This winery was stunning! It was so pretty. The outdoor area was lovely but the bees were attracted to my oil scent and they started courting me so we had to go inside to a table. They have a bunch of indoor plants and it gave it just a charming feel. I had a really good sandwich cause I needed to eat with the vineyard hopping we planned for the day. Long Islands wine country is the hidden gem ya'll didn't know you needed! If you aren't going to the vineyard out there, whatcha doing!? I enjoyed the wine flight, laughter with my friends. Great winery on the north fork that has some great wine, food, and vibes. The wine was very good with the NOFO bottle being our favorite. The cabernet franc was also very good. Food wise they had a bunch of tapas and paninis to choose from. The whipped ricotta with honey was amazing and came with some nice grilled French bread. The caprese panini was also very good. Service wise, matt was great; super helpful and had good recommendations. The property was very nice and had an italian vibe. It was also super quite, as it was off the main road, which was nice. A new favorite winery on my regular North Fork trips. This is the old Diliberto winery. Terra Vite is now three years old and I am sorry that we only got here this year. A thoroughly delightful-resting spot with a nice selection of wines. A little off the regular trail we came [mid-week] to find that there was only one other couple there and they were leaving. We took this time to try some very nice wine relax and speak with the owner Jacqui, who had her young child in tow. What lovely lady... They say that an important part of the wine experience is sharing and being with friends. That is how I felt just minutes after speaking with Jacqui. We sampled and enjoyed a few of the wines: 2022 Sauvignon Blanc - Soft citrus and melon notes on the nose, followed by bright Meyer lemon on the palate. Bright, vibrant acidity and crisp finish. Estate grown, fermented in stainless steel. 2022 White Merlot - Notes of apricot and fresh gardenia on the nose. An explosion of bing cherry and white peach on the palate. Made from 100% red merlot grapes, no skin contact. Fermented in steel. 2019 Cabernet Franc - Light, fresh, notes of sour cherry on the palate. A white wine drinkers dream! 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon - Light to medium bodied. It looks like some of the older reviews on here are from when this property was under the previous owners (I think it used to be called Delbertos). TerraVite Vineyard has been under new ownership for several years now, and it's an entirely different experience. The atmosphere is beautiful, the staff is warm and attentive, and the wine selection is truly outstanding. Absolutely loved my visit to TerraVite Vineyard. It's such a hidden gem, tucked a little off the beaten path but completely worth the drive. The property is beautiful and has that cozy, authentic Italian charm. The wine selection is incredible and the service was outstanding. Everyone was so friendly and genuinely welcoming. What really surprised me was the food menu. It was not what I expected from a vineyard. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. They also have a lovely gift shop filled with items imported from Italy, which adds such a special touch to the whole experience. I can't wait to go back. I love this small "off the grid" winery. Nice outdoor section for the summer and nice inviting atmosphere inside for the winter. Staff is always very friendly and kind. Their aperol spritz is always a hit, specifically their limoncello spritz. Their figgie sandwich is a delicious light bite before heading out east for the rest of the day. Such a nice experience, will definitely come back! I wish the previous winery reviews weren't on Yelp because this is a totally different business. My husband, son and myself enjoyed a beautiful day at Terra Vite. The staff was super friendly, we never had to wait long for anything. Beautiful ambiance, kid friendly & a mom & pop feel. Only thing I would suggest is offering tap water instead of having to pay for bottled. I thought that was a rule in NYS but I could definitely be wrong! Usually when people are consuming alcohol they want a good amount of water. I also thought there could be bigger portions for the price. however, I know they are a small business so understand they may have to charge more for food, especially if it is from a vendor. We stopped here at the recommendation of one of the small farm stand owners. This is a small quaint winery, I loved the vibe very chill...we went into the gift shop and met a lovely lady where I purchased a bottle of perfume. the shop is adorable and they have beautiful items. we went inside for some wine and were seated outside....it was just beautiful....we had a charcuterie board and a bottle of red the only thing I would say is when they say meat and cheese its mostly cheese and very little meats...but all in all delicious! the ladies were lovely and we felt at home...I will definitely visit again! thank you for a really nice day read more

