Manny, is awesome with his consultation based on my needs. Not only he listen, he also tells me his opinion based on the consultation weather the color,hair cut and style will look good on me based on my profile. Manny, Also ask me in terms of my home care professional products. I like that. He make sure, that i'm using the right professional products based on my hair care needs. And I know he's not, just trying to sell me some products. Because when i told him, what i have i have at home. He told me, what i need to get. And, I can tell when someone is just trying to sell me a products they get khaki. Having a dark long hair. I like to get high lights from time to time. And I'm very.... picky when it comes to color or highlights. My hair tend to get brassy because I'm always outside and have very active lifestyle, and with my red undertones as well that didn't help. But based on his honest opinion, he told me, that brassy will not go away, since i have very dark hair. It can be control and tone by using the right shampoo with deposits action, will help the highlights and my natural color from getting brassy. My highlights come out really.... nice and it was the right highlights for my dark hair. And my awesome layered haircut. I told him before, he cut my hair to keep it long with layered. Its so... fab! I like the way he shape and texture my hair. After he blow dry and style my hair it looks very finish. He's price are so very..... reasonable. Actually I was really stunt with his price, I normally pay a lot with my own hair stylist who happen to be from san francisco. He also good and worth for the money. He not only save me some money, he also gave me a good quality highlights,cuts and styling. He really spend a good amount of time with me and I'm very thankful for that. The salon are small,cute,clean and staff are very friendly. Street parking but since, my appointment was late in the morning during the week. It was easy for me to find a parking I had eye brow wax with SIDNEY and he's really.... good for what he do. I normally just maintain my eye brow myself. From time to time i get it done. I had bad experience before, so I don't get done very often. Sidney shape my eye brow on the right direction. I love it !!! I'm so glad that i found this salon. To bad I'm not from long beach. But I had such a great service from Manny and Sidney. I love Manny and Sidney's professionalism, and his skin expert advice. Manny, you rock ??? my man. Every time i get a hair cut from Manny, I always bring a picture from a magazine. I'm a very.... picky when it come's to my hair cut. But Manny is so.. patient,honest and up front with me weather the hair cut from a magazine would look good on me or not. He not only take his time and pay close attention to detail, he also educate me in terms of what products i should use on my hair. I love the fact that he's honest with his client. Manny does my high lights from time to time. I'm naturally dark hair and he takes his time to consult and talk about the color and the out come and expectations on how the color and hair with react. I'm very please all the time with the outcome. And one thing that really impress me about Manny he make's me really comfortable talking about what my grooming needs. I've known Robert Orgill, a stylist at Spa Sidney, for some time and he is one of those "finds" that you thank your lucky stars you found. Robert is a happy stylist...always with a smile and a laugh...but he is all business when it comes to your hair. You can tell him what you want and that is what you'll get (with suggestions), but Robert is one of those rare stylists that you can give free reign to and be thrilled with the results. If you get there early, you end up marveling at his trans-formative powers turning plain (not ugly) ducklings into striking swans. Robert is a color genius! I love this cute and trendy beauty lounge! I went in and was a bit apprehensive about getting my hair colored since I'm African American and not everyone knows how to deal with my natural hair. I went to Robert who did a fantastic job! We did a consultation before he even touched my hair and asked me some questions about what I wanted and showed me some swatches. Robert gave me the exact look that I wanted, I had virgin hair and wanted something subtle that you couldn't see inside but added a little tint in the sun. It looks great he even took me outside and made sure I was happy. I definitely recommend requesting Robert for any color services that you need! I recently discovered Spa Sydney and what a treat is has been! My initial visit was a facial by Sydney. Invigorating, cleansing & refreshing. Sydney went into detail about skin care and suggested a few products that I am now using daily!! My second & third visits were with Jeanette. Fabulous massage!!! I had been suffering from a pinched nerve and by the second week... it was completely gone! No more Aleve! On the third visit and again yesterday I received a haircut from Joseph. I've received many great compliments; some stating that between the face products and the haircut I look much younger. (A little color didn't hurt either!) Joseph does a fantastic job! I have been going to Joseph now to have my hair cut and colored for many years. I followed him from Los Angeles to Palm Springs, and now to Long Beach. He has a great personality, and makes the time spent with him enjoyable. He uses a color product called Schwarzkopf which is wonderful. I'm sure I'm quite gray but no one could tell the color is so good. It also lasts! SO MAKE THE CHANGE AND GO TO JOSEPH. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED! Also.. Spa Sidney is a very very nice place. Robert Orgill is the most talented hair stylist I have ever come across. When you find someone who is great, it's such a relief. Sometimes stylists just don't "get," the general picture of what you want, Robert gets it and then some. He has the kind of talent that breathes new life into your hair, and makes you look fantastic!
