I received a gift certificate and on the gift certificate it said it was for a one hour Swedish massage. I made the appointment and came in and after the massage I was told that there had a price increase and I was charged $50. They said that they just hand out a blank gift card, and the person who buys it are the ones that fill it in. But I know the handwriting on the gift certificate was not my friend's handwriting. They were completely dismissive Beyond that, the bathroom looks and feels like a mall or airport bathroom. I could hear a phone ringing in my treatment room. Lola was nice and her massage was better than average. I guess she wasn't watching the clock, because she ran out of time and stopped abruptly before working both sides of my body evenly. She told me I should book a 90 minute massage next time. I won't be back though. read more

Every time I come here for couple's spa day, it always feels so luxurious and relaxing. The building looks very high-end inside, after you check in you are taken to a tranquil lounge to chill in, in the locker rooms they have a steam room and also sandals and comfy robes are provided. The service is great-- Woodhouse and Massage Envy can't compare. Today I did Couple's Massage, mani pedi, and dermaplaning with mini facial and at the start of every service the tech would greet me with a glass of water, which I thought was thoughtful that they want me to stay hydrated. And the location is excellent, lots of restaurants to go to afterwards. read more

Extremely Disappointed - Will Not Return I came to this spa as part of a surprise birthday outing with a group of five friends. What should have been a relaxing and special experience turned out to be incredibly disappointing. I had a 30-minute massage, and instead of making the most of the time, the masseuse kept making passive comments like, "Oh, it's only 30 minutes," as if that justified not addressing any of the areas I specifically asked to focus on. She rushed through the session, ignored my concerns, and the experience felt impersonal and careless. Worse still, I left with more tension than I came in with--and ended up with a neck cramp that lasted for days. I was in pain, not relief, after this so-called massage. The pedicure was by a different person and it was fine. When I voiced my concerns, the manager spoke with the owner and offered 50% off my next service. But honestly, why would I return to a place that clearly doesn't prioritize guest care or stand behind the quality of their service? This was supposed to be a thoughtful birthday surprise, and it left me feeling stressed, hurt, and disappointed. I will not be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

Treated myself mid week to a much needed massage! It was a little hard to find them to be honest within the Domain, they're tucked away in a little corner with not the best signage. But don't let the small office vibe once you enter deter you. Once inside they have a locker room area for you to change and store your stuff. They also provide a nice lounge area for you to relax before and after your massage. Upon walking in, my masseuse was Abby, and she was great. She was sweet and asked me about focus areas and honestly even though I had a Swedish massage she used a good amount of pressure really working on my problem areas. I left feeling extremely relaxed and less tense. After the massage I went to the hammam for a bit which was recommended to soothe the muscles and let the oils set in. It's essentially like a higher steamed version of a sauna. It was great and I was able to relax and take it all in, only thing is you get really humid and hot in there so if you don't want your hair to get soaking wet or you have a hard time breathing it may not be for you. I'd definitely recommend this for a special occasion or a gift to someone. The prices are pretty high, so don't think it'd be my go to frequent massage place, but definitely one when you want to treat yourself a little extra. read more

Had a nice day at the spa, everything went well enough. The space is clean, relaxing, with thoughtful details for comfort. Some procedures made a very good impression - especially liked the water elements and recreation area. The staff was polite and professional. However, not everything was perfect: in a few moments I wanted a little more attention to the little things that matter in such places. For example, there was a lack of clear coordination between procedures, and not all services were of equal quality. In general, the experience is positive - I managed to relax, and maybe I will return again. But there is room for improvement so that the impressions are even more harmonious. read more

