After suffering from days of intense back pain, I booked an appointment here, and I am so incredibly glad I did. The overall atmosphere of the place is calming and the location is great, but the massage itself was the real standout. My massage therapist was Sam, and he was the consummate professional. I always ask for a true deep tissue massage with maximum pressure, and I've found many places can't maintain that intensity for the whole session. Sam was different, he delivered the exact pressure I needed and was impressively consistent from start to finish. It was immediately clear that he has a deep understanding of his craft. He knew exactly how to work out the extreme tightness in my back, following the direction of the muscles in a way that provided immediate relief. I walked out of my session feeling like a new person. My mom and I recently went to Boracay Massage for treatment packages. She received the Boracay Sunrise ($135) package, which included a Swedish Massage, Hand and Foot Scrub, and Aromatherapy. I received the Tropical Serenity package ($145), which included a Deep Tissue Massage, Hot Stone Therapy, and Peppermint Foot Scrub. When I made my reservation, they collected a $40 deposit over the telephone. I will have to say, when I first arrived at the Sola Salon, and located Boracay Massage, I was on the verge of canceling the appointment. Sola Salon is kind of like an indoor strip mall of salon services, consisting of small suites for hair salons, tanning, etc. When I say small, I mean SMALL. Each of the little salons had maybe 1-2 stations/operators. Boracay Massage was no different- it was just a room with 2 massage tables and supplies, separated by a curtain. They tried to spruce it up as best as possible, but it was still rather off-putting. The 2 therapists were very nice and pleasant, but I still felt uneasy, especially when I realized that my mom and I would be getting our massages simultaneously in the same small room. We decided to go through with it, since we were there already, and were very glad that we did. The massage packages were lovely. My deep tissue massage was probably one of the best ones I've ever received, and she checked how I felt about the pressure and really worked to get the knots out. However, I think that given the environment, they were a bit overpriced. For a similar price, I could get at least a Swedish Massage at a spa on the Strip with access to sauna, steam rooms, jacuzzi, and fitness room in a very nice environment. Today, my husband called on my behalf, because I could not move and was in severe pain, Rochelle was able to squeeze me in by sacrificing her own family time. I do not trust anyone but her to give me a massage. Immediate she knew what my problem was. Prior to my session, I was not able to move my neck more that 30 degrees each way, but by the time my session was over I was 90% and remainder just requires rest, time, and stretching. Again, Rochelle has a good understanding of muscles, occupational function, and anatomy. Her ability to listen to your needs and her understanding of anatomy, makes her massages truly therapeutic. You will feel the long lasting, positive effects of her massages, which is the true value. If you are looking for some fru-fru decor "off-the-strip" "luxury spa deal than you might be disappointed, but if you are looking genuine care and real massage experience, then you must meet Rochelle, she will positively change your expectations of a massage. My experience with Boracay was excellent. I was on vacation with the wife for our Anniversary and part of the day involved a couples massage at another location. When that salon cancelled on us (!) I was left scrounging for another place. Boracay to the rescue. They fit us in in a mid-week afternoon slot which happened to be the day of our actual anniversary date which was perfect! The studio fit just right for our package and I was more than happy with the massage and aromatherapy. They had a special for couples and for $140 we both got an excellent 60-minute massage and aromatherapy. They cater to you and what you want/don't want and try their best to make you as relaxed as possible. Loved it. read more

We did couple massages, or he scheduled one for me as a treat and a way to pamper me (sometimes, I just asked and he booked it). I always had Rochelle - the owner. She did a great job with hotstone/deep tissue/therapy massages & was always professional. I always left her place feeling relaxed & happy. The only cons were her location was further out and it was hard to get an appointment so, I suggest you to make an appointment well in advance. At first I was diappointed because me + 2 of my friends wanted a massage at the same time but we were told that day of that one of the therapists could not make it in that day, even though we made our appointments a month in advance. Because of the inconvenience of having to make 2 separate trips there, we were offered a ride back to our hotel after one group of our massages. I really feel so cold when my back bare outside for massage so I asked to add some hot stone, she told me I don't have enough time for hot stone then how about add another half hour, I didn't ask the price just say, okay. but finally I paid 165 dollars for this massage also she charge for the time when I filled the paper and for me to change, plus she finished massage 7 mins before due time! She is highly skilled in finding areas of need and working out knots, tension, and tightness until they are just gone. She was not afraid to work my body as much as it needed, to 'fix' the problem, yet she was still sensitive to how much I could handle. Its on Tropicana but you have to turn off another street to actually get to the location. Either way we arrived - couples massage. They worked on us without asking any questions about the type of massage and at the end slapped us with a $180 bill. $90 for a 35 minute massage. You have to be kidding me. I understand I came late but I also wasnt expecting to be taken advantage of. On the website a swedish massage is less. $90 is for thier special in which I obviously didnt realize I had gotten. For that amount, you are better off getting a massage on the strip. At least there would be facilities to use. This place is a one room shop studio in a building with 20 other suites. Thin walls. My boyfriend surprised me with a couples massage this past weekend in Vegas. I will admit I was a little skeptical when we pulled up to a strip mall away from the main strip. However, we drove and had our own car so the distance wasn't an issue.