We visited Terra Vite with several little kiddies on a weekday after nearby strawberry picking. Terra Vite is a small little winery bursting with charm. I appreciate that they are family friendly! We came one hour before closing so it wasn't crowded. Since it wasn't crowded we had our choice of seats and chose the covered patio, a sweet spot of some shade and space for the kids to run. I had their limoncello spritz at the recommendation of my sister in law and it was fantastic! We also munched on the charcuterie board which was beautifully put together. Very cool speak-easy vibe inside the tasting room. This tasting room has the same decorator as Rose Hill Vineyard. They don't have very late hours which is a shame because I felt like I didn't get as much time as I would have liked out there. I enjoyed my rose and they also offer a few cocktails which is nice as an option. The waitress was incredibly nice and helpful and gave us a sample of two of the wines so that I could decide which to order. Hailey and Matt were awesome! And we completely forgot our game (rummikub) at home but Hailey went out of her way and searched their closet and they happened to have it. The food was out of this world! It was so nice to find a vineyard that had REAL food and not just packaged. My only complaint (and why I didn't give 5 stars) is because it was absolutely freezing inside and the seating was extremely uncomfortable. But the food, the drinks and the service was on point!! Living on Long Island we are fortunate to have wineries all over. I have been to 20 different ones so far and I finally found one that stands out. Terra Vite is amazing. It will be my destination from now on. The tasting room reminded me more of my house than a winery. This may sound odd, but I am not a huge wine fan. Most wines are just too dry for me. What stood out at this winery is that in addition to wine they had beer and some amazing cocktails. If you go, you have to have the apple cider one. They have many food choices. My first time I decided to go simple. The cheese board blew me away. Most wineries put a few pieces of cheese and a pile of crackers. This was an amazing board with different tastes and textures. My husband and I have been exploring the wineries out in North Fork for a few years now and to be honest this spot wasn't really on our radar. I'm quick to jump on yelp and browse all the photos of a potential place and thought eh to the 3.5 stars. However, my husband was craving a good red wine, and blog had recommended Terra Vite so we figured we'd give it a go. We started with their two spritz cocktails that were lovely and refreshing and shared the Luca panini and the whipped ricotta w/honey & pistachios. Disclaimer: Did not drink/eat indoors but did buy a bottle to go and based on that wine it's a 5/5 for me. We tried the Cabernet Franc 2017, handpicked & estate grown, the bottle describes the tasting notes as: raspberry, black currant and sweet green bell pepper... Agree with that, minus the green bell pepper (did not get that at all). Medium bodied. With tax the bottle came to $35 which is definitely a very pretty penny for wine but for a gift or a spectacular meal I dig it. The tasting room is small but the outdoor seating area is bigger and right on the vineyard. Something to look forward to in warmer weather. read more

They have two structures, one is the main building where its the main dining area. It has nice Italian tiles, its looks like a little slice of Sicily. The other structure would be a nice place for a baby/bridle shower. And in the back is where we sat today, in the sunny vineyard listing to a solo singer who sounded dynamite. My wife wanted a rose, they were out so she chose their Sauvignon blanc. I had their Tru red wine. This was a bold wine, which is what I love! Their website isn't too helpful, it doesn't promote their wine or their wine making process. We had a freshly pizza by a woman from Italy, imported Italian olives and a singer who sounded just like Jewel. 5 Yelp stars for bringing me back to my family, today reminded me of Sunday dinner at my grandmothers house. This is my new favorite winery. First and most important in my opinion is that it's Adults only. Yes!!!! I can't even tell you how many times I have been to a winery with screaming children, kids knocking down chairs, bottles etc while their parents get drunk and ignore them. This was a nice intimate setting with a decent amount of outdoor tables as well as patio seating. Umbrellas to keep out the sun while you have a nice view of the vineyard. My friend and I purchased a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc for $35. They gave us throwaway plastic glasses which was a nice touch in COVID times. I usually drink red wine but the Sauvignon Blanc was very nice and very good. They also had pizzas, meat and cheese boards, etc for purchase. We didn't try any but the pizza looked and smelled amazing. This is now my new go-to winery. Can't wait to come back. read more