Avoid this place! I've been a customer here for years. I called to schedule a Swedish massage back in Dec. I'm stating that because I'm seeing that if you leave a bad review this place claims they have no record of you. My usual person wasn't available so the receptionist recommended someone else. I got there, changed into my robe, and waited in the waiting room. Usually, a masseuse is waiting for me right away. 15 minutes passed and no one came to get me. I went back to the receptionist and asked if my massage was still happening. She jumped up and ran to the back room, came back and said "I guess that masseuse isn't here today, but I'll find you someone else." I was confused as to how she could have scheduled me with someone who wasn't even there, but went back into the waiting room. Shortly after, another masseuse came and got me. I let her know that I preferred mild to medium pressure. She spent the first 10 minutes just running her hand up and down my back with no pressure and then she climbed on top of me, dug her knees into the back of my legs, and put all of her weight on my back. I immediately tensed up and could barely breathe. I told her it didn't feel good and she said "your muscles are really tight" and kept going. I was starting to get upset because I didn't sign up for this. I wanted a Swedish massage! I didn't know a masseuse was allowed to even climb on top of you like that. I told her again that she was hurting me, and she let up but didn't get off of me. Finally, I said it again and she got off. At that point I told her I had to go to the bathroom and left. During this short time her phone kept going off and buzzing. I've never experienced this with any of the other therapists. I told the receptionist at the front desk what happened. I've never left in the middle of a massage. I asked the receptionist to have a manager reach out. On my way home, the receptionist called and let me know she spoke with the owner and she was still going to charge me. I said absolutely not! Please do not charge me, I want to speak to a manager. Days went by and no one called me and then a charge of $250 appeared on my credit card. I tried calling the spa and asked to speak to a manager. The receptionist said the manager was out and would be back on Thursday and to call again. I waited until Thursday and the manager still wasn't there and they told me to call back again the following week. I received a survey feedback form and filled that out explaining what happened and also asked a manager to contact me. No one ever reached out. I called 4 times and kept getting the run around. I still cannot believe this is how a loyal customer of over 4 years gets treated. After weeks of dead ends and no return calls, I ended up disputing the charge with my credit card company. I have sent this place so much business. Never again! I've let my friends and family know to stay clear of this place. No one should climb on top of you without consulting with you first. I had just had a c-section months prior to this. My scar tissue hurt for weeks after this encounter. I had prenatal massages during my pregnancy here so it wasn't as though they were clueless about my condition. The lack of follow up and the way I was treated has been insulting. *Be warned this is a long one & I apologize in advance.* I would describe my recent deep tissue massage therapy experience at Spa Reveil on 05/28/2022 as "just okay" at best & honestly, that might even be a stretch. This was not expected at all because all of my previous massage experiences at Spa Reveil were all really awesome & worth every penny. I was definitely disappointed this time around because I had a gift certificate given to me that I was so excited to finally get to use & not only was I REALLY looking forward to some relaxing "me time", I was also in need of some relief of painful muscle tension that I had in my upper shoulders/back/neck area caused by exercise & just poor posture while working remotely on a laptop for long periods of time (insert frustrated sigh). Because of the pandemic, it had been a few yrs since my last massage so I was feeling a little bit unsure & anxious about the process (Am I supposed to be full nude or not?? What were those instructions again on how to program my security code for the locker?? Am I supposed to be wearing my mask while in here??) and having the massage therapist not introduce herself to me did nothing to help put me at ease or help w/ making me feel comfortable w/ her. So when she started to massage me while I was laying facedown on the massage table (she didn't ask me how the pressure was) I was initially hesitant to speak up to tell her that every time she pressed on my shoulders, it was causing my throat/windpipe to be pushed down into the edge of the massage table, making it hard to breathe & uncomfortable but once I told her, instead of her telling me what to do to remedy the issue, I had to suggest that me moving up on the table might fix it. This suggestion was me just guessing. My suggestion of moving up did help a little bit but not completely & at that point, she did suggest to raise my head position, which finally fixed the issue. I was also having a hard time fully relaxing because the majority of the time, the overhead lights in the room were kept on & not dimmed. They were only dimmed towards the end of my session when I turned on my back (not sure if this is usually how it is done or not). Another contributing factor in not being able to fully relax is that once she started to massage me, she didn't ask me if the pressure was good or not so she could then adjust the pressure, like all of the previous massage therapists have done. The pressure was way to light & not doing anything so after waiting a little bit to see if she was going to start giving more pressure (she didn't), I told her that the pressure was to light & asked if she could give more pressure..she replied "you sure?"