The problems started right away. The lockers had no locks, and we were told to carry our purses and belongings into the treatment rooms. This immediately felt unsafe and unprofessional -- not what you expect from a spa that claims to offer a secure, relaxing environment. Then we discovered that none of the main amenities were working: * The steam room was out of order * The sauna was closed * The hot tub had no working bubbles or jets -- just still, lukewarm water None of this was mentioned at the time of booking or check-in. These features were a major reason we chose this spa, and yet we were offered no heads-up, no discount, and no real apology. The massage was not only uncomfortable -- it was unacceptable: * I was burned with a hot towel, to the point where it stung * The therapist had long nails that scratched me several times * And when asking me to turn over, she pulled my hair I was so done! Pretty mediocre. We came on a Sunday, and once we paid and got past the receptionist for our massages, there were no staff to be seen in or near the locker rooms. We didn't see or speak to any staff until it was actually time for our massage. I had to find my own locker and towels in the men's locker room, which was ridiculous. I called in advance to request a strong massage therapist, and the receptionist assured me the receptionist assigned to me had strong arms. At the start of my appointment with Mayra (?), I again told her that I liked it really hard, and she affirmed that it would be firm pressure. It was totally soft, no pressure, and not much of a massage at all, no effective results on my muscles. She never asked how the pressure was. My friend came with me and had the same experience with her massage therapist. I've gotten better massages at much cheaper spas, and this place is supposed to be $160+ full price. I would say it was a waste of money. Also odd was there was a portable fan running the whole time. The whole massage was very disappointing. We only saw 1 other person the whole day at the spa, very quiet atmosphere. There were other minor things with the spa attendant that I won't mention but did relay to Hilton customer service. I kept smelling gas at the pool. The pool attendant said he's called maintenance a few times but they have no explanation, that the smell is nothing to worry about. It was concerning. I'd give five stars for my massage, but the overall spa was average. Appointments can be booked by phone. I was easily able to get an appointment for the day and time I preferred by calling about a month in advance. The spa is in its own building near the front circle of The Hilton Lake Las Vegas. For guests it'd be an easy walk. As a local I parked in the nearby garage, took the stairs down a few floors, and walked across the front circle area. It was only about a five minute walk. The lobby and spa service waiting area were grandiose, but in a slightly outdated way. Think more like visiting a 90's mansion. That's the style of the Lake Las Vegas area though. My massage was a relaxing, wonderful five star experience. My massage therapist was Anna. If I ever return I would have to book with her. It was definitely the best massage I've had in awhile, even better than the last one I had at Encore Spa. It was one of those massages that was both relaxing and helped work out the muscles. I visited when covid restrictions prevented spas from having their amenities open, but I was able to look around. I didn't see the luxurious relaxation areas that other spas offer. It didn't seem like there would be much to do outside of getting a service. The actual service rooms lacked a luxurious feeling and were very basic. When I'm looking at spas I'm always looking to see how they stack up against others in town. Spa Ravella would be my pick over the other spa at Lake Las Vegas. That spa has even less to offer. If I was choosing citywide it wouldn't be at the top of my list. Overall, I'd return for a massage. Especially if they are offering a deal on Groupon like they have in the past. The place needs some updates- however the staff are super nice and accommodating. I purchased the Groupon and made the appt- was super easy. There is a 20% surcharge so read the fine print but it is a tip for the staff. I'm a vegas girl so tipping is not new to me. Norma was my masseuse and she was fantastic- the right amount of pressure and warm towels- I was in heaven. We also made use it the jacuzzi and enjoyed our mimosa. My husband and I came here for a a Swedish massage and prenatal massage and left highly disappointed. When we first got to Arabella, it was really hot and humid in the building, we were not greeted by the staff member at the front. She mumbled and never said anything to us while checking us in. Finally she told us to go downstairs and wait. We were than escorted to the locker rooms where none of the locks on the lockers worked or the keys were missing.I did not love that. I then walked around aimlessly as no one told me where to wait for my masseuse. She finally found me and I was taken a very hot room. Every room I went in a plug in fans. Let me start of saying the staff is so nice the front desk Girls were so sweet . This make up was for my wedding so I got the bride plus lashes . It was just bad girls, the girl who did my lashes had no options very little make up and at the end it looked like someone socked me in the face . She had only 2 lash choices which were drastically different dramatic and tiny lashes nothing in between . Very very limited . No shadows, no lip sticks nothing and sorry to say CHEAP MAKE UP AND LASHES . For the price not worth it . But also the girl did a non professional job. My husband got me the Groupon package with 50-minute Swedish massage and mimosa. As I was way too early, I was glad to have use of the relaxation room with complimentary water and selection of teas. The sizes run a little small, but I was able to find a comfy, oversized robe (I am plus size) without too much trouble. There weren't lots of folks around (Thursday mid-day) so I practically had the whole place to myself after the super-relaxing massage from Tyler. Sauna, steam room, hot tub, and sitting pool were all in good condition and very clean, as were the showers and the above-mentioned relaxation room. Yes, it is not "modern" as some other reviewers have mentioned, but I like the old Vegas style so problem for me. Disappointed doesn't begin to cover it. I am not one to leave a terrible review, but here we are. This salon should not be open. AT ALL! I booked a special style for a black tie wedding I was attending at the Hilton hotel. I wanted a 40's glam fingerwave. I got a few curls plastered with hair spray that took 30 mins to comb out later. The hairstylist, Jean, really did the best she could with her extremely limited supplies. She told me she's the only stylist and she works on commission. So she's at the mercy of the products given to her. She had 1 curling iron, 1 brush, some Bobby pins and 1 kind of hair spray (the kind that glues your hair together). Do not under any circumstances book an appt here, for anything. There is another salon in the village there that others of my party went to and had success with. Spa ravella looks like it could have potential, but don't be fooled. Even Jean asked me to leave an honest review or else nothing will change. Their website claims a full salon, but she doesn't even have capabilities/products to wash and set hair. Can't warn you strongly enough, don't go here. Very sad, very disapointed. read more