My friend treated me as her plus one to this winery for the Groupon deal she purchased for a pizza pie and two glasses of wine. The winery itself is probably the smallest I've ever been to but it has charm and is quaint and homey. We sat down and immediately menus were brought out. They have a super small selection of wine and only one style of pizza you can eat. I was a bit surprised by this. I chose savinaugn blanc as my wine choice because I'm a huge fan. However their version was pretty bad, it tasted like water! I felt not even an ounce of buzz after drinking a full glass! I guess they water it down due to the Groupon deal. The pizza on the other hand was fantastic!! Fresh mozzarella, fresh tomatoes and super flaky crust were found all up in this baby! I was really impressed with the pizza selection. Not the best I've ever had but still pretty good. This place is cute and they have a nice atmosphere. The walls were my favorite decor aspect. read more

A solid, but expensive, three star experience. Everything about this winery screams 3 stars. It's so close to being a four or five star visit, but it's suffering from one to many problems. The grounds small, and that's okay; however, they could take better care of the grass on the rows. They're not unacceptable, they just aren't as cared for as some of the other wineries in the area. The food isn't bad, but the dishes are pricey and quite small. The olives didn't look fresh. I think I would have gotten something similar at a dive bar. The flatbread was fantastic! The pours are super stingy. There's no way to sugarcoat that one. The picture I posted is about what you get for a flight. I don't expect an entire glass; however, four flights might barely get you above half a glass of wine. Incredibly disappointing for the price tag. I'm not expecting "generous pours" --even if that would be nice; however, a fair pour is the expectation. Wine was decent, but not unbelievable. Our favorite was the Sauvignon Blanc. I don't usually like rose--but I enjoyed the one that they offered. All in all--I don't know if I would go back. I didn't have a bad time, but I've been to better wineries. Do not waste your time please. I am never one to complain about anything, as I am usually easily satisfied; however this place made me leave angry and with the worse experience. Therefore, I want to help someone else from going through my experience. First of all the wine was horrible horrible and the tasting were a disgusting joke!! It was such a small drop, well thank God since the wine was horrible in tasting. RGNY was a delightful with their tasting. See picture attached. We ordered a pizza which took almost an hour and we also ordered their special drink for the day, which she apologized because it was only club soda lime and wine, she was out of the strawberry purée The worse part is that my daughter who never complains, wrote her own opinion about her experience and got hampered by the owner. What kind of professional is unable to take a simple critique and yet attack? You would think he would apologize for the experience and move on, he went as far as writing back in a nasty way. Unreal! Funny you answered my post, sorry to burst your bubble, but we did complained and your wife came over. Which was nice for her to apologize and explain you had one person working the pizza. Me and my girlfriends LOVED Terra Vite! They recently renovated this space and was pretty packed. Both their Sauvignon blanc and aperol spritz were very good - in fact, a few of us bought their wine home so that's saying something. We actually came here with a last minute resy after going to another winery that was cute, but with not-so-good wine. Their charcuterie board was also delicious - we asked for more crackers and they gave it to us without any extra charge! They have corn holes and live music too - we stumbled on a good day when there was also a TV crew filming there for a show. The wine was good but not the best. I got a tasting of 4 wines (3 white 1 rose). The Sauv Blanc was very heavy and sweet and the rose tasted like water with an essence of a wine flavor. We didn't know we couldn't bring our own food as someone brought a previous time they went. The place was simple, the staff was fine. There were way too many bees though.