..my response: yes Lastly, when the massage therapist sat & stood at my head to massage my neck & upper extremities, she had a very strong food smell coming from her mouth that I could smell through her mask & it was right in my face every time she took a breath. I don't know what it was but it was so strong that w/ me being someone who is very sensitive to overpowering scents & odors (so much so that they can cause headaches) I just tried my best to hold my breath & when that wasn't working, I did my best to regulate my breathing to be the same as hers. Thankfully, after a short time she moved along to massaging my legs. To sum it up, I was really wanting/needing a deep tissue massage to help give relief of the painful tension in my shoulder, neck, back area & I don't feel that I didn't received one because I didn't feel refreshed afterwards & my body still has so much tension in it. This is very frustrating because I'll most likely have to pay more money to go get another deep tissue massage elsewhere to finally get some relief. Please note that the purpose of this review is not to bash the massage therapist...I'm giving this feedback in hopes that these things can be improved for the next customer. The massage was decent but I don't think it's anything I will leave San Antonio to experience again. I think it is just something to say I tried. Unfortunately, I didn't receive any reminders or emails confirming the appointment. I called when we arrived into town on Saturday during business hours and no one answered. I wanted to confirm if we even had an appointment since they had my credit card on file. I had to wake up the day of the appointment on Sunday to call as soon as they opened to confirm we had an appointment. My massage therapist never asked me how the pressure was. It was very hard when I asked for mild- moderate pressure. I usually wear underwear during my massage but don't wear a bra. My therapist completely disregarded the boundary line of wearing underwear and pushed them over. A major portion of my massage was spent tending to my buttocks. This wasn't good or bad just never had an experience like this. I had to ask for the table warmers to be turned on but it didn't really do any good because the majority of the time I was exposed so she could massage my butt area. I'm use to when I get massages for them to reveal the area they are working on and keep the other areas covered. So it was hard to stay warm. Update to the owner's response 5/26: if you look at the text message I received there is no apt info. I even tried requesting info. Now this morning 5 days after the apt I get a message welcoming me to the online concierge. I should have read the reviews prior. While I understand the current state of the world, I'm leaving this review as a return customer. This round I'm rather disappointed in my experience. Spa Reveil has always been my go to spa in the Austin area. First I called three weeks ago to try and book a 90 minute couple massage, the first week they couldn't not find two therapists, the second week they called to confirm and I believed we were all set for Monday. I called the Saturday before to confirm and I was told our time slot had already been filled. This was frustrating as I had to work out childcare each time. Finally I was able to get booked for the third week. Also each time I called I informed them I had a gift card I would like to redeem. The first time I called they said they would have to check with a manager. The second time I called they approved the use of the gift card, looked up the number to attach to the notes on file. The third time I called I tried to verify the use of the gift card and was told they didn't know if they would honor it and had to look up the information again. Advising I would be told the day of if I could use the gift card or not. (The gift card was kind of the whole reason for returning) Also all three times I called to schedule and then when I finally booked I asked for a prenatal massage for myself and a Swedish for my husband. The day of my husband and I show up, fill out all paperwork and get changed. We were told we were required to wear our masks while in session but one of the therapists didn't wear one the entire time. Before we began treatment my husband again informed the therapists he would like a Swedish massage. After our massages we went to our perspective locker rooms. I went to shower, there was only one shower "in service" the second had a sign. As I started the shower I saw one of the shower heads was broken. I stood waiting for the water to warm up but after seven minutes the water was still cold therefore I forfeited the shower. I later talked to my husband and he expressed the showers in the mens room were similar and the water was lukewarm at best. At check out I went to pay, as the bill was read to me I was informed we were being charged for a deep tissue massage for my husband. I informed her he received a Swedish massage and that was what I had booked all three times I called. I was told she would verify with my husband and then I could pay. While waiting, I texted my husband and asked him for clarification, he said he did get a Swedish massage and had to tell his therapist twice. As I went to pay, the gift card was honored after all the back and forth from the beginning. As I said at the beginning this has been my go to spa for years but I was very disappointed this time. I will not be returning for the foreseeable future which is unfortunate as I'm looking to book something for my sisters bridal gift. read more

