According to him two young black teenagers (17&18) are "typically the type to commit fraud" (words out of his own mouth). He locked my car up even though they try paying NUMEROUS WAYS and left them stranded on the side of the street. I have called the cops. Even in front of the officers he tried refusing to take card payment when it clearly states he does at the paying window. He wanted to be an asshole. Mind you the card is in my name and I have my ID. Known about this place for years after my mom and her ex used to come here every time they needed an oil change. I used to always do my own oil changes, but whenever I got especially busy and/or lazy and didn't feel like doing my own I'd come here. Very happy with the service here, everyone is friendly, and they really go above and beyond a basic oil change by filling your tires, topping off other fluids and doing a basic inspection all free of charge with the cost of an oil change--which is only a little over 40 bucks for basic conventional oil. Highway robbery and poor customer service. They charged me $109 for ian oil change that the dealership would've charge $75. After they told me how much it would be I asked them to return my vehicle, and that I no longer wanted the service. I was told that they have started already and drained my vehicle of oil. By this time they did take my card to the back however, it was not in the process of getting an oil change. I asked to speak with the manager he told me the manager would not return until next week. Was great until you have an issue. Now I'm a firm believer these days that the customer isn't always right since people are trying to get more for less for trying to cheat companies. I use to be a regular until today. I thought I had an oil change completed 2 weeks ago on my vehicle until the check oil light came on. I asked to have it redone for my peace of mind and he wanted to charge me. He stated that I have the sticker. I asked him if he can physically prove that the oil change was completed. He then wanted to blame my car which was inspected by him as well. He stated that he's been around for 22 years but that doesn't mean you've done everything right in those 22yrs. While I was discussing my lack of service and then poor customer service another customer was having issues that she needed rectified before departing. Double and even triple check the work being done on your vehicle because God forbid you have an issue with their service.... their reply will be i already have your signature. I'm glad all it took was an oil change incident to let me know to take my business elsewhere. Since I've been coming there for years multiple times a year... I would have spent more money with them. I wish I could rate this negative stars. This experience was horrible. The manager/staff is extremely unprofessional and aggressive. My husband went for an oil change. He noticed a ding on his car upon return and asked to review the camera to make sure it didn't happen there and move on. The manager started a screaming match with him and made him call the police. The police came and the videos don't show the damage being caused there. Great, mystery solved but why insult your customer when they have a concern? They then proceeded to give my husband a hard time with his signature on the credit card receipt. To add insult to injury, the following day we left to Orlando and had to stop at a mechanic because some lights came on. They did not replace the oil in our car. Usually I stand up front to see that they replace the oil filter, I stood there Waiting for them to change it and they never did it. Terrible experience. Owner of the shop lied to my face about prices. I started off by calling asking how much an oil change would be for my 2017 accord and they said $39.99. Then I arrive and they tell me my car needs synthetic oil which I know and understand it might be more expensive. I look on Board with prices it shows $67.99 for the synthetic oil (Mobil 1). The guy told me it will be $74 and some change with tax which made sense to me. I could've gone to the dealership and got an oil change for around $68 so I was already paying a bit extra but I said why not let me try this place out. The owner seemed honest and easy going at first then when it came time to pay he charged me $79.18. I asked him how it could be that price if he told me previously that it's $74 with tax and how if I was getting charged tax it should be from the $67.99 as advertised on the board with prices. He became rude and began raising his voice as if he was trying to make a point. I should've just took the car to the Honda dealership. Would've got treated with more respect and would've got the job done with the oil change without messing around with the price. Lesson learned. First but last time coming to this place. I needed a oil change and checked yelp for help! I figured I'd give Rapid Oil a chance as I was not trying to wait 30 minutes either. I called them up and the mechanic or manager who answered was friendly and told me to come right in. When I arrive I'm told it will take 10 minutes until they could start and 15 minutes to change oil. All in all they were finished in under 15 minutes and the service was excellent and the employees fast and knowledgable. They also notified me to call the dealer about my suspension which was going bad as the car is under warranty. They did not try to push anything extra on me and even cleaned my windows and filled my car with washer fluid. I didn't ask for any of those services. Impressive! I highly recommend this mechanic shop and will be using them for all my non dealership needs. read more
