I agree with Barry. The woman running the place has no PR skills. Very gruff. Is rarely in the office and yes if she is in her residence above the office she may eventually show up. Stopped by on a Thursday a.m. and note on door said "gone, have a good weekend". There is no email address and rarely anyone answers the phone. The voice mail msg does not indicate if a message can be left (weird). Supposed video camera monitoring but I highly doubt it. There sure weren't any cameras anywhere near my storage location. Rates were jacked up 50% in April, just a few months after having moved my stuff. I outta there! read more

The lady who runs this place is horrible, has no people skills, 90% of the time you cannot contact her phone is busy, does not return phone calls when she does she is hateful. The place is falling apart and there are more vacant spots than filled hard to believe when there are Storage opening on every corner that have waiting list. I am not sure who owns the place but someone needs to find a new Manager or they will be out of business. read more

Happy for many years (13 years) with this place. Have changed rental space on an as-needed basis several times. Staff always professional, including being helpful with making those changes. Love the 24-hour access! read more

TERRIBLE customer service and a run down place in general. The lady managing the place doesn't like to be called in the early morning and likes to lecture customers on how to manage their own personal finances. Would not recommend this place to anyone! read more

HORRIBLE!! The lady lives above the office at the location. Today I was looking for a place to park my 7 x 16 Cargo trailer that holds my camping and kayaking gear. Their website says the office opens at 10am. I was in the parking lot of the business (shared) with my trailer at approximately 11am. No one was there. I waited for a little while and called twice. On the second call, a woman answered the phone. I asked the woman "Is your office open today?" The woman sarcastically laughs and says "What can I help you with." The reason I asked if she was open, regardless of the answered phone call, was because the office was locked and no one there! I told the lady I needed to store/park my 7 x 16 trailer. She replies "Do you really need to do that today?" in a condescending tone. I'm not one to expect an ass kissing when I go to a business, but I was NOT HAPPY! Really? I'm calling you NOW, and I just told you I was in your parking lot of your business with my trailer and you ask me that? She sounded LAZY and could care less for business. I would much rather pay a higher price to a professional and friendly business that was kind and helpful to customers than to EVER go to this location for ANY business what so ever! Avoid this place and go to the next. Secondly, if you perform an open records request with the Denton Police Department, you'll find reports with NUMEROUS burglaries at this location. What does that mean? That means this location is NOT safe to store your property and not secure at all. RUN! Avoid this place! read more

Take your things and run! Verna, who runs this place, is flat out rude and a total train wreck at running a business. It takes us 10-15 phone calls over a week to get in touch with her and she does not return calls. Ever! She is never in the office, so you're wasting your time to try to catch her. We've been charged late fees when we dropped our payments off in plenty of time - but I suspect she just never came to the office to get it. If you question her on anything, she gets defensive and insulting - even called us liars and said some things I'll not repeat here to my husband. She is not a balanced woman and I suspect she's in an altered state most of the time because she makes no sense. We've been patient and tried to be kind, but we are done!! Moving out - and if you're smart, you will never move in. Worst service ever. Whoever owns this joint needs to hire a new person or just consider the place a loss because Verna is running everyone off. read more

Have a medium unit here. Older facility with bumpy lot but it works. Have not had any problems and the unit prices are much lower than any nearby competitors if you compare same size units. read more

I saw the one bad review on this business and it is very unfair. The manager does live on the premises but she is not open on Sunday's. She's always been extremely helpful to us and our church uses the business for our yearly garage sale. I've never seen anything but friendly and courteous behavior. Some people are not very nice and hard to please. read more

I have used Space Plus on many different occasions. I have a RV parked there now. It is very easy to get in and out and the Mgr. Is very helpful. I have recommended this to others that have also had great experiences! read more