We came here for my wifes birthday and had an amazing time. The hospitality of the staff and the atmosphere was really nice. Me and my wife had such a romantic time together. Highly recommend if you do the couples massage to go ahead and do the retreat. From the romantic soak to the pedicure at the end was definitely worth it for me and my wife. Only thing I would change is it somebody uses cherry that the connection service in the building is pretty bad and they don't have free wifi to help with paying through cherry. read more

They have a lot of different massage and I tried hour for sports massage and hour deep tissue massage. I didn't know which one was popular massage at this place and I decided tried two different massage same day. It's possible there and you don't have to wait for another extra time. The staffs were very accommodating and welcome you. Very clean and modern interior and you can choice your favorite herbal flavor for oils. The sports massage was great and she really good job with me. I felt really relieved and comfortable during the session. Also of course deep tissue massage was great for my muscle pain. She really focuses on where exactly I had pain for. When I done sports massage and had to go to relax area and 5mins waited there for deep tissue massage therapist came to me. My husband got me a spa package for Mother's Day here! The pedicure with Chris was both fun and informative! She taught me all about how to care for my feet and what traditional pedicures are lacking. Love it! I then had a vichy shower with brown sugar body scrub with a 20 min scalp massage with Lin. This left my body feeling like my baby's bottom and the scalp massage... I'll be coming back for another one of those. *Chefs kiss* Then i received a 60 min deep tissue massage. After being a parent for 2 months i didn't realize how tense i was. She left me feeling like a new person and relieved All the tension i had in my neck, shoulders and back! Lin was incredible !!! I will sing Spa Reveil's praises far and wide! My husband and I did a manicure (probably not the name on the menu) and the Couple's Tropical Escape. The manicure was so thorough and relaxing. I really wish that I had asked the specialist her name so that I could give a shout out. She was so sweet, super talented, and made me feel so relaxed. I seriously started dozing off, I was so relaxed. The Couple's Tropical Escape was also relaxing and far more than I expected. We sipped alcohol- free bubbly in a tub with jets. After a great soak we received a massage. My masseuse was extremely observant of my body, reminding me to clear my mind and relax, and pinpointing areas where I carried my stress. Bless you! I would definitely love to return to Spa Reveil. I may not spend as much $$ (this was a treat) but I've made a mental note to visit the manicurist again because she was amazing ! read more

I've also filled out the online appointment request form and left voicemails. I understand busy, but this is absurd. I got a deep tissue/detox massage and it was the best deep tissue massage I've ever had! It was so good I booked my boyfriend for one immediately. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I was booked for a facial and massage back to back, but there was a scheduling mix up. Mistakes happen, I get it, but the way it was handled was not the way it should have been handled. The aesthetician came to let me know the new girl up front made a mistake with the schedule, "but it's ok, I only have 10 minutes but I will give you 20 min." I was scheduled for a 30 min facial, which is $70. Both the aesthetician and front desk girl said it like it was no big deal. I'm sorry but that's $23 worth of facial haha... I don't want a super rushed service in an already quick facial. I offered to just come back next week and was embarrassed a bit to be asking for my whole 30 min. They finally decided that was the better option and I came back next week for a great 30 min facial. But, in my opinion, they should have offered to do the full hour or give me something for the inconvenience. Either way, I loved the services and I will be back. read more

This spa is gorgeous. Very clean and well run. I was worried with it being above a busy section of the domain that we would be able to hear traffic or people down below but it was super quiet and tranquil. During the month of February they offered a "plum passion therapy" package which consisted of a fizzy bath, a berry body wrap, scalp massage and Swedish massage. All in all I loved it except I got a rather rough massage therapist. The bath tub experience was nice but those jets feel like they could blow you right out of the tub through the ceiling, LOL. I don't think I'd do a body wrap again... it felt claustrophobic. But overall this experience was a great little "me time" escape. I think I will be back but will ask for a different therapist. read more