I came for a company Christmas party our company gave us 200$ towards spa and first off they were saying they didnt have enough staff to do our facials etc i get there thinking my appointment was at 11:30am and they said no it was at 11am when i get there they just talking and talking and then they tell me your 50 min facial will be only 15 min because you arrived late. The manager spoke to me and told me she will still charge me for the facial i never got . I will never recommend this place to anyone. XO read more

We have stayed at Lake Las Vegas several time before, it's our favorite place for a staycation. The property is a s beautiful and the the spa matches that esthetic. It's surprising that this is our first time to this spa since we love spa days. I did not like that you were unable to access the spa through the hotel, you have to walk outside through valet to get to the spa. It's not a far walk and it is beautiful outside, but it was very windy that day and I can imagine on a hot summer day it wouldn't be pleasant either. Our spa attendant was nice and informative but she was loud. Usually spa hosts set the tone, being calm. Once set up with the lockers, it's was a tight space and one of the ladies couldn't find her locker and was frantically trying to open all of them. She was so rude hovering Around us as we were getting settled. She was part of a larger group that was just as obnoxious. The relaxation room didn't have furniture that really felt lIke putting my feet up and reading- and the obnoxious group was being loud as heck. Usually spas keep the relaxation room as a the quiet room. We got a couples massage and my massage was great. She focused on all my problem areas I was concerned about and was able to get some knots out of my back. It was wonderful!! We enjoyed mimosas after our massage. The obnoxious group was gone and we were really able to relax I did almost slip by the jacuzzi. They provided slippers that were not friendly with wet floors at all. The steam room did not feel like there was eucalyptus oil infused in the steam. That was a big disappointment since I love steam rooms that use oils. The sauna was barely hot... so that was a fail... even sitting next to the coals I could barely feel the heat. I would def go again for a facial but get the groupon bc the regular price does not justify the amenities offered. read more

