This Carwash in ok it's a nice quick and easy spot but 3 stars because what gas station/ car wash combo doesn't offer cash back at all? What a total middle finger to the employees who need a tip. Local car washes in the area allow tip back on credit cards even don't expect that everywhere but for not even $5 back on a debit card when you know the car washers need a tip is insanity. I was skeptical because of the reviews of this place. I decided to try it out anyways and it was actually good my first time. I thought price was right for what you get. They vacuum the inside, run the car through a machine and dry at the end by hand. I have been about 5 times and did have a problem once about them losing my car magnet and the manager being rude about the situation. I contacted their corporate customer service and they were superb! They resolved the issue and I'd recommend for you to try this place out. read more

There was a back up of cars and it was delaying the final phase of hand wipe down with cloths. And then a customer took their keys out of the car and that caused more delay until she was located. I gave it 3 out of 5, cause timing is everything to me out of car washes like this. But I'll give them 5 out of 5 for car wash. They do clean the cars really well. But I came in just for an exterior car wash, they have 3 lines that do different things... so you would think they would have in down packed to a system that's more time saving. So I came in at 10:30, with a meeting to be at around 11:30. A whole hour to get in and out a car wash like this.. BUT the three lines were packed. So my car waited in line for a good 25 minutes, before someone got in it to move it forward to the next ping of cars waiting on the automatic car wash. At this point it's 10:55, and my car has only moved from one spot to the next line.... now I'm waiting and waiting for my car to be up next for the automatic car wash, which was another 15 minutes. Now it's 11:10, and I'm texting my boss saying o might be late for the meeting.. (it should take me about 12 minutes to get to where I had to be). So now my car has gone through the car wash, and I tell the guys at the end of the tunnel. I'm sorry to rush but I'm really going to be late, I was even willing to help them dry the car out. By the time I got a quick dry off the car, it was 11:18.... and it was just such a cheap dry off, and I blame myself but also blame the fact that the system to which they wash cars may be a little flawed. My mother just got a car wash at Sparkling Image. Following the wash she checked the car to find a dirty car. The car was not cleaned $37.44 later. She waited an additional 15 minutes for them to re clean it - they cleaned it but, the manager was very unfriendly. Atrocious service. read more

I have been here since 1:16pm to have a Chevy cobolt cleaned inside and out. I am still here at 4pm. Only comment is it takes time. I have seen bigger cars get done in half the time. I was told 1 hour and 1/2 and I would be done. Company needs to monitor how long cars are here. Last time for this place. My day wasted. Missed a conference call. read more

Can I give no stars? After paying nearly $300 for a detail, they broke my front seats. They layed it flat (don't know why) and must have put force into it. I was able to fix the passenger side, but the driver's side is still broken. The assistant manager tried to fix it, no luck. Now I cannot drive the car long distance, it's unsafe since the seat back doesn't lock, making the seat belt useless. The manager's response was "we didn't do anything we weren't supposed to." They filled out an "incident report " where they claimed zero fault, although the car was fully functional when I dropped it off. If you want your car broken, take it there! Otherwise, avoid it at all cost, zero customer satisfaction. read more

The service from this location since the change of ownership to Sparkling Image has degraded so much that I will not return. I have purchased books for multiple washes from here, but no more. The cars come out dingy and the glass is so poorly cleaned that it show streaks as soon as it starts to dry. I brought my car back for correction and after much grief, it wasn't much better. If you are looking to get the worst experience in the car washing business, this is the place. Not only you will get your vehicle back dirty and possibly damaged, but should you choose to buy their promotional washes in advance consider your money gone. Judging from the experience of other customers, whose belongings stolen and vehicles damaged, just like in my case, I don't see how this place is still in business, but that explains why they hide under the fictitious name of Sparkling Image Car Wash with over five legal entities using the same name in an attempt to avoid making payments on any future judgments on their malicious enterprise. read more