Another fantastic time at spa Reveil! My wife and I went for a couples message package called the Egyptian... it was fantastic! 2 hours of pampering that had us so relaxed we could barely walk out of the place! If you have not been here I strongly suggest you line something up! The place is awesome!! First we shared a couples milk bath for about 30 mins, then we moved to the tables where we were covered in a creamy lotion/butter and wrapped up in "silk". My skin is so soft today it feels like silk! While being wrapped they gave us scalp messages that were heavenly! Ohhh I could have floated away! Lastly we had Swedish messages for an hour! The therapists were fantastic! The venue is chic and ultra luxurious! I highly recommend unwinding at this spa and allowing them to carry you blissfully away for a time! The massage service was great but later we found out that we were given a different and more expensive service than we had booked. This was my first time at Spa Reveil and this was a birthday treat for my husband. He had talked about getting a pedicure so I figured I would do one better with a massage too. We arrived on time, told the front desk that we had arrived for the couples retreat and were asked to wait. We went into the room and had a wonderful hydro therapy bath and massage. Finished up and got dressed for our pedicure. We arrive at front to a different front desk person and we tell her that we are ready for our pedicures. The new receptionist informed us that we did not request the couples retreat but rather the Egyptian. This is more expensive and does not include the pedicures. OK. So how do I get pedicures. What do we do with this mistake? The answer is nothing. They act as if you made the mistake. We were told we received the treatment and we need to pay for the more expensive service that completely negates the whole reason I purchased the package... the pedicure. Just so you know. We received a scalp massage and a moisture wrap in place of the pedicures. We did not realize that was supposed to be an additional treatment. I figured that all of this is expensive so those did not seem that special. I attached a picture of my initial email. The text message does not state your treatment. I liked the service, but do not know how to rate it since it was the wrong service. My advice is to double verify your services or maybe pay before service so they don't bait and switch to a more expensive service. read more

I went to Spa Reveil for the first time yesterday. I made an appointment via phone for 2pm. Yesterday morning I got a text letting me know that my appointment was for 2:15pm. Okay, 15 minutes is no big deal. I arrived at 2:10 pm and checked in upstairs. When I was still waiting for the nail technician at 2:30 pm I asked the ladies at the front desk what was going on. They said the didn't know but they would check. If they checked, they didn't tell me. At 2:40 pm I was starting to get pretty annoyed. I went and asked again. They said the nail technician was still with the previous customer. Finally at 2:45 pm the nail technician came and got me. I asked her why she was so late and she said the previous customer had made her redo some things. Long story short, the nail technician, Kia, (spelled with a Q she said but I am writing it the way it is pronounced) was wonderful and did a great job. What I observed and inferred was that the customers at this particular spa are very high maintenance. And on top of that, she was the only nail technician scheduled to work on a Friday afternoon. I blame the management for these issues. While I was getting my manicure, the customer who was scheduled for 30 minutes later walked into the nail spa without checking in upstairs and said she wanted to go ahead and soak her feet early. So Kia had to get up, interrupt my manicure, to wait on her. After my manicure, I told the front desk ladies about the customer who barged in early. They gave me a very nice discount because they were sorry about the wait. I really appreciated that. I gave Kia a solid tip because she did a great job and I came to realize the delay wasn't her fault. I will go back and try this place one more time but if the same kind of thing happens again I won't be back. The only reason I give it 3 stars is because of the staff. Management needs to figure out how to staff properly and keep customers from running roughshod over employees. read more

It's hard for me to give a bad review when I know someone's job is at stake but.. a picture is worth a thousand words, so please see attached pictures of the manicure I received on 10/6/13, and decide for yourself. As for me, it's the worst manicure I've ever paid for. For added kicks... we paid extra money for gels, and these nails PEELED OFF less than 24 hours after applied. Like... not chipped off, or flaked. "Peeled" like when you got glue on your hands in kindergarten and you peeled it off after it had dried. The girl that did them kept forgetting to turn the UV light on, but I don't know how much that would effect the nails. read more

