Derby Car Wash used to be my go-to place, which makes this experience really disappointing. I live about 2 minutes away and have washed my car here several times. Unfortunately, this last visit may be my last. When I first got into the car, it looked okay, but once I took it outside in daylight, it was obvious that the cleaning was very poorly done. The entire front area was still dusty, as if it hadn't been wiped at all. The vacuuming was also not up to standard -- there were still a lot of small stones and debris (the little grit from the floor) left behind, which made it feel like the vacuum either wasn't working properly or wasn't used thoroughly. For almost $40 with tip, you expect a much better and more detailed clean. It's always sad when a business you like doesn't maintain the same standard of service. I hope this was just an off day, but this experience was very disappointing. read more

Prices are a little on the high side and my car wasn't fully cleaned to my standards. However this car wash is very convenient. It allows you to go shopping or enjoying Gulf Stream while your car is dropped off for service. It was a little hard to find at first, but the garage in general is hard to find at Gulf Stream. read more

Drove in to this hidden car wash located inside the garage at the Gulfstream with signs indicating where to go. When I pulled in immediately I was attended by a friendly attendant. He asked me what I needed. He told me what was available. He took care of it. They write down on windows if there's special request, of course gets washed away. There are about 10 stations with each one having a high-powered vacuum all the tools necessary to get the job done. In a small waiting area otherwise you go walk around the golf stream shopping so I didn't find a coffee shop . Best thing is affordable prices accompanies the great service and excellent quality of car wash. Definitely recommend this place . read more

Horrific experience. I dropped my car off for a basic Derby Wash (in/out) and later received a text saying I was being upgraded to the Wet Wax treatment--for an extra $10. Obviously I hadn't requested this, and no one answered when I called to ask what was going on. So I had to go back. When I spoke to the manager, he claimed he had to charge me more because the car was "too dirty." Isn't that the whole point of getting a car wash? I told him I hadn't been informed of any upcharge, and he insisted he told me. If he did, I genuinely didn't hear it--he was a mumbler, and I'd already asked him once to repeat himself when he was asking where the keys were. Regardless, it's basic customer service to clearly communicate any added charges--especially before applying them. Things escalated into a heated argument. I decided to cancel the wash and asked for my keys back. Out of respect, I still tipped the worker who had started cleaning the car and waited while he wiped off some product from the seats. Then, shockingly, the manager shouted, "No, no! Don't dry anything! Let him just have it like that!" Unbelievable. He also refused to give me his name. Needless to say, I won't be coming back--and I can't, in good conscience, recommend this place to anyone. read more

Absolutely terrible experience two times in a row. I brought my car here on January 23rd for a wash, wax, and headlight restoration. When I got my car back, my headlights were heavily scratched up and damaged from their sanding. This was not minor and the damages are extremely visible. I should've never gone back to this terrible car wash after this, but I decided to give them a second chance to see if they could at least do a basic wash properly. Huge mistake which I really regret. I came back a few hours later after they finished washing the car, and when I picked it up, there were all these white scratches and micro-scratches on the paint that were absolutely not there before. I just bought this car at the dealer a month ago and it had a completely brand new paint job and have been babying the car since I got it. I would've 100% noticed these scratches beforehand. When I talk to the owner Braselio about it, he immediately denied responsibility and claimed the scratches were already there. No real inspection, no accountability, just completely avoided responsibility. I was also told they were "too busy" to deal with the scratches even though this happened during my visit. Terrible customer service. If they damage your car, they will not take responsibility. I tried to calmly ask the owner if they could fix the scratches they caused, and the Braselio just walked off, said this conversation is over and started talking to another customer. Extremely rude and unprofessional person. He also claimed they've "never damaged a car in 20 years," which is hard to believe when my car was damaged both times I took it here. If you care about your car at all and keeping it looking nice, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This place takes zero responsibility when they mess up. I've never been so dissatisfied with any service in my life. I was really deceived by the good reviews they had. I thought maybe the first time was just a fluke since they had good reviews. But TWICE in a row they damaged my car, which is really sad because I've been trying to take really good care of it since I bought it. And when I try to calmly bring up the damages they caused, I'm met with super rude and unprofessional behavior. Don't come here. They don't deserve to be in business with the terrible service they offer. Braselio is also super rude and unprofessional and has zero ability to own up to mistakes they make. read more

Derby car wash is located in gulf stream not far from the furniture stores in that area. So you can drop your car and do some shopping if need be! Great job cleaning my car! I have a higher end vehicle and am always concerned about scratches or car washes that use dirty rags. This is not the case here- my car was treated very well & they cleaned both the inside & the outside. Rate was $50 for the cleaning, which is super reasonable. They are located inside the mall parking garage - it took me a minute to find them at first. I will come her again for sure. This was recommended by a friend that I trust. I can't say enough about this place. The team is friendly, efficient and pays great attention to detail. People may think it's a little pricy compared to other locals spot but honestly, the best bang for your buck in the area. I won't go anywhere else to get my car washed or detailed. I've been going to this place weekly to get a "Wet Wax" for my car, They do a really good Tag-Team (two people) wash. I like how organized the area is, they pay attention to the car and TAKE THEIR TIME. No real rush here unless theres maybe a full house... but that's when my manager does a spot check on every car before giving it back to the owner to see if its ready. They completely damaged my brand new car and completely denied doing so. They immediately denied causing damage; didn't speak to any of their guys who wash the cars or anything. Refused to provide their insurance information. Don't walk but run the other way. None of their employees speak English and I wouldn't be surprised if ICE pays them a visit in the future...... The owner (Brasilio Carvalho) told me that I must have done it myself and not noticed. Extremely insulting seeing as I know my own car and take very good care of it, AND the bumper sticks out much farther then where the dent is located and I have upgraded cameras and break sensors that would never allow me to "hit" anything. I paid for a wax service and you can clearly see whoever applied the wax hit this area. It's that simple. I now have to go through the trouble of having an attorney in our office draft documents to sue them. I waited more than 2 hours, when I went to see if they are ready, there was one guy working on it, while 4 people were sitting and on their phones. I came in with my car after not receiving a car wash well over six months. My mats were stained my center console gross and full of crumbs and lint my radio full of dust and sticky residue. These guys made my car look like it literally came off the show floor.