This used to be my favorite car wash, but prices have increased and quality plus overall friendliness has decreased. They do a poor job of navigating vehicles through the line and I ended up getting bypassed by 4 cars that were originally behind me, adding another 10 min to my wait time in line. In late of October 2020 Sparking Image Car Wash clerk charged me $39.99 for three car washes and without my permission charged my credit card for monthly subscription for unlimited car wash service but did not say anything about. Later I discovered about this subscription when checked my bank statement. I immediately came to station which is about 2-3 miles away from my home, and talk to Sparking Image 006 Manager. He told me that subscription went automatically to my account. I said it is illegal and asked to cancel subscription. He did it and gave me receipt that subscription will be cancelled after December 16, 2020. I used my second car wash option when I paid for three car wash. Week later I found that for December card account charges for $39.99. Came back to station and was told that subscription has been cancelled after December 16, 2020 but they did not cancel first charge. When I came to car wash December 16, 2020 to wash my car, they said that no longer providing service for customers from City of Hollywood, FL after this date without any explanations and gave me the phone number in Massachusetts called Unlimited Wash Club to complain. Believe or not I called them more than dozen times but answering machine said that mail box is full, they are on vacation until 2020 and will be closed. Called them back January 5, 2021, same story, closed. January 6 some lady finally answered and after my explanation about all this story said: " It is to late to complain" and refused to issue me credit of $39.99 which left on my account. So, I lost my money because can't wash my car as victim of unexplained discrimination and refusal to give me my money back. Nobody from car wash never told me or notified me over phone about it. So, I am not going to court because it will cost me a lot of money but for those who making car service there, or buying gasoline, or washing car. To all of you here my my advise. Stay away from those scammers because sooner or later you will be next. I am giving them my personal rating: MY MIDDLE FINGER! Enjoy. read more

I've been coming to this location since before the turn of the century, so 20+ years. I always arrive knowing it will take at least an hour to get an oil change and car wash. I plan accordingly and only come on my days off. It's always packed which means they do a GREAT Job! I bring my laptop or paperwork to work on while I wait. They have bistro tables inside and benches outside to hang out at while you wait. I walk over to nearby restaurants and have a quick lunch while I wait, or I go buy a sub at Publix and bring it over to eat while I watch my car go through the wash. If during the inspection they find something like a nail in your tire or a filter that needs to be replaced, they call you or find you on site to ask if you want it or not and what it will cost. This is literally the only place I've had my cars serviced/washed and I can say NONE OF MY CARS HAVE EVER HAD ANY ISSUES! I sold them all in excellent condition with no mechanical issues. They have your account in the system so it's easy to get a print out of your maintenance history to show buyers. Yes, it takes a long time. Yes, the payment system is a little strange the first time you go. Yes, there are people from all walks of life getting their cars serviced and washed 24/7, some more cheerful than others. Yes, I've learned to keep my GREEN receipt to show I've paid in exchange for my keys. They have always done a great job with the free car wash when you get an oil change plus I always take advantage of their gasoline promos if you fill up on site during your oil change/car wash. I understand the place has changed it's name recently, and the ownership and management has changed over the years, but I think it's still top-notch. No matter where I've lived in South Florida, I've always made my maintenance drive to this place faithfully for 20+ years! Five stars then, now and hopefully forever! read more

A-OK. My white Lexus has been suffering neglect for months. The layer of dirt on the hood was inches deep and it was becoming embarrassing to drive the car. The inside of the car is black, so every single coffee, make-up and speck of dust showed prominently. I drove up early on a Saturday and they were already busy, but nothing that I couldn't handle. They were a little unclear on the explanation of what you get. I told them I didn't want carpet shampooed but I did want the inside detailed and the attendant did not seem to compute. I was charged $120 but I figured the car really needed it. I waited about 2 hours - passing the time inside the gas station sitting area watching TV and peering through the window as my car went through the automated wash. The detailing took forever so I expected near perfection. The attendant was very nice explaining to me that he tried every chemical he had but could not get the foundation make-up off the door or the steering wheel. I was basically in a hurry so I paid and left. I noticed that the seats still had crumbs and there were spots that were clearly untouched. Overall the car did look much better, but I'm surprised that they can't get off something as common as make-up. I would bring my car back here, but I probably would not pay to have it detailed again.