If there is only one treatment you can get here, or only one you can possibly get in your entire life, get the Vichy Shower. It's the most decadent and sensuous thing you can have done to you in a public place (that doesn't have zoning restrictions). First, you strip down....allll the way down and slip under a teeny tiny towel. You get a little chilled like that, anticipating and goosebumply. Then they turn the gentle warm shower on you, swinging it back and forth across your now very sense heightened body. Second, they scrub sections of your body, I mean like the top three layers of skin are removed and then they run the warm water over that. Finally, just when you think you can't take anymore bliss, they move you to another room and rub lotion into your skin, like a mini massage. Half the time during this treatment as my eyes were rolled back in bliss, I was wondering what did I ever do to deserve this?? I mean, I'd been stressed and working hard and I try to be a good person, but, I'm not sure Mother Theresa deserves this and I definitely ain't her. It's embarrassingly luxurious. Then, the last half of the massage I was fantasizing about owning my own vichy and having my own little business out of my home, with the side bonus of teaching hubby to do this to me at will. But, oh my god the water bills! Hubby immediately poo-pooed on that idea. However, he really enjoyed the "after effects" of my spa day. My skin was super smooth and tingly, and I was relaxed and, yes, ready for anything. So, win win for everyone and maybe now he'll get me gift certificates every month! read more

Update: They actually sent our credit card company a fake receipt when we opened a case. The receipt they told them they gave us was NOT the receipt we had. (We got a photocopy of what they sent them). Never heard back after notifying the credit company it was a fake and providing them the original receipt. Shady. I wish I could give zero stars. Worst business I have ever dealt with and I am about to report this to the BBB. Me and my boyfriend got the couples escapade for $350 which we where going to split for our anniversary. His was awesome and mine was AWFUL. HORRENDOUS. I had an allergic reaction to the body wrap so had to stop and go take a shower. I came back and we had the massage and it was the worst massage. Ever. The whole time I had to ask for more pressure and she did not listen. I got a glorified back rub. She never touched my arms, my neck, or anything. Just my back. I asked multiple times and directed her, but she kept ignoring me. I complained about this to the lady at the front and she called the manager who said to give us 50% off. But apparently she charged us all wrong. She charged us for 150 minute massage, when we only got the 110 minute massage. We got charged 100 dollars more! We should have been charged $350, not $450!!! So if we had been charged CORRECTLY, then the 50% discount would be as follow: Half of $350 is $175. We should have been charged $175 because my boyfriend was the only one who enjoyed the service. Well they split it up and said his service was $225 and mine was $112. So instead of taking half off of the advertised package, they separated the services and THEN took the 50% off. So I got charged $112 and my boyfriend was charged $225. Even if that's how they apply discounts. It is STILL wrong because we NEVER GOT THE $450 PACKAGE. WE WERE OVERCHARGED FOR SOMETHING WE NEVER GOT. Sneaky. Do not do business with this spa. I will make sure to spread my experience to every review site I can find because what they did to us was downright dirty. Everyone was super rude. They said that even though the massage was bad, I still got it, so I still was expected to pay even though the service was not good. Will not be back. THANK YOU FOR RUINING MY ANNIVERSARY NIGHT. I have been going to Spa Reveil over the past 4 years. I want to say that my message and facial and pedicures have ALWAYS been AMAZING! DO NOT BUY A GIFT CARD!!!! This is the 3rd time I have used a gift card and the manager has stated that the gift card was "used". I KNOW for a fact that all 3 times, they were not used and given to me for presents and used within a few weeks to several months from purchase. After waiting in line to checkout and having the manager do it to the woman in front of me, I called her out on it when she said my $150 gift certificate was used also. I flat out called her out on the 3rd time, SHE has personally done this to me. She apologized and then MAGICALLY my gift card worked. Just saying.... DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS for friends or family. Unfortunately, my massage experience here was one of my least favorite ever. I requested a head/neck/feet massage but the foot massage was almost nonexistent, I had really bad neck pain the next day, and overall was just not great. I also didn't feel the happy/positive vibes I usually get from staff at other spas. read more

