I had been to AM for cocktails at the bar before, but never done the whole dining experience until…read moreour anniversary dinner. We sat in the bar area and the ambiance was just right. Moody lighting, low rumble of noise and music you enjoy but don't notice. My kinda place. Rye was our server and she was excellent. Not only top-notch recommendations but also let us know about the tasting menu- I can't wait to come back to try the off-menu one they do the last Wednesday of every month. We got raw oysters to start and chose the seasonal preparation. It was almost like frozen lemonade crème fresh, but with the brine of the oysters it just worked. Would def order again! We started with a whiskey sour and AM old fashioned. Both great but mine was so good my husband ordered another round of them for us before we got a bottle of red. I don't recall what bottle it was but it worked perfectly as it wasn't too heavy and swung easily from apps/pasta/entrees. Then we opted into the blind tasting menu. 5 courses, chosen from the menu that you don't know what you're getting until it touches the table. My husband and I are pretty adventurous as far as food goes so it was perfect for us. No shit- Everything was amazing. I loved the tasting menu as it was not any dishes we were considering and I am so glad we got to try things we wouldn't have otherwise. For example, the little asparagus appetizer was the best thing we ate, on God. Like, what in the actual F ! The kind of magic they created with those little green veggies was out of this world --I didn't even want to swallow it was that delicious. There was some kind of fish crudo with beet and kumquat relish. Weird and so good! We also had some pasta with a lemon-y butter sauce and spinach and then a chicken entree. I was getting so full by the time entrees came I ate less than half of it but the skin was crispy, chicken was cooked to perfection and husband finished them both. Now yall, the dessert was a heavenly little pot of rich chocolate with a caramel base and crunchy honeycomb crisp on top. I was so full I couldn't finish it but my husband finished his and then mine. We also ordered a little affogato and it was perfect to finish the meal. I will absolutely be back and look forward to trying their other restaurants in the near future!!!

Overall there are 5 courses and took about 2 hours. Overall the food was very good except the entree. The spinach was extremely salty and unfortunately every time i or my group took a bite of spinach it was off putting. I was able to eat the portions not touch by the spinach but it was so salty spinach was inedible. The best thing of the night was this spinach pasta dish with pumpkin. I would just go back for that. Again, overall it was a fun experience but unfortunately would not do it again. I would probably go back just for their pasta.

Portions were excellent for the price. My biggest issue with this place was the club-like atmosphere at 8pm on a Thursday night. It's a small space. The lights were dimmed so low. The DJ was playing music loud enough for a 5,000 sqft space. This place is not the vibe for a meal if you want to talk to your friends, but definitely the place for good food at a great price.

Seemed to be more to-go orders than anything. We came and were seated. The server told us it was her first day so she didn't have answers to any of the questions that were asked. I ordered the blackened catfish pasta and my friend ordered the blackened catfish meal. After waiting for quite some time, the server comes over and tells us that it takes about 45 minute to cook our food since everything is made to order. So if we were on lunch break, it would be better to call in the order. 1- it doesn't take 45 mins to scoop pre-made pasta or grill catfish. 2- You probably should have told us that information when we arrived, not an hour after we been sitting. Yes it took a full hour to get our food. With no one else in the restaurant. Should have been a clue. My food wasn't even piping hot when we got it. It was lukewarm as best. So the taste was just ok. Fish very salty. Pasta flavor was ok. My friend enjoyed her meal but was also disappointed in the wait and the warmness of the food. Presentation was good however. I asked for a to-go container and the check. The server said ok and then went to talk to another employee for an additional 20 min as we were waiting to finish up and leave. I had to go ask her again. And she said it's on the way. So in all, we spent about an hour and 40 minutes in this establishment during our lunch time. Not sure I have any interest to return.

I had a side house salad with a Balsamic vinaigrette and shrimp tacos. The tacos were good but had a lot of sauce on it which kind of covered up the taste of the shrimp. We were excited to try this place out, but the food didn't quite meet our expectations, especially for the price. I got the bacon mac and cheese pie, it sounded nice til it got served to me in the same skillet they cooked it in. Not sure, if we should've asked for the plate, separately. My bacon was uncooked and there was so much grease in the bottom of the skillet. My husband had the chicken Alfredo and I tried a bite because he said it didn't taste right and it tasted like their Alfredo sauce might've been out of date or something, didn't taste like Alfredo at all. Tasted like we will have food poison, in a day or so Very let down and won't be back!

THE FOOD & WINE At $65 for a 5-course Chef's Tasting Menu and $35 for the wine pairing, it is a good value. We started with a tasty carrot coriander amuse-bouche from Chef Nate, followed by: * Georges Banks Scallops: Served with tomato gelatin, cured kiwi, and crema. Paired well with a crisp New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. * Sweet Potato Tamale: Topped with spiced mayo, avocado crema, and charred cabbage. The spicy jalapeños and radishes added a bright kick that paired nicely with a blush-colored, floral Pinot Grigio. * Elysian Fields Lamb Cubano: A rich, complex dish featuring lamb shoulder and a fantastic touch of lamb heart (marinated for a week in adobo). Fresh arugula and pickles offset the richness, and the toasted focaccia was an amazing match. Paired with a medium-bodied Grenache that cut through the rich flavors. * Acadian Redfish: Charcoal-grilled with a creamy crawfish hollandaise and light-bodied potato crisps. This is the chef's elevated take on his mother's fish and chips, and it had a nice balance of oil and salt. * Dessert: Finished with a strawberry ice cream terrine and a decadent six-layer carrot cake that was moist, intense, and packed with pistachio crème. * We had a robust 2015 St. Emilion with a medium/heavy body, nice tannins, and age! THE SERVICE * The service was highly attentive, friendly, and earns a solid 4 stars. Sam, the sommelier, was knowledgeable and shared his insights on the pairings (he noted the 3rd and 4th courses were his personal favorites). Special thanks to Daisy for helping us with our first visit, walking us through the tasting courses, and recommending local places. * Because the restaurant ambitiously rotates its tasting menu every 2-3 weeks, it is harder for the staff to keep on top of the tasting menu details (compared to their regular menu items). OVERALL Overall, a fantastic 4-star experience. The culinary creativity and the beautiful dining room make it highly recommended!

They absolutely love shopping at Farmer's Market because we can find everything we need for both Japanese recreations from the grandson who lived there 10+ years and Mexican dishes we all love in one trip. I personally don't eat meat, but the selection here is excellent for the rest of the family--fresh cuts, unique ingredients, and lots of options for home-cooked specialties. The produce section is full of fresh vegetables, herbs, and fruits you just don't see in a standard grocery store, and the variety inspires us to try new recipes. For us, this market isn't just about convenience--it's about creativity. Walking the aisles sparks ideas for dishes we'd never think to make otherwise, and that makes our family meals even more special. If you enjoy cooking, especially with international flavors, this is a place you'll want to explore. Whether you're stocking up for the holidays or just making dinner on a Tuesday, Farmer's Market is a treasure trove.
