I went to Sparks Folsom PA location once about a year ago and this week a $44.52 charge from them showed up on my bank statement. They must be storing peoples credit/debit card numbers and then try to sneak in more charges at a later date. This is a scam and fraud. I tried reaching out to Spark on their web page and I am still waiting on a response as to why there's a $44.52 charge on my bank statement from your Folfom PA location. I usually go to Cobra Car wash on Baltimore Pike, but Spark just opened and is closer to my house so I figured I'd give it a shot. I've been a couple times now, after being talked into a membership during my first trip here. The price of the first month of a membership is the same as the cost of one carwash, and they say you can cancel anytime, so I figured "why not?". I liked that the carwash itself has huge windows, so you're not in a super-dark tunnel while going through. I did not like that there was no mirror installed on the building so you could see how well lined-up you were with the wheel grabber thing upon entry. I also hated that there's no "escape lane." Once you get in line, you're stuck there no matter how many cars in front of you are taking forever to go through. This wouldn't be a problem, except for the fact that the members lane was closed the last time I went, which meant I had to sit in line with everyone else paying at the machine, and despite how long it took them, I had no way of getting out. The first time I went through the car wash there were lots of water spots on the rear of my car. When I went through the second time, the water spots were almost everywhere - my windshield, especially. I never had water spots at Cobra, so I'm not sure what's up with Spark. But considering the convenient location, I'll probably keep going back, anyway. read more

Buy Beware - took advantage of 1/2 price promotion for a membership for three months and cancelled my membership soon after and I have been billed ever since. Bank as me to work with the merchant went to speak with the manager (useless) said no we have no record in our system (showed me a screen without any transaction) two days later I was charged again. Overall car wash was good...I actually liked it and thought it did a good job but I can't trust that I won't get billed for things I didn't pay for so if going use CASH or don't go! read more

I came for the first time, I've been using another car wash as a monthly member for 8 years. I pulled up to the line and the guys asked me if they can give my dogs a treat, that shocked me... Then I saw you accept Apple Pay... The guy was telling me about the membership prices and everything that was included..., once I got through the car wash, I noticed it had air blowers, microfiber towels, windex, etc and free air fresheners..... what??????????? 50% off the first month.... I left out of there with WOW mindset. They had everything from carpet cleaners, to a mini blower two different size nozzles to the vacuum out your vehicle. This place had complementary glass cleaners, and towels for your car. This takes car wash level to a whole new perspective. First of all they took money out of my account without my authorization claiming I had agreed to some kind of membership, which I had not. Second they double charged me for the so called membership they claimed I agreed to. Not bad, not great, about your average automatic car wash. Will your car be cleaner? yes, 95% cleaner. Will your car be dry? well 90% drier, it is about par with all the others, make sure you bring a towel to dry your vehicle and get the front and back areas it totally misses. Took my wife's Grand Cherokee this morning, came out about 90-95% clean, needed to touch it up after, at home. Love the vacuum area, complimentary window cleaner is a nice touch, didn't have any fresh towels, but they just opened about an hour ago and it is below freezing out, so I totally understand. Staff were friendly and helpful. In summary, not bad, not great, average to above average for an automatic car wash. If you want perfection, hand wash it yourself is the only way, but when it's cold, this worked in a pinch. read more

Then comes this charge for $44 on my account a month later. I called the number on Google to get a refund.
