First and last time here. I wasn't going to write a review, but the audacity of the lady berating me for my initial tip bothered me enough to write this. First off- I specifically requested for a hard massage both in email and paper form that I filled out while there. The lady that brought me into the massage room wasn't the same lady that massaged me. Since we went over the forms and type of massage. It was a noticeably older, very thin lady, who I had a feeling wasn't going to be able to massage me hard enough. Sure enough, it wasn't. And definitely not even licensed quality in massage techniques, by what I got. Which was at most a 5 pressure out of 10. I request 8-10. Massage was mainly pressing and wiping. She asked once if I was ok, and I replied "Yes, and can you massage harder, if possible please". Knowing she was older and tried her best, I remained polite the entire massage. Even though she never asked me again, Secondly- Since the place is next to an animal grooming business. I kept hearing dogs barking, echoing through-out the massage. First time I ever experienced this in the US, in my 30+ years. There are sound proofing you can invest in to mitigate this, in a business setting. My masseuse apologized for the noise during my massage. And lastly- As stated earlier, the audacity of the initial Middle aged woman, who processed me in and out on payment. They both were nice to me, but the minute I said the tip amount which was $10 out of an $80 total, she gasped in negative disbelief out loud, in front of my masseuse. And scowled "20% of 80 is $16". I played it off to my math error, and gave her the 20% as to not have my masseuse feel bad. But that was a very unprofessional and entitled transaction, given my already negative experience. Would anyone else have tipped 20% given this experience? I went home having to lacrosse ball my own back to get the knots out after paying $100. Again, to be nice, I wasn't going to write this review. But now I feel it is justified given that type of treatment. I won't even bother trying this place with a difference masseuse now, and I should have known by all the available slots open during that day, that the quality of the massage would be questionable. read more

My husband and I have been here twice now for a couple massages. We have had the most wonderful experience. Clean quiet atmosphere. The therapist all have been amazing we have done cupping for the first time. It totally helped my husband's upper back pain and my knee pain. Thank you Lotus we will definitely be back. read more

What could improve? Everything! On December 26th, my wife went to Lotus Massage for a massage. This was her second visit. The previous massage was very good and she even had a kind of cupping-style massage. She said it felt great, so she went back again. But this time it was incredibly bad. She was actually kicked out by the owner of the shop. She was very angry. She had never been insulted like this before. She was having a sore back and wanted to relax. But the massage therapist couldn't do the massage. She just pressed randomly on her back, making her feel very uncomfortable. She asked the lady "Can you do the massage?" She didn't understand and then she poured a lot of massage oil on my wifes back, even getting it on her hair. Later, a woman came from the next room. She was the owner. The lady had a bad attitude. She told my wife "You are done ." She spoke to the other person in Chinese and told them to stop my the massage. At the time , my wife's back was still sore and she didn't argue with her. She said she had never been insulted like this before. My wife said she will never go to this shop again. The owner is rude and has no customer service, and the masseuse's technique is not good! I had one of the best massages I have ever had at Lotus Massage! The masseuse was very thorough and she had the perfect pressure. There was no wasted time filling out a bunch of paperwork; it took perhaps two minutes. Most places use up 15 minutes with paperwork and time to take off clothes, etc. so, at most places instead of getting one hour of massage time, you only gets 45 minutes. I just had a baby and my boyfriend and I wanted a relaxing massage, specifically a swedish massage that targeted our back. We left there still needing another massage. Not a professional massage. Didn't have any technique. Just rubbing. When you check in you fill out a form asking what pressure you want, areas to target, health conditions, etc. I wrote down that I was breastfeeding as a precaution because this is my first massage after having my first baby. During the massage they stopped to read our papers (idk why they didn't do it before hand away from us) but I swear they were joking around about it in their language making "tsss tsss" sounds and giggling like their mimicking breast milk squirting. And if they weren't, you just don't make comments during the service in case it's perceived differently. Again, not professional. I just felt uncomfortable after that. They didn't ask us what type of massage we were needing like other places. They just do the same general massage for each person. They use hot stones and try to crack your joints so if you like that then come here. But we wanted our muscles to be massaged with technique, not just oil rubbed all over. So if you're looking for technique and skill--go somewhere else. Even though we were unhappy, we tried tipping 18%, but they chuckled and said, "why not 20%". We ended up giving 20% just to get out of there as fast as possible. read more

Worst massage EVER. As the other reviews mentioned not professional, no technique and just rubbing versus actual massage techniques. Don't waste your money here. Also they don't read the form you fill out I wanted 30min upper back massage and they massage my legs and other body parts when I iterate both prior to booking my appointment and at start of my appointment that I specifically wanted to target my upper back tension. Total waste of my time. All the other reviews are accurate front lady will scold you if you don't leave large tip or any tip. I personally always tips service providers if the service is not subpar. I know how pain my loved one was in with tight muscles. She came out a new woman! Cici greeted us warmly and kindly. Mimi gave my loved one the massage and was a master masseuse. There was gentleman who came out before my loved one and was so grateful for the amazing massage he received giving a generous tip for his masseuse. This was my first (and last) time at this establishment. I came in wanting some relief for my plantar fasciitis and decided to treat myself to a foot massage. I have been to many Asian foot massage places over the last 20 years so I am very familiar with the style of what a foot massage should be. When I entered, I was greeted by two ladies at the front desk. I asked for an hour foot massage and they tried to upsell me for $10 more for half body/half foot massage. I politely declined. The room was dimly lit and played soft music. I was asked to lay down on a bed (which I found very unusual for a foot massage as a lounge type chair would be much more comfortable) but I agreed and laid down. What followed was less than a full hour of half hearted rubbing up and down my calves for what seemed like twenty minutes followed by light, strokes on the soles of my feet. About half way through I finally asked her to please use more pressure, which she tried to do-but it still fell short of what I have experienced at other places. I ended up being more annoyed than anything, and my feet still hurt. I paid with cash and gave a generous $15 tip. Honestly, I did not feel this was worth even half of what I paid. I will be looking for another massage place but this is a one and done for me. So disappointed. read more

Best kept secret in Henderson! Had a 2 hour deep tissue massage and got in 30 minutes after I called. They are open 7 days a week 10-9 daily so you can go anytime without an appt. but appts are recommended.