Definitely do not recommend. Drove 50 mins for 2 massages on a Friday at 1pm. We get there 15 mins early and check in and the front desk lady was not welcoming or friendly at all. She can't find our appointments then tells us "you called yesterday to move them to Saturday". I NEVER CALLED, why would I drive 50 mins if I moved it????? I nicely told her "I never called" and she pretty much just gave me a look like "well idk what you want me to tell you". I'm mad at my husband for spending almost 500.00 for two massages here before reading the reviews. (He never does so I should have known.) I was so disappointed. The decor was nice, but it lacked personality and a feeling of warmth. There was only one Attendant working, and while she was pleasant, there were so many dirty towels in almost all the bathroom stalls. There were no scented candles or that familiar eucalyptus scent in the steam room. The relaxation room had infused water, and tea and a few wilted apples. For the price, this spa was so tiny and lacked many of the features I prefer, like a quiet room, with ambient lighting. My bad for not checking before booking, but since the Hotel was nice, I just assumed, the Spa would be too. We came about an hour early to enjoy the facilities before our treatment but honesty it took me about 15 minutes to enjoy all the amenities, and I was bored out my mind. Maybe these things are just my preferences and not necessarily bad. I just prefer an assigned locker with my robe and spa slippers waiting for me. I definitely disliked having to 'swap' out my shoes for a spa slipper in the front. I don't like that!!! Also, I had to go through several lockers to find one with a robe. I loved their robes though, it may have been the most comfortable one to date and I've been to a lot of spas. My massage was good HOWEVER I hate heavy breathing during my massages and though I can't prove it, I think she was smoker. The headrest seem smaller than usual and I know I have a normal sized head. It was very uncomfortable and it took away from my experience. Both my husband and I had indentations across our faces when we got finished so I know I wasn't imagining things. He thinks I'm too picky, I just think at those prices, they can do better. I would give my experience a 4/10 and while I would return to the Resort, I'll take a hard pass on the Spa. This review is for the spa receptionist. Not even the services or the massages, because I haven't received anything yet. The lady who answered the phone was absolutely rude. Before I told her I was gifted a Groupon she was willing to get my husband and I in ASAP. After I mentioned my Groupon, she was immediately rude and said there is nothing for "those services" available for over 3 weeks. I don't see why you can get me in if I'm paying out of my own pocket immediately, but when I mention I have a gift voucher it's an issue. I let her know that wouldn't be ok and if there was anything available at all, because it expires on the 19th and her response was "well I can't help you with that. You need to call groupon".... Okay cool I can do that and understand that, but my question is why is this voucher any different then me booking without one??? I'd still tip and that money put towards the voucher is still good money so why is this any different????? I'd get a new receptionist who isn't such a jerk, Hilton... or at the least put her through customer service training cause she was the absolute worst. read more

I have no complaints about the spa. I had a Swedish massage from Anna. It was very relaxing and enjoyable. The spa offers a fitness room, and separate areas for men and women. The areas include lockers, showers, relaxation area, hot tub, steam room, sauna, cold shower, and cool dip waterfall pool. This place used to be great but lately every time I come in something is wrong. Either it's the steam room out of order or the hot tub is not at proper temperature or the gym is missing equipment and the sauna is always turned off, it takes a good hour or more for it to heat up. I'm paying $70 a month for membership and half the time can't even use everything that is being offered. I will give it another 3 month if nothing is fixed I will be cancelling my membership. read more

This place is a scam. You pay $130 for some body polish and get absolutely horrible treatment. First of all the lady tried to scrub my body with some salt like stuff, skipping most parts of my body, basically she applied that stuff to my back and legs, that's literally it, then you gotta go to shower and after that you have to get your moisturizing treatment which includes extremely cheap product. By the way just ONE EXTREMELY CHEAP product, so basically you come out of this body polish just the same way you have entered it, without proper exfoliation scrub or moisturizer. For $130 they could at least use several products on you just to show off. Oh, one more thing, you kind of get a "massage" while they rub into you some awful moisturizing lotion, so keep in mind that their massage therapist probably have watched some YouTube videos on how to do a massage if they did at all. Absolutely unprofessional stuff. Those massage therapists will mess up with your body that you will need a chiropractor the next day. So after all I can say that I could do a body polish and moisturizer myself and for free! Just save your money cuz going to this place equals throwing it out of window! read more
