostalgia purposes. You will be able to see how the vineyard has grown over the years.

On the bright side, the indoor space is just as welcoming-and even better, dogs are allowed inside! It's also worth noting that while they don't serve food, several guests brought their own snacks to enjoy with their wine, which seems to be encouraged.

I always opt for one of the wine flights, and the lobster roll is a must order. The winery is beautiful, the service is wonderful, and the entire experience feels like a dream. Everywhere you look there is picture perfect scenery. There is a shop where you can purchase wine, candles and other locally sourced items. Although this space isn't typically used for events, the set up, service, and food was impressive. The way the food was presented, was perfect with the atmosphere. Everything was clean and the grounds including the parking lot were well maintained. Although I've never been here during normal operation, I will absolutely be back and will be sure to be recommending croteaux to others!
