I'm shocked at the blatant disregard for customer service at this place. First I'm a new customer that has already had 2 facials and 2 massages, plus a massage for my husband, just to give you an idea of what I already spent in just 3 weeks. I joined the membership knowing I was going to get multiple facials and massages every month. I'm also a pretty good tipper. The last massage I had when I brought my husband in was a little off putting at check-in. They asked my husband medical questions out loud in front of everyone, "have you ever been diagnosed with cancer" was one of them, clearly they don't need to follow HIPAA laws. But I let it go assuming they didn't have to follow these laws and I'm not one to cause a seen a make a fuss in public. This morning I woke up with an awful cough and didn't think it was appropriate to go to my massage appt and possibly get everyone sick. So I called to cancel my appt. Delilah answered and I explained the situation, and with zero empathy and zero concern she stated "ok, I'm going to charge your card on file half of the service" is that ok? My answer..."no", I assumed there would be a cancellation fee, but half?? Absolutely not, so I said I'll just come in sick then, and she responded ok we'll see you at noon. I hung up the phone in absolute shock. Did that really just happen? They want me to come in sick possibly infecting their employees and customers that might be there? After taking a moment, I calmly called back and Delilah answered again, and I told her I would like to cancel my appt for today and my membership....her response, "ok we'll have our cancellation specialist reach out to soon". They need to retrain there staff, especially Delilah, in customer service. I'm still taken aback about the whole experience. Wanting a sick person to come into their facility and letting a really good customer go?? Do better. I feel the bad for my girl that does my facials, she was amazing, and lost a great client due to Delilah. read more

This place has been such a breath of fresh air. I started with their massages after receiving a gift card, and I just kept booking with Kennedy because she's amazing. Any massage type you need, she can adjust pressure and integrate all the add-ons to leave you feeling refreshed. The monthly membership deal is great, and I always leave feeling it is well worth it. After a few months, I decided to try their facials and I only regret not doing this sooner. Not only was this such a relaxing experience with Hailey, but she also left my face feeling clean, moisturized, and ready for a better skin routine. She walked me through some product recommendations and some tips to improve my daily routine. It was fantastic. My skin feels great ever since I had a facial and listened to her skin advice. I was discouraged from doing a 90 min session and when I asked for a scalp massage, I was told I would have to let the front desk know. Pretty unhappy with my massage. It was really odd and she kept putting pressure on my knees/joints in a really weird way. I also told her my hamstrings are a problem area and she barely touched them. And the front desk receptionist kept pronouncing my name wrong despite having me told her my name twice. It's too over priced for what they offer. read more

I stopped by last week to purchase a cream and book a massage appointment for the following weekend. I interacted with two receptionists, both of whom seemed busy and a bit unorganized. The young woman who helped me appeared confused and even mentioned she was distracted by the color of my nails and phone case. I clearly confirmed that I wanted a massage on the 25th, but somehow, she scheduled me for the wrong day and the wrong service. I showed up on the 25th expecting my appointment, only to find out that I wasn't scheduled at all. The only thing the receptionist offered was $10 off my next service, which honestly doesn't make up for the inconvenience. There will not be a "next service." I've decided to cancel my monthly membership because if they can't even manage to schedule an appointment correctly, I don't feel comfortable with them having my credit card information on file. I was told to wait for someone from billing to get back to me, whatever that means. All I know is as of today I don't want to see ANY charges on my statement! read more

