The massage is possibly not the best massage that one can get, but it is really convenient for me, considering it was a last minute decision on my end to get a massage on a Sunday morning. My sister has been to this place as well, she did appreciate the massage that she got. Matter of factly, she came here before me. She is the reason that I came to this location in the first place. Sasha a girl on site gave me a massage and it was quite pleasing.

I told her I needed a massage for between my shoulder blades and wanted a chair where i can sit with my face down to get a massage, not a full body massage. She told me they do not do that as they have to have a license to do...huh? There is a picture of a person on their website getting a massage as I had just described. And I googled chilair massages before I arrived and this came up! I should add that I am Black and happened to be dressed a bit down this morning after getting up and racing off early to get an adjustment after suffering with upper back pain all week. I should also add that I live in a 2 peron household that earns well over 100k per year with disposable income after taxes and monthly expenditures. To say I was insulted when advised of a $1 chair massage down the street is an understatement. Their loss! I will just go back to my regular place where I am always welcomed and they always greet me by name and hugs! Your loss for being racist and judgemental

She gave me one of the best two-hour massages I've had in a long time--starting with my traps, then moving through my delts, medial glutes, and hamstrings--methodically breaking down months of built-up tension from the gym. Despite her small stature, she's incredibly skilled and strong, and she knows exactly how to target problem areas. I walked out feeling completely reset. She's hardworking, kind, and truly cares about her clients. I highly recommend booking with her--but make sure you schedule ahead, because she stays booked. She's off on Sundays and typically works after 2 PM. Thank you, Ada. You've earned every bit of that tip. God bless.

UPDATE: To the manager, please don't make insulting statements suggesting that your team offered to…read moreadjust the service, amount, or otherwise resolve the situation. Your response is very misleading, and honestly, I find your comment insulting. I'm not sure if you were the manager handling the situation that night, but if you have cameras, I strongly encourage you to pull the footage and review what actually happened. A woman came barging out of her client's room and immediately started yelling at us to leave. She did not allow us to explain anything or even hear us out. The situation became so heated that her own employees had to step in and calm her down because she was yelling at us. So, to suggest in your response that there was some reasonable attempt to resolve the situation is simply not an accurate reflection of what we experienced. I stand by my review, and I find your comment dismissive and insulting. And if you are the manager who acted that way that night, I sincerely hope you regret how you handled the situation. No customer should be treated that way. ---------- I've been coming to East Foot Spa for almost 10 years, which is why I'm honestly so disappointed by what happened tonight. Our appointment was at 6:30 PM, but my partner and I were waiting in the room until around 6:50 because the therapists were running late. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe they would make up for the time in the actual massage. The massage started off okay, but it didn't feel like the usual experience we've had there. My partner asked his therapist at least 5 times to apply more pressure. Then, to make matters worse, the massage ended 7 minutes early. I went to the front desk and calmly explained that we weren't happy with the experience. The woman at the front desk just smiled and nodded, so I finally said, "I need this addressed." They explained that we paid for a combination massage and not a deep tissue massage. We weren't arguing about what type of massage we paid for, and we weren't asking for our money back. We simply wanted to adjust the tip because the service didn't meet our expectations. The employee then went to get the owner to explain the issue to her. Instead of coming out to calmly speak with us, the owner came out yelling at us and immediately told us not to come back, all while another customer was right there. I was honestly shocked by how she handled it. We were trying to address a service issue, not cause a scene or refuse to pay. If you're the owner, I would expect you to come out, listen to the customer, and try to resolve the situation not come out yelling and telling loyal customers to leave. Another employee was asking us to lower our voices, but it's hard to stay calm when the owner is yelling at you. We were simply trying to have our concern heard. After almost a decade of coming here, I never expected to be treated this way. The massage was disappointing, but the way the owner handled the situation was honestly what made this experience so upsetting. She told us not to come back, and after tonight, we won't. It's really unfortunate because we had been loyal customers for years.

Craig Maxfield is a therapist that I saw many years ago and I was grateful that my daughter (who is also in the profession) found he works there about three days a week! What a God send! I've consistently had great experiences here, which is why I've continued supporting this business for so long. The therapists I've worked with have always been knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely attentive. They take the time to listen to my concerns before each session and tailor the treatment accordingly. I always leave feeling significantly better than when I walked in, and that's why I've remained a loyal customer for so many years. Unfortunately, I recently learned that IMR is now charging a 3% surcharge for credit card payments, and I have to say, it really annoys me. In today's world, paying with a credit card is the norm, and accepting those processing fees has traditionally just been part of the cost of doing business. Seeing that expense passed directly on to loyal customers--especially members--was disappointing. I truly enjoy supporting this business and would much rather continue my membership, but this new surcharge has honestly made me question whether I want to keep it. It's unfortunate because the quality of the massages has never been the issue. I sincerely hope they reconsider this policy, because it's the one thing that's making me think twice about continuing as a member.
