I will just start off by saying WOW if these reviews are real then they were extremely discriminatory! This was a terrible experience for me and my boyfriend. We were excited to be getting a massage and we waited a week or so. When we got there the door was locked & other clients let us in. They looked tired but seemed ready to do the job... NOT!
I was massaged by the guy, Ray, and mentioned I wanted relaxation: First of all the entire time, Im having dialogue in my head because I'm just not relaxed at all Im bored & my kid could do a better job. It seemed like he didn't even want to touch my skin, barely massaging. At times there were pressure but it was mostly a quick rub down with oil. It was so fast and comically mediocre. The whole time, I was waiting for something to happen, nope, just soft rubs & me feeling discriminated against. I forsure thought him & Perla were making faces at eachother during the session, probably not but I could feel this massage wasn't right. There was no part of it that I loved or made me feel relaxed. He's a man too, I was sure he was gonna get to some pressure points, he spent 30 minutes doing the same slow move on my shoulders, I was gonna ask if we can Move It Along, but decided against it.
My boyfriend was massaged by Perla: now imagine my experience but WORSE. He says it was like she was on her phone, because she was using one hand & doing small pinches. Again, like they didn't want to touch our skin. When she first started she had WAY too much pressure, which I thought could be a good thing, nope she went way too deep and it was uncomfortable for him, after that she had no more pressure to give. She basically only put oil on him and did none if the things Ray did, and that's not saying much. Perla then comes to the end of the session and almost BLINDS my poor boyfriend. Remember she had no more pressure to give and was doing a LOUSY job, BUT decided when she was massaging his eyes thats's where the pressure should be. She literally applied so much pressure to his eyes, they were popping out of his head, with the visual I was DYING laughing lol but thats not professional at all. She absolutely needs to learn technique.
When we were done we instantly got up and shook our head in disappointment, motioning the thumbs down to eachother. Im wondering, is the technique and professionals in the Room with us, because I couldn't tell. Overall I did tip & was hoping to give more lol but remember that dialogue, I quickly talked myself out of that, it was not deserved. My boyfriend says I shouldn't have tipped at all. In conclusion, we won't be back & I will be doing a chargeback. The SWEDISH part of the massage was not received and this was overpriced ridiculousness. Terrible company, terrible service; overall terrible. When Im speaking of massage places, I will only mention them to talk about my horrible experience and will advise to go elsewhere. We ended up leaving more tense and upset than we came & we came EXCITED! Thanks for absolutely nothing Ray & Perla! read more