I came here because it was nearby and they had some good introductory offers. I was able to pair a massage and facial at the intro rate, but I'll definitely be back. From the receptionist to the therapist, everyone was welcoming and friendly. They clearly look to please their clientele. My massage was with Zach and he was amazing. Great pressure and extremely professional and courteous. He made me feel completely comfortable and relaxed. I would highly recommend him. I know some women prefer female massage therapists, but if you like firm, deep pressure, give Zach a chance. The facial was also nice and relaxing. The time went by quickly. This was not my first time having a massage, but it was my first time visiting Hand and Stone. It was a very odd experience to say the least. Upon entering, I was greeted by two friendly receptionists along with the typical massage place smell. In the massage room, the sheets were scratchy and the room was warm. The lights were really bright and stayed bright the entire massage. I'm not sure if they dimmed or not. On top of the lights, the music was awful. It was an electronic elevator-esq music. I wasn't able to relax at all during the massage. My masseuse spent 45 minutes on my back which left no time to do the front side of my body. He also would drag his finger types across my back. I got a massage from Sheila and she was great! Soft hands and gentle touch put me right to sleep. She was very knowledgeable and took me away from everyday worries even if for just two hours. I got a facial from Hailey and she took care of all of my skin issues and needs. I was so relaxed I dosed off a few times. I have been going to H & S for a couple years. I take time off to get a much needed massage. A while back , the lady that was doing my massage, suddenly left the business. H & S neglected to tell me that THEY were switcihing me anoither worker. I said ok and then got the absolute worst massgae of my lifetime and that is a very large number. I told them taht I didn't appreciate it and told them that I was canselling my membership. I filled out the required forms and signed off on the place. I was told of another worker that I would like and after several months, I called and said that I'd like to schedule an appointmnet with the new woman. I was told that I was STILL a member and that I had continued being charged. I was very upset about this but I said that I would give the new woman a shot. She was very good and i scheduled another appointment for today. Again, I took off from work. When I got tot the place , i was THEN told that the girl had left the company and that THEY , once again, were just switching me to another person. I was extremely irate that no one, for the second time, took the time to inform me of the switch. My daughter Linda and I had our first visit at Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa. The salon is beautiful, extremely clean, smells wonderful and plays soothing music. The best part was our treatments! Linda had an hour massage by Ann Marie, who did a wonderful job! Linda said that she wants to visit this spa every time she comes to Las Vegas! My massage by Tony was also wonderful, so much so, that I will sign up for their Lifestyle Program. Terrible and rude customer service. Called the facility 5 times until I was able to get someone to pick up and they've been open for 2.5 hours. Finally spoke with a representative by the name of Nicole. Booked two appointments with her over the phone for my girlfriend and I for the same day which Nicole did offer both 3pm and 400pm as it showed on her screen. Gave her all of my gift card and payment information for the reservation. Acknowledged all of the facilities requests. Booked, done, plans were made. Moments later come to find out (via text message) the appointments were not confirmed because of the lack of thoroughness and proper training this employee has receive believe me it is very clear if you ever have to deal with Nicole. Nicole is rude and condescending . Understand that just because you attempt to speak sweet doesn't mean it's okay for you to speak to neighborhood customers they way that you want to and it removes you from being accountable for your actions. People make mistakes, it happens and I understand to an extent but when you make a mistake the first thing you should do is to apologize for YOUR mistake and for the inconvenience. Never begin with an excuse then cut off a customer. Look for other options and accommodations to make the customer happy. Get your manager involved to hopefully come up with a resolution. read more

Very nice reception area. Everyone was so pleasant. Very clean and sanitized. I was there for an eyebrow wax. I was not impressed. Under my brow was waxed and then I was told I was done. I asked about waxing between my brows and they said "oh you want that done too?" I have been waxing my brows for 30 years and have never had to ask for this area to be waxed. Also common is waxing above the brow, trims and clean up plucking. None of that was done either. I didn't want to keep asking because this should be part of the service. Passed by this place on my way to Sprouts next door and decided to look them up online. I booked online a last minute massage on a Friday and was able to be seen. Due to COVID-19, they do not take in walk-in appointments so make sure you book online or call them to save time. If you book online, you can fill out all the paperwork online as well so when you come in, you just have to wait. I came in 15 minutes early just in case and used their restroom (very clean) and waited for my massage therapist. The front desk staff were very kind and welcoming and offered me water. The waiting area was also very clean and social distancing was implemented. My therapist was Carson and this was the second time I've ever received a professional massage (first time was over a year ago). It was definitely much needed since I held loads of tension in my upper back and shoulders from studying and working out more intensely from the pandemic. I communicated to him about the areas I needed work on and he asked me some questions to get a better picture of what he needed to do. There's an alert type button at the underside of the massage table which he told me if I felt uncomfortable for any reason, I can press it and I will be attended to by other staff. The massage was truly great and healing. He found areas of knots and tension I didn't know I had and was very professional throughout the whole session, checking in with me to make sure the pressure wasn't too much or too little. I was scared of falling asleep but I didn't which I'm glad because I would have missed out. When the session was over, I thought I would feel sleepy but I felt very "normal" in that the issues I came in for disappeared which I was surprised and very content about. Before he left for me to change, he offered water and a warm towel to wipe off any excess product. On my way out, I was told that my right shoulder (front/back) held a lot of tension so that's why he had to work those areas a little harder and suggested I come back again and stretch those areas more often until I return. He also mentioned for me to drink lots of water. I appreciated all the communication he provided--very succinct and to the point. I'm not one to have my service providers try to be my best friend on the first encounter. I ended up joining their membership program because it's not a bad deal at all and when you compare it to other establishments, this is probably the best price you can get.