I'm super on the fence about how many stars to leave. I want to leave less stars, so the business owners will know what areas to improve on, but I want to leave more stars because the customer service and care from the team was so great - and I don't want to punish them for the spas lack of amenities. My mother and I had services done last night. We were some of the last in the spa, which is always nice - you get to enjoy a calmer atmosphere. We arrived early to use the amenities - since they would obviously be closed upon our departure. I was super excited for the steam room. They call it a hammam, though I'm not entirely sure if it fits that term. Its a fairly small space, tucked in the back of the wash room (I would much prefer the steam room be separate from the toilets and showers and noise). It doesn't feel like a bath house, though the marble accents are pretty. It was extremely hot and steamy in there. One woman joined me and remarked that she comes here often, and it had never been this hot before. It was too much for my taste, but I was still able to sit for a good ten minutes. I prefer when the steam is mixed with a type of oil or whathaveyou, but it was fine. I ended up taking a peak in there at the end of the night, and sure enough once the steam dissipates there is a foul odor left behind and you can see areas where the room is in need of a good bleaching. Really the entire washroom was a little sad. Outdated tile, small quarters, and the only place to change privately is in with the toilet. The showers are fine, minus the outdated look and feel, and they come equipped with body wash and lotion. However, they don't provide you with disposable comes or razors - something I have gotten in spas in the past. The "relaxation area" was close to cute, but a few skimps on amenities got them several complaints from my mother. They should invest in black out curtains and something to cancel the noise out since its an exterior room and you could hear the traffic outside. I found the beds there comfortable, though my mother did not (I'm short but she is an average height and her feet were hanging off the beds). They did have water/tea/coffee but no nuts or fruits or juices which, again, I am accustomed to. These refreshments were also a little to the side of the room, and so were not easy to see and get yourself. I liked the little curtains but hated how much sunlight was coming into the room. It just didn't feel like a "world away" which it really should. We both enjoyed our services very much. I'm accustomed to getting sports/medical massages at a doctors office, so I was very into the little touches that set a spa apart - such as relaxing draping techniques and the use of hot towels. My massage therapist, Ashley, was both knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I adored her. I also loved the room we were in. I had the pleasure of being in the couples massage room, so it had two beds and a tub. It was nice to get to see that if you book that package you do get a cute room. The lighting in here was better, but I did notice that its still an exterior room and so there is sound that is going to creep in. Thank goodness my mother was in an interior room, or I would have never heard the end of it. She had a full body scrub and she loved it! She thought the method was really interesting and loved her therapist. I also want to note that the women at the front desk were very sweet and helpful. All in all we would say that the professionalism and customer service here is on point, but the business itself is skimping on the luxuries. At least they don't overcharge. I believe you can use the steam room for 35$ a day even if you don't book a service - but I would rather pay 80$ a day for a luxury spa with a hot tub. read more

Staff are polite and they leave you alone just enough to check on you to see your doing okay ... TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I feel horrible my spouse paid for me to receive a Swedish massage/Pedicure from this establishment; only to feel uncomfortable the ENTIRE TIME. Upon arrival, I was barely greeted. Cool. While finishing up my pre-service paperwork, the receptionist nonchalantly tells me, " oh, we forgot to tell you earlier.. but out nail tech had an emergency and won't be in today..." At that point, I was just ready to receive my massage and never return to the place again. Any who, they give me a complimentary upgrade to go with my massage to make up for the mishap. No biggie. I go change, head back to meet my therapist, and from that point on my experience was highly uncomfortable and seemed as though I had shortchanged. I'm sorry, but my massage was terrible.. I even left the establishment with aches in places that did not have aches prior to then. I specifically wrote," Would like to leave feeling rejuvenated" when asked what I wished to accomplish with my session. I did not feel rejuvenated after that session, only very oily and frustrated. (Still left 18% tip) I have paid $100 (plus tip) for a couples session and received MUCH better work/service than my experience with Spa Réveil.
