The tacos lack flavor overall. The salsas come in a plastic bag. The service is terrible, and the ambiance is just as bad--if you want to eat next to a trash can, go for it!

Beef taco. So delicious. Everything seasoned and made fresh. This is why every trip through memphis This place is absolutely must.

I had stopped by the summer location to order but when I saw their new prices I was shocked. $17 dollars for a burrito? $4.99 for just one of those little tacos?? $21 dollars for other items on the menu. Nope . I refuse to pay that much. The food is good. But they've lost a customer because of the extreme price increases.

Drove into town to visit my family for Christmas and was welcomed with Winter Storm Elliot. We were unable to do much with the weather conditions and was introduced to this place. Well, this may have been the best way to be introduced to Memphis. Lunch!!! These tacos and burritos were well worth the wait. They were fresh. Packed with flavor and a great addition to our snowed in day. The menu was simple. Easy to understand. It's better to order prior to arrival. And ordering is available online and by phone. I highly recommend this place.

These are some of the best tacos in Shelby County. Place is essentially a food truck under a huge awning... but the set up is nice, comfortable , professional with nice tables. People were friendly, prices were reasonable. I lived in Mexico for 2 years... the barbacoa tacos were legit! Gotta try this place if you're near by on Summer Ave

Fast service and it was a PERFECT day to enjoy on site or take away. There is a patio seating area in the parking lot. I'll definitely be back. So I had the vegetarian Nganas, shrimp Nganas, and a regular shrimp taco. Probably some of the best tacos I've ever had. Seasoned with perfection, flavorful, and just delicious in your mouth. I found my new taco spot. All that's needed is a good strong margarita. Definitely coming back.

The food here was super tasty! There had been a lot of talk around town and I definitely couldn't wait to give it a try . The way things are set up is pretty unique. They are a food truck, but they have a parking lot space set up with table and chairs available for seating (which is cool for a day that they weather is good). When you walk up, there is one line to order then, you get a ticket and pick up in another line. That made the transaction smooth. Plus they have menus available for you to look over while in line. Now, on to the food. I had 3 tacos. The Camarones (shrimp), Pollo (chicken), and Al Pastor (pork) tacos were all amazing and flavorful. I had them with the Consommé (which is a beef broth) and it was delicious! If you are in the area I would definitely recommend giving it a try. You won't regret it. Cool atmosphere, authentic Mexican food, and just an all around great vibe!

I ordered my food told the lady I wanted "2 soft shell tacos with ground beef, cheese, and sour cream." In the middle of me ordering she stopped to talk to her coworker. After standing there for about a minute waiting she asked me, if what "I wanted was 2 soft shell tacos with sour cream." I said, "2 soft shell tacos with ground beef, cheese, and sour cream." They gave me 2 soft shell tacos with beef onions and some green stuff... basically the only thing they got right was the beef and soft shell taco. I walked back up there to tell her that it's not right. She said it was my fault. I couldn't get a refund the only thing she could do was put cheese on it. I said well can I get my money back because it's not right that's not what I ordered she then said it wasn't their fault. The thing is I don't even do this type of stuff and probally wouldn't have if they would have just remade the food I didn't want my money back for it just wanted it made right from the jump. They messed it up took no accountability and blamed it on me. I didn't eat the food I didn't touch it so I don't see how I couldn't even get a refund. I never left a review before but after this terrible experience I had to. Make sure if you order triple check what they write because nothing about the taco was right beside it being a soft shell tacos. If I could leave NO stars I would. Horrible service.

This was my second time eating here. OMG y'all, it's so good! First time, I had a chicken burrito. It was as big as my face, and insanely delicious. Today, I'm having chicken tacos, and they are honestly the best I have ever had. They even left the cilantro off for me!! If you are ever in Memphis, and get tired of BBQ (ha ha ha), you won't regret having Taco Nganas. Totally worth sitting outside in Memphis heat to eat, and that's saying a lot for this Mountain Girl.

Wow. These have to be one of the best tacos I've ever had, and trust me, this was not my first rodeo. I've gone far and wide from east to west and south, and their tacos are lit!!! The tortillas are fresh, and the chicken was so flavorful and tender, you can taste the love in it. Shrimp was also good. Definitely pass on the asada, it ended up being basically broken down hamburger patty with so-so seasoning. Service is friendly, long line but it moved super fast. Even on a hot august day, eating there was manageable with the big cooling fans.

Shrimp , al pastor, carnitas, asada all regular style

The food was excellent and we had a great server (Maggie) who helped us navigate the menu and the array of complimentary sauces. We ordered chips and dip (homemade) and this is not the standard bagged chips with salsa bottle. Crisp and substantial chips with fresh, flavorful, slightly spicy salsa. Really good! Maggie recommended the Birria Burrito with consume for my husband. Wow!!! Loaded with tender and flavorful shredded beef, whole beans, rice, and cheese in a grilled tortillia wrapper with a rich and hearty consume. He has a healthy appetite and still took some home. I got 2 alpastor tacos, which were excellent. Tender and flavorful pork with just enough pineapple. I alsi had a grilled chicken taco that was good, but not as luscious as the pastor. We LOVED the sauces. Yes, you got some mighty heat with a few of these, but they never sacrificed flavor for the sake of heat. Great pickled onion and habenaros, fresh crisp radish and cucumber, smokey, spicy dips. What is not to love!! Churos for desert, sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. Clean, well lit reasurant. Casual. Friendly service, great parking!! We will be back (and bring friends!)

Seems there's some weird disconnect going on I wasn't aware of... This location is now going by Las Mexicanos instead of Los Comales. Looks like almost all new staff too, that could definitely use some Customer Service training. The menu has a 3rd name on it that seemed off as well. I was not told to come to the hostess stand to be seated, no friendly greeting when I did approach the stand. Once seated, the chip & salsa dude was quick enough in dripping them off w/out so much as a greeting. Maybe he's the silent type? Who knows? 2 Now the real wait begins.... Nothing to drink nor any sign of anyone even slowing down @ my table to take a drink order. Maybe they were fighting to see who would take my order? ‍ I was almost finished w/the basket of chips, decided what I wanted and LAID THE CLOSED MENU on the other side of the table close to the edge, hoping someone would notice. I had decided if they couldn't be bothered to come by the time I finished the chips I was leaving. Magically a waitress finally shows up w/3 chips to spare. Placed the order for water and dinner at the same time. Dinner came out quickly but looking pitiful w/barely a full tablespoon of guac, tomatoes or sour cream. Cheap bastards! The flour part of the chimichanga was NOT CRISP, & I was given plastic utensils to maneuver this sad plate. I have eaten here MANY times as I live in the area so I am more than disappointed w/this experience. Not a single customer sitting in the middle @ the 4-tops & @ least 7 booths empty; on a Saturday night @ 8:00 pm. Sad that they have lost so much business, I'll think twice before considering spending my money here again.
