Backstory: I've been going to another Thai spot for a few years now but I felt it was time to try…read morea new place and I'm glad I did! Did my usual research on Massage 1 Thai, I recall checking them out awhile back but prices seem a bit higher (at least back then) Note prices are still higher if you pick their Dean Martin location (that's close to the strip) Pricing: Now that they have a local resident's special, it's $90 for the hour and $140 for 90 minutes. Granted it's still slightly higher than my old spot by $10-$20 but in my opinion it's worth the extra cost. Location: Plenty of parking out front, easy access Facility: The lobby is nicely decorated, very modern, sleek, nothing over the top. I had to use their restroom real quick before the massage and it was nice and clean. As I was walking back towards the lobby, Nancy is already there waiting and guided me to the room. The rooms are very nice, clean, what I'm impressed with most is they have an actual wall mount closet where you can put all your clothing, items (glasses, sunglasses, etc.) completely out of sight. Very nice touch! On my intake form, I've put areas to focus is my shoulder and that's exactly what Nancy focus on. She's very skill and spent most of the time on my shoulder, it was painful but nice to get the knots out of the way. She did some back walking which was nice as well as some stretches. I'm usually not a big fan of stretches but these weren't too over the top. My appointment was initially 60 minutes (just to test the water so to speak) but Nancy was so good I had to extend to 90 minutes. She even had me roll to my side to work on my shoulder a bit more. Nancy is genuinely caring and her English is very good so it was easy to carry on conversation with her. After an hour and a 1/2, which seemed longer (and it was) all good things must come to an end. Nancy even did the gentle awakening sound (that's new to me) at the end of the session. Massage 1 Thai Spa is now my new go to spot, will be back for sure! Thank you Nancy!

I was told to request someone (whom I recently learned no longer works there- but she was really good!!!) I always picture 110lb or less thai women but I got someone who did not fit that stereotype- I was worried, BUT she did not step on my back. She def stepped on my booty and upper thighs and lightly stepped on my calves- I cringed bc I dislike my legs massages but I stuck with it only wincing once or twice and I think she read my body language so she decreased the pressure. This was the best massage of my life... and the most intimate. She stretched me in ways I've never been stretched and in the end she came behind me... so we were both on the table and held me while stretching my back- mind you, I just finished a gym session so bless her heart. I left the place so indica relaxed... and then they had kopiko candies at the checkout desk so you can wake up! Lol. I'm def sad that the massage therapist I had is no longer there but you can tell who is popular when you go on their website to make a booking. It is pretty expensive, but if you book within a month of your last appt, you get $30 bucks off.

My husband and I visited Modu Spa after purchasing a Groupon for a couples massage, and sadly, my experience fell short of expectations. From the moment we arrived, I had high hopes for a relaxing and rejuvenating experience, but it quickly became clear that i were in for a letdown. The massage itself was disappointing. I was paired with a masseuse who seemed unresponsive to my requests for deeper pressure. Despite informing her five times that I wanted a firmer touch, each time she would briefly accommodate me before returning to a light, ineffective rubdown. It felt more like a surface-level rub than a proper massage therapy session. By the end, I was so frustrated that I just wanted to leave. When I approached the manager to share my concerns, I found her attitude to be defensive and unhelpful. Rather than addressing my disappointment, she seemed more interested in arguing about the situation. We had paid for an extra 30 minutes of service, but she insisted that since I didn't receive the full time, I should pay an additional $20. This felt very unfair, especially considering that I had already paid for a service that was not delivered properly. The manager even suggested that I get up from the table to find her if I felt unhappy during the massage. Honestly, I was not about to leave the room in that state, nor did I want to escalate things further. A good spa experience should be about relaxation and comfort, not confrontation. Overall, I left Modu feeling more stressed than when I arrived, and I cannot recommend this place based on my experience. For the price, I expected at least a decent massage and customer service, but unfortunately, Modu did not deliver. I would recommend seeking out one of the many other spas in Las Vegas where you might have a better chance of a satisfying experience. read more

MoDu Massage & Spa After several days of walking around Las Vegas, my feet were definitely ready for a break, and MoDu Massage & Spa was exactly what I needed! I chose the 30-minute foot massage for $40, and it was incredibly relaxing. The massage therapist did a great job working on all the sore spots without rushing through the session. The spa had a calm, quiet atmosphere, and when I visited, it wasn't busy at all, which made the experience even more peaceful. One thing to note is that there was a $2 credit card processing fee when paying by card, and of course, don't forget to budget for your tip. Prices * 30-minute foot massage: $40 * Credit card fee: $2 * Additional massage services and longer sessions are also available. Hours Open daily from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Location Located at 6825 W. Russell Rd., Suite 175, Las Vegas, NV 89118, just a short drive from the Strip. It was convenient to get to and easy to find. Parking There is plenty of free parking in the shopping center, and we had no trouble finding a spot. Tips * Call ahead if you want a specific appointment time, although walk-ins may be available when it's not busy. * Wear comfortable clothing so you can fully relax. * Bring cash if you want to avoid the small credit card processing fee. * If you've been walking the Las Vegas Strip all day, a foot massage here is the perfect way to recover before your next adventure. Overall, I had a great experience and left feeling refreshed and relaxed. The massage was exactly what my tired feet needed after a busy vacation. The quiet atmosphere, convenient parking, and reasonable pricing made it well worth the visit, and I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in Las Vegas. read more

"I recently visited MODU Massage & Spa for a Swedish massage, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The booking process was smooth, and the spa had a serene ambiance with calming music and pleasant aromas! MODU is a big store that has eight luxurious massage rooms. There is also a waiting room in the front with a comfortable Couch , plenty of bottles water in the refrigerator next to it. Soon I walked in , what a clean sparkle place! Clean is my top consideration as a guest. My therapist Wai Wei was very professional and took the time to ask about my preferences and any areas of concern. The massage itself was incredibly relaxing, with the perfect amount of pressure applied. I left feeling refreshed and much lighter. The price was reasonable for the quality of service, and I appreciated the first-time visitor discount. Overall, I would highly recommend MODU to anyone looking for a high-quality massage in a peaceful setting. I'll definitely be returning!" read more

We came in for a couples massage and unfortunately left confused and disappointed. Both my partner and I requested deep tissue, but what we received felt more like a light application of oil and CBD cream rather than an actual therapeutic massage. There was little to no pressure, and the experience did not reflect what we specifically asked for. Additionally, one therapist's phone rang repeatedly and was not addressed promptly. There was also ongoing, fairly loud conversation between the two therapists during the session. This made it difficult to relax and was extremely unprofessional. Overall, the experience did not feel attentive or intentional. It was disappointing, especially given the expectation of professionalism and care when booking a service like this. We left feeling not prioritized or respected. I cannot overstate how disappointing this experience was. Unfortunately, I will not be returning, nor would I feel comfortable recommending this establishment to others. read more
